About this cabin rental
Welcome to the eagles' nest log cabin nestled in the heart of the Laurel Highlands. This nest is the smaller of the two cabins on the property.
This beautiful newly renovated cabin is surrounded by woods and backed by a roaring run creek a class A native trout stream. Within walking distance to the ICV hiking and biking trail and a short drive to both Seven Springs and Hidden Valley resorts plus PA's largest state park Ohiopyle, the cabin is the perfect location to experience the best of the Laurel Highlands. Our newly renovated cabin sleeps up to 2 people with a queen in the bedroom but also features a custom-made pull-out couch in the living room. Features include complete renovation inside and out, hot tub with privacy area, outdoor fire pit, automatic gas fireplace, outdoor seating area, outdoor grill, heat pump, and air conditioning, large flat screen television, and fast reliable internet. Open the window in the bedroom and let the sound of Roaring run put you to sleep. Located in the heart of the Laurel Highlands the eagle's nest is the perfect location for a relaxing escape or action-filled adventure.

Eagles Nest is a beautiful little cabin combining modern finishings with a very rustic appeal. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere with the sound of the Creek directly behind the bedroom window. The warmth and glow of the fireplace. The comfort and relaxation of a full size, jetted hot tub.
It was all wonderful. I couldn't really ask for anything more. I would be very eager and pleased to stay again.

The property is immaculate. Tastefully decorated and fully provisioned including bedding and towels all fresh and easily located. Owner is an absolute professional, every detail tended to before arrival. Met us and gave a quick, efficient, and complete briefing of everything we needed to know and he did it in person, late check in. Postcard setting in the woods, quiet and peaceful yet less than 15 minutes from everything we wanted to do in the area (ski, fine dining, sightseeing, hike). Super fast reliable wifi. Easy road access and plenty of parking. Private hot tub in perfect working order. A very kind welcome gift and a supply of firewood for the outdoor firepit topped off our stay. 100% my go-to VRBO rental if I'm coming to the area again.

Great cabin and it was super clean, very well appointed. It had everything we needed for our stay. The host was excellent, he met us there to go over everything about the cabin. He was only a text or phone call away, if we had any problems, or needed anything. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the cabin over Christmas weekend and couldn’t have had a better time. Jess met us at the cabin and walked us through everything which was very nice. He even sent us some restaurant suggestions. We loved the place as it was super nice and tidy, and was even decorated for Christmas. Can’t wait to go back.

My partner and I spent three amazing days at this cabin. It was a perfect, relaxing weekend. I usually only rent places to sleep at but this time we never left the cabin. It had everything on site that we needed. It was super clean and up to date. The hot tub was perfect and so was the fire pit. I would 100% recommend this property.

We stayed in this newly renovated cabin for two nights and celebrated my wife’s birthday. We had a great meal at Treetops restaurant, enjoyed a massage at Seven Springs Trillium Spa, and hiked at Ohiopyle. It was a wonderful stay!

My wife and I spent a couple nights here to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Cabin is so nice, clean, and well stocked! We had a great couple days. We ate at Treetops, went to the spa at Seven Springs, and enjoyed the hot tub. Sipped some apple pie moonshine that the owner left for us. Highly recommended for a couples getaway!

This is a very small well maintained and cozy little cabin, with everything you would need for a great getaway. We were there on motorcycles to explore the local roads, and were very pleased with our stay.

The cabin surpassed our expectations. It was done very well and was clean and very functional. Jess thought of everything. We really enjoyed our stay while celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. The grounds were nice with a stream out back. The hot tub was fantastic. Jess gave us restaurants and things to do in the area and he was a great host. We give this place a 5plus and we will definitely be back. We had a great time there.

The cabin was wonderful. I hope I can go back next year. We did some hiking and visited the Flight 93 memorial in Somerset. My sister and I really enjoyed the area.

The property is recently updated, well stocked with kitchen amenities, is close to several Laurel Highlands recreation spots, and has a great host/owner who was flexible with our late-ish arrival. I would definitely stay here again.

We had such a relaxing time at the cabin. We went for a weekend getaway for my wife’s birthday and to go to Falling Water. The cabin was clean, well-appointed, and surprisingly luxurious! It had everything we needed and then some. It was wonderful to have the hot tub to relax in at the end of the day. Our only small issue was that we wished there was some kind of privacy fence between this cabin and the one next door. We didn’t realize they were so close. The people staying there were lovely but we were trying to “get away” from people (because of our jobs). It all worked out, though. Overall, we loved it and would definitely come back!

Perfect weekend getaway cabin! My boyfriend and I stayed for his birthday March 2023. The cabin has everything you need; Jess is very organized and thought of everything. The hot tub, fireplace, and the sound of the creek outside were just added bonuses! We will be back!

A wonderful getaway for us. Cabin is cozy and quaint. Quiet, places to see close by. The hot tub was just the relaxing thing. All you needed was your food. Well put together in all aspects. We will be back.

The entire property is amazing. The cottage is beautiful with every detail. The kitchen was all we needed and no hassle gas fireplace was fantastic. Hot tub was a nice amenity after snow tubing. You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I stayed here for the first time (my first time over all in PA) to visit family but also have a little trip for ourselves. We LOVED it! Jess met us at the cabin for check in and we were blown away by how helpful he was and beautiful the cabin was. He gave us lots of info about the area and the cabin had everything we needed! We plan on coming back in the future!

We had absolutely the sweetest stay the cabin is about 10 minutes away from town, 7 springs, and hidden valley resorts so super convenient! Jess the property manager is friendly and informative, he was a fantastic host and made us feel incredibly welcome. This is a great place to relax and reset it has absolutely everything you'd need 11/10 reccommend staying!!

When we found this property on VRBO we thought it was too good to be true.. but in reality it was a dream come true. These are by far the best hosts I’ve seen!! I rented the cabin for my aunts honeymoon & he had a bottle of wine waiting for them. The place was fully stocked with anything and everything you could need or want. It was super clean and so cute! The land itself was beautiful and the sound of the flowing creek was so soothing. Everything was beyond our expectations. Their attention to detail was noticed and much appreciated. We will be returning. ❤️ next time we are bringing our whole family!! So glad we found this place!

The listing for this property doesn’t do it justice. This is an amazing cabin, just a bit off the beaten path, right next to a beautiful trout stream. The cabin was nicely stocked, which was critical as because of the of the weather, we decided to stay in. Everything we needed to cook and clean was in the unit. I can’t imagine a more quaint property. And Jess was also extremely helpful in pointing out places that we would enjoy while we were there. We will certainly be back.

Everything about this little cabin was perfect:
- Beautifully newly remodeled
- great location close to Seven Springs and Ohiopyle
- amazing property with small stream running right behind
- fully stocked with everything you could possibly need (cooking, towels, linens, laundry, tv/netflix)
- nice hot tub with brand new patio to relax on
Best of all was the owner - super nice, knowledgable about the area, gave great recomendations, excellent and quick communication, and provided a top-notch experience that included everything you could possibly need for the perfect getaway.
Would give more than 5 stars and would highly recomned and we will definatelty be back in the future!
