Very nice home and exactly as advertised. This is one of my best VRBO experiences - Excellent. Very clean and well decorated with a very functional kitchen - we had everything we needed. Nice patio for visiting and a complete laundry room. We were very pleased with the accommodations and will return.

Water sprinkler came on and messed up car. Could not get out of front door to load car. Was 8:15 am. Don’t agree with stripping bed. Paid $ for cleaning and wanted us to do cleaning. Several vases in bedroom was dusty

We were in town to visit family in Kerrville. We found the home to be updated beautifully and clean. Three bathrooms were such a plus.

We stayed a little over two weeks at the property when our granddaughter was born. This was our second time to book this home. It is so comfortable and close to everything we need. We feel at home there and will return.

We had our girls trip to the area and stayed at the Cottage for four days. It was so clean and comfortable, and we found some little homey touches that we were't expecting. The best surprise was that the listing said that the bedrooms had a King, Queen, and Twin bed. They actually had a King and two Queen beds, so nobody had to cram into a twin. The instructions for check in and out were sent to me ahead of time as well as left out in the house for us to follow easily. The neighborhood was quet and peaceful, but it got a little tricky during school release hours, as there is a school close by and the traffic pattern and speed changes. We were conveniently located within a half hour of all of the places we wanted to see (Bandera, Fredericksburg, San Marcos), and we even found a little pub down the street with friendly people to meet and enjoy the nightlife with . Overall, we all made plans to come back again, and maybe even bring our hubbies.....

My 2 daughters and I stayed here for a girls’ weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! We LOVED the fact that we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The convenience of Fredericksburg only being a quick 20 min drive was also wonderful! House was clean and comfortable, and we felt safe during our stay! Would 10/10 stay here again!!!

I was quite pleased with how comfortable this house was. It is very roomy, especially the main bedroom even with the king size bed, a large dresser of drawers with a big screen tv, a closet, and two sitting chairs in it! There are two other rooms where one can sit and read (the living room which has a big screen tv and a separate room). The two back bedrooms each have their own bathrooms. The backyard is quite private. The neighborhood was very quiet. If you enjoy walking, this is a nice neighborhood to walk. One mile down the road is the Trailhead Beer Garden (a must visit) and the trailhead for the river trail. Lots of deer in the neighborhood, too!
There were supposed to be three of us staying there for the Texas Woodcarvers Guild week but I was the only one able to make it. Next year we’ll all be there at this house.

My husband and I reserved the Pickled Pepper Cottage for us and friends to stay in Kerrville for the 2024 total solar eclipse. We very much appreciated that the host, Niki, was charging regular rates for the house during the eclipse time when almost every other place to stay had raised rates to exorbitant levels. That alone is reason enough to recommend a stay here in my opinion. It says a lot about the fair and welcoming service Niki provides to her guests. However, due to the cloudy weather that unfortunately engulfed the Kerrville area for eclipse day, we decided to cancel last minute and drive to clearer skies in Arkansas. We knew we would not get any refund since the cancellation and refund policies were clearly laid out when we booked - which I appreciated knowing in advance. What I didn't expect was Niki's gracious replies to our cancellation and offer of a discount should we decide to book again in the future. She even offered to keep our reservation open in case we wanted to use any of our booked days after the eclipse. I was floored by the kindness. We weren't able to make it for our stay, but I highly recommend booking with Niki for the friendly and thoughtful service alone. Thanks so much Niki!

We enjoyed the comforts of the cottage. It’s very nicely furnished. Niki was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The furnace is a bit loud, but everything else was great.

My husband and I had a nice quiet get away after all the holiday hustle. The house was very clean and quaint, just didn’t realize it was in a neighborhood.

My family came to Kerrville for a wedding. This was a great place for us to stay. Very updated and lovely decor. Comfortable beds, nice showers, and plenty of room. Great communication with owner ahead of time and absolutely no issues with our stay. Highly recommend!

The place was beautiful and accurately described. Every morning there were deer out front to greet us. Beautiful area and will definitely be staying here again in the future when I’m in the area.

The house was very nice. Beds were great. So very cute inside and out. For sure not a place for little ones. The only thing we all complained about was having to remove the bedding. We all felt like that should be part of house cleaning fee.

Beautiful cottage. Easy location to everything we did. Saw deer in the neighborhood every day. Would love to stay here again sometime.

Nice remodeled house. Mattresses in Master and guest bedroom are too soft. Great kitchen living room. Master bedroom is remodeled garage with high ceilings, very spacious. Excellent location for in-City. I lost the key on the first night! Property owner was there in 15 minutes with replacement. Ms. Niki is very nice person and easy to work with. Would go back.
