For a classic Kiwi bach with a stunning harbour vista, look no further than Bay Vista Views!

You’ll be in holiday mode as you pull up a chair on the long-covered deck, looking out to the water with the BBQ firing. Or recline in the lounge on one of the couches with a selection from the well-stocked bookshelf.

Under the shade of a large Rimu, enter through the gate and park off-street in the courtyard. Take a wander through the rear of the property meandering through lush native trees.

This two-bedroom accommodation features a queen bed and two king singles, sleeping up to four. There is one bathroom, with a bath, and laundry facilities.

Amenities for your stay include a well-stocked kitchen with dishwasher, stove-top coffee maker and plunger, heat pump, Wi-Fi, and TV. There are board games and DVDs to pass the time.

With its harbour, estuary, and dramatic coastline, Raglan offers a great Kiwi holiday for the whole family. It’s a three-minute drive to the town centre or take your time with a 20-to-30-minute walk. Please note, there is a separate tenanted unit on the property.

This bach overlooks the Lorenzen Bay section of the river mouth and is a three-minute drive to the wharf at the eastern end of Wallis St, with its eateries.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunrise from the main bedroom, then a cuppa tea on the deck sitting in the sun. Later on in evening relaxing on the balcony, watching the sunset, having a drink of wine. Doesn’t get any better. Very comfortable accommodation.

This property does not match the description and is not fit for purpose as a rental. There was no welcome pack/instructions. We were unable to access to the internet and unable to operate the (dated) TV boxes. There were lots of trailing wires/extension leads and no working socket in the kitchen - we had to plug in the kettle in the sitting room! The description did not explain the proximity of the other house in the plot or the unsatisfactory laundry arrangements. Patio doors from this property open onto the terrace of the adjacent house impacting on privacy.. The laundry facilities are in the adjacent house and to access them it is necessary to enter that occupied property - someone else’s home. The occupant was unwelcoming and sought to impose himself on us which made us feel very uncomfortable. We had booked for 4 nights. We reluctantly stayed the first night because we could not contact the agent and it was too late to find alternative accommodation. We have since spoken to the agent and the staff were receptive to our concerns but we are still awaiting a refund for the other 3 nights.
