Sehr angenehmes Hotel in Engelberg

Tolle Lage, äusserst freundliches Personal und ein ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbuffet.

Très sympas mais trop cher

Très sympas!! Le buffet le matin pour le petit déjeuner super

Le prix pour la chambre est trop haut!!ni tu ni frigo !très simple mais trop cher 150 par nuit est vraiment trop cher!

Superb

Simple and rustic, comfortable single bed, exceptionally clean. Very friendly staff and great breakfast. No sound isolation, so can her neigbouring rooms, but quiet hours were respected, so was very quiet overnight. Great choice if travelling on a tight budget and happy to use shared bathroom facilities.

Neither of us slept well. Beds weren't the most comfortable. They also weren't made for tall people.

Very nice and helpful staff, rich and tasty breakfast, satisfying room.

Here and there just a little bit needed one more touch of cleaning.

I enjoyed my stay a lot

The staff at reception were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The building is quite old and the hostel part in which I stayed could need some renovation. But the room was quite big, the bed was comfortable, there was a desk, a washing basin in the room, wifi was excellent and everything worked. There was always a bathroom or a toilet in the hallway available. There is a lift and a tea buffet to get a cup of tea whenever you want one. I love that! Breakfast was great as well. I enjoyed my stay a lot and will definitely come again!

The building is quite old and there is a lot of worn-down carpets everywhere, not everyone's cup of tea. The only thing I missed was some good blinds to darken the room during the night, there was only one curtain. Also, there was a bit of noise from the rooms around when it was time to sleep. But nothing dramatic.

By Swiss standards it was relatively cheap and was ok for the money.

Very good Swiss style breakfast.

The room was pretty tired, and noise from other rooms and doors was noticeable.

Wonderful place to stay.

Hostel Engelberg was a great place to stay with kids. Great breakfast, great restaurant downstairs, great view of the mountains when you can see them through the clouds. Could not be more central. The owners are so friendly you could not ask for a better stay. Price to value of Hostel Engelberg cannot be beat in Switzerland - at least the parts that I have seen.

It was a good relaxing stay and the hostel staff were also nice and friendly

The property was easily reachable from the main station and the breakfast they served was also good

there was only one WC for the floor

Can hear neighbors between rooms a bit in the walls between rooms, but no major complaints overall.

Superb

Good value for the money if you just want a private room to spend some nights while skiing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is excellent with local products.
