Upon entering, you'll be greeted by the main floor's open-concept living, kitchen, and dining area, adorned with floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light. The cozy living room, featuring a charming woodstove, opens onto a large, sunny deck with delightful peek-a-boo views of Lake Tahoe. The state-of-the-art kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line amenities, making it a joy for any home chef. Additionally, this level boasts a serene primary bedroom with a king bed and a lavish ensuite bathroom.

Nestled in a tranquil Tahoe City neighborhood, this home is less than half a mile from scenic trails perfect for hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing around Paige Meadows. For the adventurous, trails leading to the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) are also accessible. Conveniently, you're just a short drive from West Shore Market, Fire Sign Café, and downtown Tahoe City.

Accommodating up to ten guests, this home provides ample space for two families or a group of friends. The lower floor features four additional bedrooms: one with a queen bed and ensuite bathroom, another with a queen bed, one with twin beds, and one with bunk beds. The inviting family room on this level includes a plush sofa, a gas fireplace, and sliding doors that open to yet another expansive deck.

During winter, bring your snow gear and enjoy the small sledding hill right outside the front door, providing endless fun for the kids as they play in the snow.

Location:
While the kids (and a few grown-up kids) have a snow day on the property's yard, perhaps others will want to venture out to the local ski spots like Homewood or Palisades at Tahoe. On a summer day, you will be only a few minutes from beautiful lake beaches. You may choose to grab a latte and breakfast at the charming Fire Sign Cafe. For a night out, explore the restaurants in Tahoe City, which are less than 5 miles away.

Parking:
Parking is available for 4 cars total. Two in the garage and two in the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Pets are not allowed at this home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 10 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was even bigger than expected. Had a great time with toddlers and friends. Kitchen was well-equipped, and there were numerous games and some toys in both of the large family rooms. Location was convenient for skiing and grocery shopping.

Well located. Spacious place. The communal places were well arranged and comfortable to be in. The 2nd living room with the play station worked very well for the teens. The only draw back was that some mattresses were on the hard side.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our family vacation in this large beautiful property. There was plenary of room for all of us. In the winter I would highly recommend a AWD or 4x4 vehicle unless you are very proficient putting on chains. The property is located up a 12% grade hill that recommends chains when the road is covered in ice and for good reason, ask me how I know.

Found a very comfortable place to stay and more surprise to find much more snow as our expectation's were low as this winter has been weak so far. Enjoy it a lot with all our family.

Lake Tahoe is so very close, and visible with peekaboo views through the trees, from the home. Beautiful walking trails in town, by the lake. Great place to visit!

Kitchen needs a salad spinner. Extra linens were appreciated. Overall, an excellent property.

The weather so so severe, roads were closed, and the threat of avalanches, and roofs collapsing under the weight of snow, all of this played a factor in our choice to stay safe at home. Maybe this spring we can plan another (first) stay here.

It's on a quiet street and had a little hill where the kids could sled. The kitchen was well-stocked for families who like to cook and everything was clean and well organized. Would stay again!
