About this cabin rental
Nestled in the heart of Colorado's #1 hidden gem mountain town, Buffalo Sunrise Lodge will provide you with all the Colorado's mountains have to offer. As an entire private main level of a triplex cabin you will be steps away breath taking hikes, amazing views, and the small town atmosphere of Green Mountain Falls, Co. This BnB features two bedrooms, two baths, full kitchen, a spacious living room with vaulted ceilings and a large wrap around deck.
Your space is one of three private apartments in our cabin, and is separate from the two downstairs apartments. NO central air conditioning in the unit, as is typical in the mountains. A window unit is provided during the summer months for the the living room. Please open the windows and enjoy the cool evening air to help cool down the home. You will probably be able to hear the guests moving about downstairs, but we do ask that all of our guests be considerate of those who stay in the other apartments. Within your apartment there are two bedrooms with a very comfortable king bed in the master and twin over full bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom. The master bedroom has its own bathroom with jet tub. There is a second full bathroom off the living room. The spacious living room comes with a pull out couch and kitchen with big windows overlooking beautiful Green Mountain Falls. The patio area is a wrap-around deck where you will have your own propane grill to use while you enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife of Green Mountain Falls. The space has a Fire TV that includes a variety of streaming services. Feel free to log into your favorite streaming services during your stay. We ask that all smoking be done away from the property. Absolutely no smoking inside or outside of the home. (Fireplace in the living room is out of order as of right now and is pending repairs)
Guest are provided with their own parking area where one car can park. There is a parking sign with the name of your cabin on it ("Buffalo Sunrise"). Please be considerate of the other guests and leave room for 2 other cars to fit in the parking area. If a second vehicle needs parking there is public parking down the hill by the lake. It takes 3 1/2 min to walk back up to the cabin. Please do not park on the street.
DreamBnB is here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival. We ask that all guests respect each other's privacy unless interaction is welcome!
Green Mountain Falls is one of the neatest mountain towns in Colorado. It offers great hikes (Thomas, Catamount, and Crystal Falls Trail Heads), Unique eats (The Pantry and the Blue Moose Tavern), shopping, and the Green Mountain Falls Pond; all a few minutes walk from this BnB.
You will have one dedicated spot for parking. The town of Green Mountain Falls has public parking. We recommend that guest have a 4WD/AWD vehicle in winter/snowy months (November-May) Please not parking on the street.
Dog Friendly - One well behaved dog is welcome but we ask that they stay off the furniture and bedding. Consider the guests around you and take your pet with you if they bark/whine when you leave them.

NO smoking or vaping inside the apartment (smoking fees along with damage fees may occur if the home smells of smoke)
Cleaning Fee is set by the Cleaning Pro that we contract with. They are trained, experienced, and go through the AirBnb 5 Step enhanced cleaning process which includes disinfecting high traffic/touch areas (remote controls, light switches, rails, etc.)
The town of Green Mountain Falls charges tax for all short term rentals $4.50/night.
1 night = $4.50
2 nights = $9.00
3 nights = $13.50
and so on. This city tax will be added to the guest charges.
Travel insurance is recommended in case the unexpected happens.
For stays longer than 30 nights we do require a lease agreement, background check, copy of drivers license, and a one time insurance fee to be paid before your arrival. For stays 30-59 nights it will be $370 and each additional 30 night block of your stay will be an additional $130

Pet Policy:

-NO CATS ALLOWED
No Smoking Please
-Damages will be incurred if found that there has been smoking
-This home is NOT 420 Friendly
-All smoking must be done away from the house either in the driveway by your vehicle or on the street
Quiet Hours are from 9pm to 8am. No more than the authorized # of guests at the house during quiet hours.
No disruptive events or parties. Airbnb guidelines state that if a guest is reported for a disruptive party or violating Airbnb's party and events policy, they may be subject to suspension or removal from the Airbnb Platform. In addition, the host may also ask that you vacate the property and no refund will be given.
Fee schedule for violating house rules:
-Unauthorized late check-out: $50 immediately, $50 for every 30 minutes after checkout (i.e. +$100 at 30 min after checkout, $150 at an hour after checkout).
-Smoking in the house or in an area where it can drift inside: $250-$500
-Unauthorized Parties or events: $250
-Additional guests beyond what was approved when booking: $35 per guest, per day
-Pet cleaning fee (if pet uses the bathroom in the house, or has excessive shedding, etc.): $100-$300
-Deep clean fee, if required (i.e. vomit, carpet stain, bodily fluids, or excessive trash, etc.): $100-$250
-Broken/damaged items: charged at replacement value

