This pretty stone cottage is situated along a quiet woodland country lane with the River Chew running alongside. Nestles at the foot of the beautiful Dovestone Reservoir, bordering the Peak District National Park with its many wonderful walks right out the front door. Greenfield village is just a stone’s throw away from providing amenities, shops and welcoming countryside pubs.
This large stone cottage incorporates two double bedrooms with en-suite shower-rooms, one twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom - all upstairs. Downstairs the property boasts a large lounge with a double sofa bed and a large stone fireplace with log burner, Smart TV and Bluetooth speaker. A beautiful dining room, WC and a large fitted kitchen with all the appliances except washing machine. There is also a deluxe steam double shower unit for ultimate relaxation. Garden area to the front and side offering a delightful stone flagged patio area with stone built barbeque, table and benches. Parking for two vehicles.. Nestled at the foot of the beautiful Dovestone Reservoir, Dovestone Holiday Park borders the Peak District National Park and is just 3 miles from the Pennine Way, offering that quintessential relaxing break.

This idyllic location is the perfect setting, within easy reach of Bronte Country, ’Last of the Summer Wine’ town of Holmfirth and visitor attractions such as the Blue John Caves, Buxton Opera House and the Saddleworth Canal.

Security Deposit
Before we can hand over the keys to one of our properties, you are required to check in online or in person with a valid photo ID, we accept drivers licence or passport. You are also required to provide credit or debit card information which is securely stored in our booking system until your departure. Any serious damages are chargeable and you would be notified before any charge is made. We rarely make charges as we know guests look after our properties.
Group Bookings/Party Types
Due to the peaceful nature of the site no single sex parties under the age of 30 are allowed without prior arrangement from the site manager, without this your entry may be refused.
Arrival Information
Monday and Friday arrivals welcome from 4pm to 6pm. Early check in can be booked in advance allowing for an arrival time of 1pm. Please contact the site directly
Wednesday arrivals are welcome from 1pm to 4pm.Please note: the reception closes promptly at 6pm on Monday and Friday and 4pm on Wednesday, please contact us if you will be arriving late.
Departure Information
Check out time is 10am. Late check out can be booked in advance. Please contact the site directly.
Accommodation Information
The WiFi onsite is only suitable for email usage and can be temperamental due to the signal strength in the area. Pods are not equipped with Wi-Fi but you may be able to pick up a signal outside your accommodation and our office.
A £200 security deposit will be required on arrival which will need to be paid on a credit card. At the end of the holiday, and once the lodge has been checked the deposit will be refunded to you less any costs incurred for broken, missing items or soiling in the cabin. You will receive the refunded deposit/balance within 7 days of your holiday end.
If you are arriving late you will need to pay your security deposit in advance. We regret that if a deposit is not received we will not be able to provide you with access to your holiday Lodge.
Please be aware the park will strictly not allow any bookings after 8:30pm.
