Villa Verandah is situated in the western part of the island Ciovo in the cove abundant in pebble/sandy and rocky beaches called Saldun, which offers a great deal of sport activities. Surrounded by rich Mediterranean flora, it is located on the very coast, less then a kilometer from Trogir.
The house consists of:
• 6 bedrooms (4 double beds, 4 single beds) – 12 sleeps + 3 extra beds, baby cot
• 2 living rooms (TV/SAT, WiFi internet, DVD player, stereo)

The Villa is outstanding
The location is outstanding
The hosts , Toni and Ina ,are outstanding
The villa is much bigger than it looks in the photos..There is enough privacy for those who want it . Plenty of shade and sun beds around the pool. Air conditioning in all the apartments. A modern ,well equipped kitchen,with a fabulous outdoor dining area .
It also has an ice machine that was very popular given the hot weather.
We decided against trying the pizza oven as it was far too hot
There is even a paddle board there.
The location is unbelievable. No need for a car. Just 1 minute walk to the beach and a further 8 minute stroll to the famous Okrug beach with its restaurants and facilities
There is a small supermarket 1 minute away and a slightly bigger one a further 5 minutes .
The ferry to Trogir is just 2 minutes away. We loved the ferry .It runs every 30 mins ,takes about 20 mins and costs just 5 euros each way.
There is a steep slope from the villa down to the road but it’s only about 30 meters long. After that everything is flat.
However please note that the pavements are not good or non existent. The beaches are shale so take beach shoes and some places still take cash only. Eg the restaurant at the bottom of the slope and the bakery at the nearby campsite. Both supermarkets stock most things including bread etc.
Trogir old town is wonderful and full of good restaurants. There is also a large market there.
We also took a taxi to Split which took 40 minutes.

Toni’s villa is fantastic :)
It was in a great location . About a 20 min walk to the old town and so close the the beach as well . There is a mini market 2 mins walk away as well .
The villa itself was spotless, so well equipped . Every detail thought off .
Toni was more than happy to allow an early checkin for our daughter which was amazing and a rare . Thankyou for this . It made all the difference to them .
The pizza oven was so much fun . My favourite was the outdoor/ indoor dining area . A fantastic area to relax in the evening .
I would highly recommend to family’s or a group of friends .

The house is perfect for groups that want some privacy as we who was grandparents, parents and grandchildren. Each family had it’s own apartment but at the same time the great common kitchen and living area. Nice pool in combination with about 100 meters to the beach will fit for all.

We had an excellent stay at Villa Verandah. Toni gave us a warm welcome with complimentary tapas and cold drinks, which was very appreciated after the flight from Norway.
We were a party of 13 people (3 families), and the villa turned out to be just perfect for us. Every family had their own space, and there were also a big outdoor kitchen-area and the pool area where all of us could be together during the day. Very nice and clean villa with a beautiful outside area.
The villa is very close to the nearest beach and a small grocery store. It is just a 20min walk to beautiful Trogir center with all it has to offer of shops and restaurants.
Toni was very helpful during our stay, and the communication with him during our 2 week stay was very good.
All in all we strongly recommend Toni’s Villa Verandah and we would not hesitate to comeback back another year.

We absolutely loved Toni's villa near Trogir. It is perfect for a large family gathering.
Toni our host was very quick to respond to my messages before and during our 14 day stay. He was super helpful, and even managed to organise some tickets for 3 of us to see Hadjuk Split play on the 1st Saturday, which we enjoyed very much.
On arrival we had a lovely platter of local meats and cheeses, plus some cold drinks. Very Welcome :)
The Villa itself is very comfortable which separate apartments that allow a large gathering to have some personal space as well. Air conditioning throughout. The garden area is also beautifully landscaped and thoughtfully laid out. The pool is a good size for cooling down and lots of seating around for relaxing and reading.
Location in relation to Trogir is ideal close enough to walk to Trogir itself (over the hill if you are fit !) or take the little Rozac ferry which is great fun and interesting. The villa is on the border between Trogir and Okrug. We were there at the end of the season, so some of the beach restaurants were closing for the year but there were plenty still open and all great with friendly staff. Weather was superb 23C for all our stay. The restaurant at the Campsite also recommended 5 minutes walk from the Villa. There are a couple of local supermarkets that are walking distance.
One of the big highlights is the outside kitchen with the wood burning Pizza oven, two of our party were very excited to use this and we had some of the best pizzas I've experienced. There is also an outside barbecue which we also loved.
Toni also said he would be upgrading this kitchen which would be great.
Our whole family had a fantastic holiday, Lovely Villa, great location, super helpful host, great weather, Fantastic country - can't wait to return to Croatia.