Easy to access all the hotspots- Pikes peak, Garden of the Gods, Cripple Creek etc. Cabin cute. Had a great time.

Stayed here for a week in mid-May while looking for houses to relocate to the area. Perfectly peaceful and quiet and the accommodations were outstanding. Views from the living room were awesome and deer hung out in the backyard daily. Even had a bear nosing around the side of the cabin at night. Location is perfect - close enough to Woodland Park and Colorado Springs to enjoy their amenities but far enough away from the bustle. Close to many trails for hiking. The only downside, other than having to leave, is the driveway is a bit steep, especially when wet or covered with snow. Loved every minute of the stay and would definitely recommend to others if they're coming to the area.

My husband and I booked this rental for our anniversary and we’re so happy with our experience. The cabin looked exactly like the photos, the space was clean, and the location was very quiet. It was great having a few restaurants nearby for the nights we didn’t want to cook and the adjacent towns had wonderful shopping. Thank you for making our stay so easy!

Small, quiet, peaceful community situated within mountain valley, so you’re surrounded by beautiful mountain sides. You’re within walking distance to the very small town square below which has a couple of restaurants for breakfast & evening dining (both a bit pricey, but good food) & a cool tavern that we went to a couple of times in the evening & hung out w/some very friendly locals. Beautiful area to explore the outdoors, w/deer & bunnies casually hanging out within touching distance. Lot of snow on the ground to play in (in December). Bear in mind the area is hill-y in parts, with melting snow & ice in areas. The lodge driveway is also on a small slope that was iced over, so we had to clear it & pull in and out carefully. The owner fortunately provides you a shovel & bucket of ice-melt salt, conveniently on the porch, to aid you. The lodge itself was very comfortable & quaint. Perfect for a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teenagers). You had everything you needed, from kitchen to dining table, to TV’s, a comfortable couch w/blankets to snuggle in, and a beautiful wrap-around deck. The giant living room windows looking out to the area was fantastic. A really pleasant lodge for a holiday trip (even had its own Christmas tree!). Note, the deck sliding doors did not lock, but there were posts placed on track to keep anyone from opening from the outside. Recommend to visit Manitou Springs (10-min drive down the rd). Hallmark town w/lots of shops/eateries/entertainment.

Very clean had everything but food we all was very impressed with everything that came w the cabin including the outstanding view of the mountains and surrounding areas and don’t forget we saw family of deer within touching distance how cool is that the host was very friendly and helpful 👍👍👍🙏🙏 prasise God for everyone who helped us out looking for a return trip longer stay perhaps 👍👍👍😃😃😃😇😇

Great location. Good for small family but not for 2 couples. Serious parking issues. Lack of basic kitchen essentials, bring everything you’re going to need from condiments to pantry. Carpet and furniture stained and worn. Place has potential but needs serious updating.

Everything was good and good location. Best breakfast in Colorado within 500ft. The only issues was construction noise in the evening in the unit below.

Property was as advertised and clean. The location was perfectly located for our adventures around the CS/Pikes Peak area. The deck was great for sitting and relaxing (stargazing was incredible),the large Weber gas grill was a nice perk. Kitchen stocked with everything you could need for a short or extended stay. We will definitely stay here again when back in the area.

We loved the cabin and decor. Comfy beds and well equipped. The location was very convenient for all the activities we wanted to do. It was quiet and peaceful with deer, rabbits and chipmunks in the yard. I would recommend this cabin for anyone visiting the area.
