The Space:
This home is two stories and does require climbing stairs to access the upper floors. There are a couple steps from the sidewalk to access the front door.
- There are two additional rooms in the home that contain 1 queen bed. For clarity, these are rooms with doors that can be closed for additional privacy. They are labeled as a “Living Room” above.
- Backyard with BBQ Grill
- 1 Indoor kitchen is fully stocked with essential cookware.

The Neighborhood:
The Gentilly neighborhood is well-known throughout New Orleans as a family-friendly and safe neighborhood. Our neighborhood is home to universities which throw events year-round, Lake Pontchartrain, and quaint mom-and-pop shops. The 10-18 minute drive to the French Quarter makes it convenient to visit your favorite tourist destinations, and the quiet character of the neighborhood makes it truly an oasis as night.
We have owned this property for 3 years now and have never experienced anything close to a safety incident - we love it here! All of our neighbors are friendly and there's a 24/7/365 private neighborhood watch. Perfect for families with kids!
Getting Around:
Off-street parking for 2-3 vehicles makes this a great option for those who prefer to bring their cars. It is a 10-18 minute drive to the French Quarter, depending on the time of day. For public transportation lovers, the 57 bus stops a 5 minute walk away at Franklin at Mendez, and takes about 25-30 minutes to get to the Quarter. For cyclists, the French Quarter is a 20-25 minute bike ride away.

HOUSE DISCLOSURES
–We try our best to accommodate early check-ins, but we want to ensure the entirety of the spacious estate is clean and prepared for arrival. We can often accommodate early bag drop for your convenience. Please inquire if this is of interest to your group.
–The hot tub is open for year-round use, but does have scheduled maintenance. We will do our best to inform guests of pool and hot tub maintenance anytime this needs to occur and keep it as short as possible to maximize your use and enjoyment.
BUSINESS DISCLAIMERS
–We have a minimum age requirement for booking this rental. Reservation holder must be 21 years or older.
–We request that guests complete a guest verification process and sign an additional agreement prior to receiving any check-in information.
–We require that guests provide a valid credit card and piece of ID for identification purposes only.
–We do not accept peer-to-peer payment systems or any prepaid debit cards as methods of payment.
–Pets are not allowed at this property.
–Packages mailed to the property cannot be received by the host. The host is not responsible for lost or damaged packages and cannot guarantee their arrival.
–We use Arlo and Noise Aware in our homes. Arlo is a video recording system that has been installed at the front/back doors of the home’s EXTERIOR ONLY, for your safety. NoiseAware is a decibel monitoring system that we use to keep in accordance with local noise regulations.
