Amazing hosts, great location and a spacious clean apartment

The location was very convenient especially being not too far from the airport as we had an early morning flight. The hosts, Thomas and Farerau were very accommodating, prompt in responding via email and messages and very kind to have dropped us at the nearest shopping mall and pick us again.

Convenient base near the airport!

We used it as a base for one night because it's 5 minutes from the airport, and it was perfect. Super comfortable, and the host was super friendly.

There are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby, but he offered to take us to the supermarket, wait for us, and bring us back.

Great location, private and secure apartment building. Room was clean and the air conditioning units are a bonus for people who aren’t used to the warm weather. Host is a great communicator. Enjoyed our stay.

We had a brief 1 night stay here before flying home, an ideal base for us, really comfortable and very well equipped place to stay. Requires a taxi / car to get around. Host's are easily contactable, friendly and helpful with suggestions. Would recommend to anyone :)

We would highly recommend staying here. Our host, Thomas was simply brilliant and so hospitable. The apartment is immaculate and beautiful with a fantastic balcony, air conditioning and fully equipped kitchen. The pool is amazing with excellent views and a great gym with machines and free weights. Secure and quiet surroundings. 5 mins from the airport and a short drive to the town centre. Thanks Thomas!

Very clean and well stocked kitchen

Unit was spotless, and the kitchen was very well stocked. And the host was very friendly and nice.

Check-in was a pain, considering the number of keys and codes needed (especially since one of the codes wasn't sent to us prior to our trip, and we didn't have cell service in Tahiti). Location is not walkable to anything - car is required.

Very good view of the ocean from the swimming pool area. Safe place. Must know a little French tho! 😜. Otherwise amazing place for vacations . Bravo!

Great apartment with a view

Great hosts - they met us at the airport (we arranged for the pick up) and showed us around the place. The apartment is quite big, with AC in each room. Nice decor, everything needed in the kitchen, huge balcony. Unfortunately, we could not see the view since it was too late when we arrived and too early when we left next morning The beds are comfortable, all the needed amenities in the bathroom. This is a 2nd floor in a 3 story large apartment building with elevator. about 4 minute drive from the airport Overall, very pleasant experience.

I don't think you can stay there without a car, or use a taxi regularly.

Relaxing and comfortable

The apartment is exactly as described - spacious, comfortable, well equipped and quiet. It is super clean and well decorated and it has a wonderful balcony. The wi-fi was readily available and good. The location feels very safe. The owners/hosts are friendly and truly helpful. When booking, all our messages concerning the stay were promptly and efficiently answered. The owner kindly agreed to provide for transportation from/to the airport and this worked very well - no strain upon arrival, no stress upon departure. We also got precious practical help in booking for transportation and useful/well informed advice and recommendations.

Close location to the airport. Owners met us in town when our cell service wasn't working and we couldn't retrieve the address. We were able to follow them to the apartment. They went above and beyond to help us out!

The apartment exceeded our expectations.

The host and hostess greeted us and helped us get to the airport. The accommodations were beautiful and clean. The host was kind enough to practice french with my son and drive us to the airport. Would recommend.

5* hotel apartment

You can have a checklist for a 5* hotel and all boxes would be checked. I traveled extensively and usually I try to avoid these types of owner accommodations over hotels because of the fact that each owner understands comfort and cleanliness differently. In Papeete I tried one year ago fare arearea sweet studio...and regretted as cleanliness was obviously understood differently by the Chinese owner. Not the case here. Owner is friendly and professional, and the place.... You could see it was not 'made' for renting. It has everything that you would need for a 1 night or 1 month stay. White towels in the bathroom, toiletries (like in hotels), impeccably-professionally clean, expensive sheets, expensive mattress (everyone is trying to save on the mattress, not the case here). Greeted with flowers, fresh flowers and fruits in the apartment, nice smell, huge place, private parking, great location at 8 minutes from the airport, great view out of the window and magnificent view over Papeete from the rooftop pool. So, long story short, they do not seem to do this for money but only as a way to recover some costs that they pay for this apartment. Will stay there for sure, no doubt about it. Just one word of advice: you will need to rent a car, fortunately they are not expensive at all in Papeete. They can help you with a (paying) transfer but you'll kind of be stuck at the location.