The villa was perfect for a big family get together and had everything we needed for a great stay. It was very handy that the rooms were like self contained apartments which meant each family had their own space and the pool area and kitchen were ideal social spaces.
The location was fantastic with sea views and only a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants.
Communication before we arrived and during our stay was very good and helped us make the most of the week.

Fantastic villa for large group with teenagers
Such a lovely villa with everything you need to ensure a home from home experience . Space for teenagers , Toni the host helping with how to use the pizza oven , a pool big enough for all day fun . The beach on your doorstep with lots of water activities to keep the family occupied . Thanks Toni :)

Great stay at Villa Verandah! Many separate rooms with kitchens, clean and spacious pool and outdoor area including sunbeds and parasols. The large outdoor kitchen was amazing with all you need, utensils, pizza oven, barbecue area and a large table to gather everybody. Overall clean, fresch, easy to use and a very pretty place with view over the sea.
Toni was a great host who helped with questions, pickup and other activities such as boat trip and a delicious Croatian dinner for 11 people.
Toni and Villa Verandah made our week even more incredible. We definitely recommend a stay here!

The villa exceeded our expectations and made our holiday perfect! The location is great, close to the beach, a 15-20 min walk to old town, a little supermarket only a few minutes away. We spent a lot of time by the pool area.
Toni was a fantastic host, helped us with transfer to and from the airport, met us and showed us around upon arrival, sent us tips on the pizza oven. He answered any questions within minutes.
Really recommend Toni’s villa and hope to go back soon!

Summer Vacation in Trogir
We had a wonderful time! The home was perfect for the 11 of us (9 adults and two kids) . We wer encouraged by the host Toni to use the pizza oven and the fire place and had two wonderful meals! He even translated the family pizza dough recipe for us. The location of the home is perfect with a beach down the hill and town a short walk away. And while it was hot, we spent a lot of time by the pool which was fantastic! Overall it was a dream vacation for all of us! Thank you Toni.

Lovely and clean house
We spend one week at house Verandah and celebrated my 60th anniversary there. The house is very clean, situated at peaceful place and has four apartments what was just the right size for our group. The heated pool was very nice. Host Toni is very helpful. He solved our little problems quickly. We highly recommed this house.

Brilliant holiday
Had a really fantastic week in the house. The weather on the second night was freezing and I text the owner if there was a heater for the kitchen and the next minute the man who lived next door dropped one in. The owner and his sister who waited for us to arrive were incredibly friendly and beyond helpful anyone who stays here will really enjoy themselves.

A beautiful villa in a fabulous location for exploring Trogir
The villa had everything we could have needed and the setup of self-contained apartments worked perfectly for our group. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped with comfy beds. There’s a fabulous main kitchen and outdoor eating area. For those who want to cook there was a pizza oven and a lovely barbecue. The pool area is a perfect size with comfy sun beds. Lots of lovely olive trees and plants give shade if needed. The view of the sea is lovely with beautiful sunsets. It’s a 15 minute walk into Trogir which has loads of great cafes and an amazing market. Or you can get the boat taxi which is fun. Closer to the villa are other bars and restaurants and a few beaches. Would thoroughly recommend the property for groups and families. The hosts were great with lots of info and good communication prior to arrival. They arranged transfers to and from the airport too. Croatia is beautiful and will definitely be heading back!

