Choose elsewhere if possible
The host was genuinely a very nice man. He tried to make us feel comfortable, welcome, and helpful. The included breakfast at the nearby restaurant was very tasty. The room was large and actually very clean (despite its disrepair).
The room was very old. Moldy tile above the bed starting to fall down, sheer curtains so that you could see right through, the shower did not work (only a trickle of water), a very dirty door, and extremely lumpy pillows. Unfortunately, this part of the overall experience really detracted from the good. I do feel bad for saying these things, but I think that consumers should know before booking what they are getting into.

Algo que se podría mejorar es el ruido por las noches. Entiendo que es una zona de playa y relajada, pero los huéspedes de las demás habitaciones hicieron ruido toda la noche

Exceptional
Pretty garden with a mango tree and a great and clean pool. Friendly staff, wifi, possible to use kitchen. Delicious local breakfast at a cafe on the corner. Close to the beach. Definitely recommended for families.

COMFORTABLE, HAPPY PLACE TO STAY WITH A NICE COOL POOL.
JENNY WAS AN EXCELLENT HOST! ALWAYS SMILING AND CHEERFUL. BREAKFAST AT HER FRIENDS, CHINA, CAFE TORTUGA WAS MUY SABROSO. THE POOL AND POOL AREA IS DEVINE. SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH WHERE EVERYONE IS HAVING FUN.
WE DID NOT LIKE THAT WE HAD TO LEAVE OUR VACATION SHORT OR WE WOULD HAVE STAYED FOR MORE DAYS.

Disappointing
Location very close to beach. Hosts very friendly.
We had hoped for a quiet evening in the garden by the pool, but there was a birthday party with plenty of people in the pool area and patio and we felt like intruders in a home. There was noise in the kitchen till late at night. Breakfast is in the family restaurant across the road but there was no room on the terrace, so we decided to walk further for a beach breakfast. The light and noise from outside came into the room and the Aircon was very noisy. There was no hot water in the shower.

- Would have liked more utensils in the kitchen but apparently previous guests took them away - payment by credit card unavailable - the house needs tlc
