About this house rental

The charming building has a rich history with origins dating back to as early as the mid-1800s . The original structure burnt down and was rebuilt in 1918, but it is believed that parts of the early foundation still remain. It has operated as numerous businesses and has seen a handful of owners throughout its life. This newly-restored one bedroom suite on main floor features some original chestnut window trim, hardwood floors, locally-made Amish furniture, and beautiful views of historic downtown Berlin

The unit itself was amazing! It was welcoming, cozy and everything we were looking for! The location of this unit was in the heart of everything for Rib Fest and the parade. I’m sad it is already booked for next year but whoever rented it will be very happy with their stay! The only negative goes along with the nature of a popular, public event. We constantly had people we didn’t know sitting on the porch of the unit, which kept us from using it at times. But overall, 10/10 and would highly recommend!!

We loved the location; however, we felt that it definitely wasn't for Senior Citizens. My husband was so afraid of falling in the tub. No rubber mat, no grab bars. We're both in our 80's. We love the area and have been there many times.

Right downtown with convenient parking. Clean, and very usable. Somewhat noisy until early evening, but then great. Very cost comparable, furnishings would change to a chair/ recliner rather than the L shaped couch pull out. Pullout sleeper was not used.

Mom and I have stayed here several times now and we absolutely love it. The decor is so beautiful and the bed is so comfy. We call it our home away from home at our happy place.

This is our new favorite place to stay when visiting Berlin! It is clean, cozy, and feels like home. The owners have thought of everything! The location is perfect, you can walk to all the shops and you have your very own parking space! Will def stay here again! Five stars!

What a wonderful place to stay! I was in awe of the beautiful furniture, woodwork, and decor. The bed was super comfy and everything so clean! My 3 year old son and I enjoyed our weekend here and loved the goodies that were left for us. He loved being able to have his own disposable coffee cup to have morning "coffee" with Mommy and loved the popcorn! Thank you for the "souvenir" coffee cup that will always remind us of our weekend Mommy/Son getaway. There isn't a better location...you're literally in the middle of everything. We loved swinging and people watching. We can't wait to bring more family back! Thank you for sharing your impeccably beautiful Wurthmann House with us.

Great place. Very clean and neat. The host thought of everything. Even the bathroom items and coffee maker with Keurig cups. It's right next to the best restaurant in town, so that's a big plus. 5 star place and 5 star host. Many shops and things to do nearby. We watched a movie with the gourmet popcorn provided.

This is our fourth time staying at this location. We love staying here. It's noisy with all the traffic but the place is so nice. Rocking chairs on the porch. Comfy bed and a big bathroom. We stay in number 2 on the bottom room. It is right beside our favorite restaurant. Boyd&Wurtherman

This isn't the first time we have stayed at the Wurthmann House and will not be the last. We always have had a great experience when staying here. It is by far the best place to stay in Berlin and located right next door to the best restaurant in Berlin, Boyd and Wurthmann. Robert and Connie are the nicest hosts and will help you with whatever you need. It is always nice chatting with them when we come to visit!

We loved everything about the place especially the rockers on the front porch. After shopping it was so nice just to relax and people watch. Best restaurant in town is right next door! We will definitely be back

This property was ideal. So very cool to stay right on Main St. The home was clean and very pretty. Having the outside rocking chairs and swing outside was an added bonus. The full size refridgerator was a blessing! We will stay again.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at wurthmann apts. Great location to quilts shop hops The apartment is so comfort and farmhouse chic. Welcoming and so comfortable Host and hostess are marvelous hosts and very helping when i messed up the dates

The Wurthmann House never disappoints. On this visit a good friend and I stayed for a couple nights and I think we could have just stayed in the entire time and been perfectly happy. The Keurig stopped working the first morning and the owner immediately sent over a working one! I just keep going back with my husband or taking a friend because it’s so perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wurthmann house. The place was well furnished, decorated and very clean. Loved the complimentary popcorn and mug. Met the owners who very welcoming, and took pride in their community. We'll definitely be staying there again on a future visit.

We had a little problem finding the building because the address was different than the address given for parking. But no major issues. No problem getting in. Conveniently located in town with parking close.

We had the best time staying here. Great location. Cozy place for a couple or a few girlfriends to stay. Full size fridge for your grocery goodies. Complimentary k cups, coffee mug & popcorn! We will be back!