Fantastic property in a a conveniant location.
We had an overall splendid visit in Okrug. The housepwner Toni was welcoming and ready to help out!
The house is very newly renovated. It consists of 4 miniapartments with kitchenates. Great poolarea with nice relaxing chairs.
There is a fabulous kitchen and eating area with barbecue and grill where we spent most of the evenings.
Good restaurants we visited were Frankies TRS and Mali Raj.
Trogir is in walking distance. A nice city.

A wonderful week in an exceptional property
We booked this villa for a big family get-together/reunion, as such there was a mixed group consisting of singles, couples, teenagers, toddlers and babies. The villa was absolutely perfect for our needs. The location was excellent, close enough to all amenities but set back to allow privacy and peace. There was plenty of space for such a large group to dine and socialise together, whilst being able to retire to our own personal space when needed. The rooms were all spacious, clean and well appointed. The summer kitchen and communal dining space was beautiful and had everything we could have needed for our stay.
The little ones in our group loved the play area with playhouse and trampoline and the new pool was fantastic.
Toni, our host, was most welcoming and gave us lots of useful information about travel on and around the island (including a much needed short-cut to avoid traffic), excursions etc. In addition, Toni was incredibly helpful when we needed help with a couple of minor medical incidents. Through all correspondence with him, we always got the impression that nothing was too much trouble. This only served to make our time at this beautiful villa even more enjoyable. Thank you so much Toni and family... We'll be back!

fantastic place -the pool area is awesome
We were 14 People, no problem in this house - the pool area is great for all, with warm water shower and elegant finish all over. The sunbeds are new and nice looking, you can tell that Toni takes care of this property. Small grocery shop is closeby, so you get pretty much everything you need within a 3min walk. We ended up using the great wood fired pizza oven and outside barbeque for a lot of our meals. The large main kitchen has lots of utilities. Also Toni helped us charter a boat for the group who picked us up close to Villa Verandah, had a great day snorkeling. All of us want to go back –thanks Toni!

Beautiful villa with heated pool
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful villa! We spent one week here in the end of May and the new heated pool just made the stay perfect for this time of the year. We were a total of 11 persons, ranging from 2 to 87 years and the villa suited us very well with four separate "apartments" so that we could be together and alone when we wanted. The location was great with walking distance to the old town of Trogir and the beach. It was clean and so well taken care of with a beautiful garden with flowers and toys for the children. We really enjoyed the well-equipped summer kitchen with the pizza oven and everything. For the children the heated pool was the best thing and they just stayed in the water all day. It was nice with an outdoor shower (with warm water also), sunbeds and everything you need. We would like to recommend this villa for families traveling together or groups of friends who are looking for a great stay in lovely Croatia!

Great Villa in a Fantastic Location
We stayed at Villa Verandah for a week and it couldn't have been better. There were 6 of us in the party, but the house could comfortably have accommodated more. Although it's one property, it's split up into separate self-contained units so people can have their own space whilst still having lots of great communal space to get together. Everything was very clean and the villa is really well equipped. Toni, the owner, was really responsive and helpful with all the queries we had before we travelled and there were also a couple of very minor issues while we were there that were both dealt with on the same day.
The centre of Trogir is about a 15 minute walk away, although it is quite a stiff walk as you have to walk up and down a steep hill, so it's the same in both directions. If you don't want to do that, you can easily get to Trogir by taxi or a short boat ride. In the other direction, you can walk to Okrug Gornji along a very pleasant promenade which is lined with beach bars and has a couple of nice restaurants at the end. There are also plenty of good restaurants in Trogir itself if you don't want to cook.
In short, this is a great place to stay in a really nice area to be in. Highly recommended.

