Clean and spacious rooms

Lovely Inn in a great location in Swarthmore if you are looking at the school or just visiting. Quiet, comfortable rooms with all you need, great restaurant and breakfast was lovely. Staff attentive and unbeatable location. Would highly recommend and return

Stayed in a king size room very large and comfy room. The bed was comfy but on the shorter side my husband whom is 6 foot tall just fit on the bed, if any taller his feet would of dangled off.

Nice hotel. Big room. Very comfortable bed.

The room and bathroom were spacious. Well located for Swarthmore college visit.

The mattress was AWFUL. Terrible nights sleep. Had friends staying In additional rooms, they had the same experience. Woke up sore and exhausted after a long long night of attempting to get comfortable. Everything else was great. The beds are god awful.

Location is great for Swarthmore, both for the college and the small downtown section near the train station.

Overall grear although the elevator was out and that was a problem for my 75 year old father who has a bad hip. Rooms are clean but a bit dated. Staff was friendly. Parking was super easy.

*Waited about 15 minutes upon arrival at the checkin desk for someone tonhelp us checkin. Person finally came out from an adjacent office. *Stayed on the 3rd floor, but the elevator did not work during our stay. *The restaurant and bar was nice, although the bartender on a Sat afternoon, stepped away for awhile and I had to aske several staff to get us a bar menu and placesetting for out food. Came back later for dinner and the Saturday night bartender was on excellant and we had great service then. *Room was clean and bed was comfortable although the matress under the sheet looked lumpy like lumpy mashed potattoes...maybe time for newer matress upgrades. *Lots of parking and quiet. HVAC like alot of Inns/Hotels had its own brand of noises from wear, but I was able to get used to it and sleep. All in all, would stay there again, but the service generally on the weekend needs improvement and possibly upgrades to bedding and and a possible tune-up to heater/AC unit.

The elevator did not work and hadn’t worked in about a week we were told. The entrance doors to hotel have a button to open doors, but one door didn’t open and the other only opened half way, making it difficult for a member of my group who is blind, to enter. When this was discussed with the receptionist she became defensive.

We stayed here recently during the Thanksgiving holiday. Staff was kind but not particularly so and definitely not available all the time. The hotel locks its exterior doors at 11pm, if you get back to the hotel after this time, you are at the mercy of the night staff being awake to answer a door bell. In our case they never did answer our multiple presses and we had to have someone else come down and let us in. Cleanliness is just okay. They change the sheets and towels and that’s about it. The room was very dusty and the air filter on the HVAC unit in the room was clogged with dust and hadn’t been changed since early Aug (it is now late Nov). Would I stay here again? Sure. It’s very close to mass transit and a nice downtown area. Will I ever clamor excitedly to others about this place? Probably not.

We enjoyed our stay with Swarthmore and would love to visit again the next time we are in the area. Our room was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. A home away from home.

Service was great

Driving down from N.H. the Inn was easy to locate and convenient for our visit. The room was good size and fairly quiet. The hotel staff was polite and very friendly. On our first night we ate in the Inn's restaurant, this was a one time event. I ordered a steak which was advertised a 16 oz. - lucky if it was 8 oz and quite tough. Ordered a $9:00 glass of wine and was charged $15:00 and the service was lacking.
