Vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and scenic views highlight the open concept main level. Bright and cheery, you won’t hesitate to take a seat in the great room where you can watch TV and relax.
The well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to treat your crew to a home-cooked meal. There is lots of space to prep your food on the center island, and you will love the convenience of the separate coffee station. Gather at the dining table to for good food and great conversation. When you the dishes are cleared, you can break out the board games.
All the sleeping quarters are outfitted with queen beds that promise a good night’s sleep. The main level primary suite provides privacy, and there are two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs.
Downstairs, the family room has ample seating gives everyone a spot to relax, or you can join in a game of pool. Bring your own projector, and watch a favorite movie on the pull-down screen.
Outside, you have two levels of decks where you can soak up the sunshine or kick back in the shade. The large grassy lawn is sloping but has plenty of room for the kids to run and play.
Community access to the lake is within about .25 miles. The path that leads to the dock is sloping. Take advantage of your boat slip and cruise Deep Creek’s miles of shoreline. You can stop to go swimming and fishing or visit a restaurant where you can “dock and dine” for lunch.
When you head out to explore the area, you will find lots of attractions and restaurants close by. Captain’s Cove is five miles – or less – from restaurants, shops, and marinas.
Area state parks are a “must-do” with fun recreation and beautiful scenery. Drive less than ten minutes to experience Deep Creek Lake State Park. It is has something for every member of your group. The sandy beach is a great swimming area, kayak and canoe rentals are available, there are several playgrounds, and the Discovery Center has an aviary and lots of nature exhibits. You will also want to stop by Swallow Falls State Park. It has easy to moderate hiking trails and three breathtaking waterfalls.
Year-round fun is Wisp Resort’s claim to fame! Skiing, golf, snow tubing, ziplines, and a mountain coaster are just a few of the ways they’ll keep you entertained. For a truly unique experience, take a guided white water rafting trip on their manmade, mountaintop river.
