Great comfortable stay in a historic neighborhood with a convenient downtown location.

Charming, clean, cozy and comfortable

Not much, it was very good. I did reach out to the owners upon arrival regarding the inside temp, which was a bit warm. They did explain that the air conditioning system was new and perhaps not handling the high outside temp and humidity so well. In all fairness, it was a hot August afternoon and we were on the third floor. My family of 4, myself included, were all able to get to sleep and slept well.

A really lovely apartment.

The property was clean with crisp white towels. A warm welcome with a bottle of wine and snacks.

Some of the kitchen equipment was lacking - just two forks and a knife for a Family for four. To discover there is no can opener midway through making a snack was also a bit annoying. The bed in the smaller room was super uncomfortable - like sleeping on a water bed. If you moved the whole bed would wobble. I was worried about disturbing my partner which resulted in a bad night’s sleep.

Wish we were able to explore the area longer!

Such a cute area and the space was perfect for us and our two small kids. Big kid in the full size bed, pack and play fit in the corner by the window.

Tight squeeze up to the third floor, but it was manageable. It was warmer than we are used to in The space and we could not change thermostat. There is a plug in fan that helped.

Perfect spot in picturesque, historic part of Richmond

The apartment was a wonderful spot for our family of three (two adults, one teenager). It's well-located and well-priced in a picturesque part of Richmond. The interior is spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Erik and Mei are great at communicating and welcoming with finishing touches like a bottle of wine and snacks. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of linen. We appreciated the convenient, free parking and the three flights of stairs were fine - they just add to the charm of the place!

For an overnight stay it was perfect.

I love old houses and architecture. The house was in great condition. The stairway was narrow like the old houses I remember from my childhood. The apartment was not hot. I thought it may be since it was on the top floor, but the AC worked well. everything was very clean.

I have no real complaints about the property. I would have maybe liked a table or something to set my clean clothes on in the bathroom, but it didn’t make a real difference to me.

perfect stay after a concert for my trio

Perfect location! Walking distance from The Broadberry and lots of restaurants. Room was comfortable and cozy and just the right size for a family of 3. The owners have used small spaces cleverly.

The staircase is very narrow, but that’s expected in an old house like this one.
