Perched on the banks of the Baume River with idyllic views across the blossoming countryside, this traditional home opens its doors to an unforgettable stay in the Ardéche. And with the hilltop village of Joyeuse just a short drive away, you’ll be in the perfect setting to experience quintessential French charm at its finest. From the rustic stone and wooden features to the art and furnishings, every detail enriches the space with a wonderful sense of character. So whether you’re here for an intimate celebration or a quiet retreat, you’ll find yourself serenaded by the simple and small details of this home. Wake up to idyllic views across the river, take a refreshing stroll through the garden, enjoy a quiet morning coffee on the terrace and share beautiful meals around the table. However you spend your time here, this is the kind of home that brings comfort and ease to daily living. Days can be spent hiking, cycling, sightseeing and embracing the adventurous spirit of the region. You’ll find the Gorges de l'Ardèche just over an hour away by car, while the hanging gardens of Labeaume are a twenty-minute drive away. Wherever the day takes you, this home makes the perfect setting for candlelit dinners and cosy evenings by the fire. Home truths: *There is free private parking here *This home is best suited for ten adults and three children *This home is semi-detached so some of the outdoor spaces and stairs are shared with your neighbours *This home is spread across two floors with no internal lift *The queen-sized beds can be separated into two singles upon request *Your host can provide a cot and high chair for free upon request *You'll need to bring your own toiletries with you to use during your stay *You will also need to provide your own wood for the fireplace *There is storage space for bikes here *Children will need to be supervised outside at all times
