We chose this property because of its proximity to the SFO airport and Stanford for graduation weekend. We knew we wouldn't be spending much time at the property - we just needed enough beds for grandparents and other family members. We also liked that there are very few steps leading up to the house which was important for one grandparent in particular. The house was clean and fresh when we arrived. It wasn't stocked with paper products, but after a quick text exchange a shipment of products arrived via Doordash. Really appreciated how fast it got handled. While the neighborhood isn't fancy, it didn't feel unsafe. There's lots of families around. And chickens. Be ready for the rooster crowing at 3:30 am! But after the first night everyone slept through it. Definitely some random fireworks going off each night, too. Overall, we were really happy with our stay and that we could all be together as a family. We saved money on hotel rooms, and were able to take care of everyone who made the big trip out for our daughter's graduation.

Clean and stylish home. Great for 4 guys to watch football and drive to the coast. Some surrounding homes are not so polished with chickens, cars, and even a boisterous rooster that rises before the sun. Comfortable bedding and adequate kitchen. Suggest adding another couch and/ or dinning table inside and BBQ with chairs outside. Too bad the basketball hoop wasn't usable. Thank you for fast response by manager for wifi code. Loved the trip!

I drove up with the house completely gated off with the large sliding gate completely shut appearing locked. The street was completely packed in with cars on both sides allowing only for a one car lane so impossible to enter without leaving your car in the street. Considering such a bad neighborhood it seemed a high risk to block the street to try to open a large closed gate even with a reservation. I feared it could be an accidental trespassing tragedy waiting to happen. I left. The management team was no help even though they were at fault. The gate should have been been wide open or it should have been mentioned opening a gate was ok in the arrival instructions. They said I should have known because there was a picture of the gate online. There was not a picture at the time i booked or at the time of this post. Only a nice wood gate and not a big sliding gate clearly meant to keep people out. They must fear people in such an unkept neighborhood for some reason. Maybe the Keep out, No dumping, Beware of Dogs etc signs posted across the street along with the abandoned junk everywhere made them worry. They kept that big gate closed for a reason. They did not make any effort to work with me and charged way more for host fee, management fee, cleaning fees vs other VRBOs so the quality of oversight is pretty much an indication of what to expect. I only write this so no one wastes time or money only to be so disappointed. Go somewhere else or regret booking once you get there.
