Comfortable apartment, good value.

Bright, cheery apartment. Good location. Easy to get too, close to amenities.

Minor things like 2 more pillows for the bed, a few throw pillows on the couch for your back. Bedside lamp for reading. Bigger mugs for coffee. But these are my personal needs/ wants and maybe not a concern of other guests.

Schönes Apartement mit tollem Ausblick über die Stadt

Das Apartement war schön eingerichtet mit allem, was man brauchte. Das Sofabett war bei unserer Ankunft bereits fertig bezogen. Der Ausblick über die Stadt war sehr schön. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb, aber für unseren Zweck (Besuch des Fußballspiels) war sie ideal, da in Stadionnähe. Kostenlose Parkplätze am Haus.

Bei der Ankunft hielt uns jemand die Innentür auf, so dass wir nicht aufsperren mussten, um ins Haus zu kommen. Bei der Rückkehr vom Fußballspiel am späteren Abend hatten wir aber einige Probleme mit dem Schlüssel, da sich die Tür nicht öffnen ließ. Mit etwas Geduld und nach einigen Versuchen hat es dann doch geklappt.

Good

This is an apartment building a few minutes outside of the city center. The host gave us instructions regarding entering etc and it was pretty easy. The apartment is clean and the sofa bed was comfortable. We enjoyed going to the public pool a few minutes away.

There's a slight smell in the hallways when you enter. The dining room chairs are very uncomfortable.

Perfect for our one night stopover post cruise.

Friendly, and accomadating host. We were off the cruise ship very early and she let us drop our bags off and gave us a lift into town. Apartment was clean and had all the basics. Bus stop is right outside and the neighborhood was very quiet.

Everything was fine for our one night stay. The only thing missing was better curtains to block out the light (we were there in Jul). This inlcudes the patio door since the sofa bed is right in front. Luckily I had a couple eye masks. Some chairs or furniture on the balcony would be a nice touch as well.

Great location, good view, and the apartment is very clean and tidy. Plenty of parking. Wish we could stay longer!

Bedroom curtain doesn't fully block out the light. During our visit in June the day never got dark. This might be an issue for light sleepers

Warm & cozy with beautiful views

Gorgeous views from the balcony, warm and cozy, great location (with parking), the apartment had everything we needed. There were two of us and I used the sofa bed, which was prepared for my arrival and really comfy. So close to Reykjavik centre and a perfect base for exploring further (driving the golden circle etc.) Will definitely try to book this apartment on my next trip to Reykjavik.

We would love to come back

We liked everything! This is a cosy and very clean apartment that has everything you need for your great stay in Reykjavik. It is located minutes away from the city centre by car, and the views from the building are breathtaking. Communication with owners is smooth, and finding/entering the property is hassle free. Martha is lovely, responds to messages within minutes, and makes you feel really welcome.

Great appartment: breathtaking views: you can even see the Northern Lights when conditions are good!

The location was super! In a quiet area with enough place to park the car in front of the appartment. There is an easy access to the highway and a 24-hour shop and the city center is just a 10-15 minutes drive. The hosts of the appartment are really nice. Everything we needed was there: kitchen, a decent bathroom and enough space for the two of us. But the most breathtaking was the view on Aurora, The Northern Lights. Although you stay in the city it is possible to see the Northern Lights from the balcony. We even could see it sitting on the bed staring out of the bedroom window! How romantic!