Great Villa - perfect Equipment
The House is more than beautyfull. All rooms are nicely done with some really cool details. The verandah and the kitchen with the Pizza oven is inviting to create the best pizza You can imagine. We used it nearly every evening! So there was no Need to go out for a dinner. The supermarket is very close Max. 70m. To get a fresh swim the sea is so close, that you only need a towel and that s it. The Outdoor shower at the House is great after we went to swim. The owner is great too. Thank you once more for that nice stay.

Beautiful well equipped villa with great service!
Our stay in this villa was great. We were a company of thirteen girls and the villa was just perfect for us. Everything was really clean. There were separate rooms with their own little kitchens and living rooms, as well as one big shared open kitchen and living room. The beds were good. The garden is big, there is plenty of room for thirteen. Kitchen is well equipped and there is a pizza oven and an build in barbecue. The sea is only a few meters down the hill. There is a little rocky beach, which is great for a refreshing swim. A five minute walk brings you to the great lively beach of Okrug. The lovely centre of Trogir is walking distance (app. 15 min). All in all, the villa was fantastic, the environment is lively and we had a great time. We would surely come back.

A lovely, spacious property in a great location
We spent a week in Toni's property and had a great holiday. He is extremely obliging and helpful and made sure our arrival went smoothly. He was available to answer queries both before and during the holiday, which helped make for a stress-free experience. The villa is lovely, especially the 'outdoor' kitchen area. This is where we spent most of our time, but because of the villa's size and layout it is easy to find some quiet space if you're in a big group (we were in the upstairs bedroom which has a lovely, spacious balcony and I sometimes read up there, with views of the sea). The landscaping is also great with a range of vines, trees and Mediterranean plants. Even better, it has a barbecue and wood-fired pizza oven, which was great fun to use.
The nearest beach is about 50 metres away and has a nice, restaurant which we ate at several times. There is also a good shop nearby which opened all day and had enough for daily needs. Early morning swims especially lovely! Trogir and Split are gorgeous. Trogir can be reached in 15-20 minutes and has great markets that open from 7.00. We also took the boat to Split - just under an hour - and preferable to going by road, which gets quite busy. All in all a perfect location for a large party (we were 10). We would definitely go again.

Wonderful villa!
The villa was fantastic! We had a wonderful holiday and Toni, the owner couldn't do enough for us. They even put on an amazing 'Croatian night' for us with delicious fresh fish, homegrown produce and traditional music. It was a really fabulous holiday which adults and children all thoroughly enjoyed. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation! Thank you Toni for our amazing holiday!

Perfect house for families or groups
We had a perfect stay at the villa. The house had everything we needed. Lots of space, separate apartments for different families and a wonderful common outdoor kitchen for long nights together. The owner, Toni was the friendlyness himself fixing everything we could possibly need. The Beach was just down the road cross the street where we enjoyed the crystal clear waters. Trogir has a bit of a traffic problem though. But Trogir city centre can be reached by walking 15 minutes.

A very nice, clean, child-safe and beautiful villa
We arrived on a rainy Saturday morning to the beautifully located and beautiful Villa Verandah. We were glad to find the gate to close and the walls surrounding the villa as we had 7 children aged from 7 months to 11 years with us. The house was as described, and the terrace with the summer citchen was even nicer than we thought. And the view to the sea!!! All rooms were very clean and beautifully furnished. The kitchen included all necessary cutlery, dishes etc. for us 13 persons to cook and eat at our own terrace. Extra points we would like to give to our host, Tony who had answered all our questions so fast and precisely before we arrived to Croatia and who was there to meat us and show the house when we arrived. He also arrived promptly as agreed on 6.45 am on the last day to get the keys. We certainly enjoyed this holiday in Trogir and recommend Trogir and Villa Verandah! Just don´t rent the villa when we will come again! ;)

Very good service by the owner. We would recommend your property to friends. We are even planning to come back next year. We missed 10 wineglasses in the same size in the kitchen(not a very big problem). Two of the Girls were a Little Cold in one of the rooms(at ground floor).Best regards
