I will keep this review short, as we notified the owners of issues we had with our stay. However, we did not hear back from them, which was disappointing. We were not notified of the malfunctioning hot tub until the morning of our stay, which was the main reason we booked this property. There were other things we had to deal with that should not have been our responsibility. The cabin could have been more clean. Difficult to cool down, especially the upstairs loft. Otherwise, our dogs loved the backyard. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and waking up to the view from the large window. Great coffee shop nearby called LuluBelle's and short drive to Heap's Pike Arboretum, which was also dog friendly.

Cons-was advised hot tub not working 1 day before check in ; dog's hair all over inside the house ; backyard had leaves, dust, spider webs all over the floor, bed, couch, couch's pillows ; 2nd bedroom was very hot even w.a commercial fan and only got cooler only at night time, workers only came to fix the tub the morning we were leaving.

This is a fantastic getaway from it all: not a busy area, but a short trip to Big Bear Lake, Skypark and Lake Arrowhead. We will definitely try to stay here again

Cabin was so clean and cozy. Such a relaxing stay and we got some snow, which is always a plus. Love the location right next to some nice hiking trails. Great times with the doggies and good meals with friends. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Overall the place wasn’t bad. However for the fees added and total price, I’d expect the house to be a whole lot cleaner. After all guests are asked to clean the place before they leave , so why no have the “ cleaners” come in and dust the place and clean the windows. Neighborhood was so so, but this ain’t Arrowhead. Assume it just pos up when searching for a place in Arrowhead. But for the price I’d expect the place to be a whole lot cleaner.

My partner, our dog and I had a great two night stay. The bed was soft, the neighborhood was quiet, and we had everything we needed. It was close enough to a few restaurants and hikes for us to get there and back quickly, plus a 15 or so min drive to Lake Arrowhead. Would definitely stay again.
One watch-out: the driveway is very steep, so cars that sit low to the ground will probably scrape getting in/out.

We enjoyed the cabin and appreciated all of the supplies and amenities (coffee, spices, cold filtered water in the fridge) and, of course, the hot tub and the access to Netflix.
We did have a bit of trouble negotiating the steep driveway with potholes and the permanent trash container right at the end of the driveway. Luckily, we didn't scrape our car, but we think future renters would appreciate some adjustments to that approach to your lovely cabin.

This was the perfect cabin for the weekend. It was amazingly clean, had all of the necessities, and is in a great quiet neighborhood. The balcony was perfect for relaxing in the morning and enjoying the sounds of nature. We will definitely be back.

Upon arrival the driveway was too steep for my brand new vehicle. Wish that was listed in the property details I would have gladly brought our truck. Entering the property…. Yard is over grown with fox tail weeds. Very run down looking, Not like that pictures displayed. The inside of the location is not current with online pictures either. The down stairs smells strongly like pet urine. Cluttered things blocking one of the sliding doors to open for fresh air. The bed upstairs is unimaginable. Needs to be replaced for the cost of what this cabin is listed for and people with back issues such as myself should not be sleeping on or anyone in general. After arriving at 530 to celebrate our anniversary we turned around and left at approximately 930 due to the smell, zero comfort for sleeping or even attempting, being frustrated with the damage the driveway did to my vehicle, and just feeling very uncomfortable. So basically we spent way too much money for a cabin we were mislead on, drove two hours to get there to turn around and drive 2 hours back home. Very big disappointment and even more so the host is unresponsive to any of our issues or to speak of some sort of a refund but after searching through all these good comments and questioning how they left such comments I found a few similar ones to issues we had and worse. The host sounds very rude and zero care for the people that stay. I would not ever recommend this location. We travel a lot and this was a first. vrbo definitely let us down.

My husband, myself and our dog, Butch had a wonderful stay in your cabin. We were lucky and got to experience quite a bit of snow, hikes nearby and loved reading by the wood stove. It was exactly the type of getaway we all needed. And our dog is a snow dog. I wish I could submit a picture. He loved it so much.

We had a wonderful stay. The Cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. Very close to many mountain sites and we especially enjoyed the comfortable hot tub. Highly recommend staying here.

This is a great cabin and is very comfortable and stocked well. Beds are comfy and linens are top quality (not very often that happens). The Back yard is more private than the photos look so it was nice to enjoy dinner on the back patio and enjoy the peace and quiet and a relaxing dip in the jacuzzi was an added bonus. This Cabin is located in an area you could bike around if you have kids or just enjoy to bike ride. We were worried it would be too steep but there is a nice park right down the street that we would walk the dogs too and had a great experience exploring the area. The front patio is nice to enjoy your morning coffee on and say hello to passing by walkers and hikers.
We will DEFINITELY be staying again!!

Decided not to stay upon arriving at property and finding front gate broken and coyote seen in neighborhood. Home certainly showing age but acceptable for price. Was planning on renting a full month next year, but upon review, decided to cancel next years reservation and look for something closer to town and a bit nicer.

We had a nice, quiet stay in this cabin. It has a fenced yard which was a huge asset because of our dogs. No dishwasher and sink/counter area is quite small so made cooking a challenge. Fortunately there is a wonderful gas barbecue in the yard so we never had to use the electric stove. I purchased a small vacuum and left it for the next guests. There was no vacuum and I certainly didn’t want to leave the place with dog hair on the floor. Good cabin for two people.

This cabin was a big disappointment! My husband and I picked this cabin because it advertised a large fenced yard for our dog. The backyard was filled with over-grown weeds, our dog could not even go out there. The backyard also had trash strewn around, possibly the previous person (?). The cabin itself was dirty/dusty, the TV did not work, the sliding glass door was broken and jerry-rigged with a pole instead of being fixed properly. The worst part though, the owner's attitude. He contacted me the second day of our stay to ask if I could let the cable guy in to check the cable box. This was our vacation, and he obviously knew there was something wrong, (turned out to be the TV, nothing to do with the cable box). When I voiced my disappointment regarding the backyard, he told me he had no control over the weeds, he really had an "I don't care attitude". We should have been contacted prior to check-in, regarding the condition of this cabin. My husband and I left right after the cable guy. The owner contacted me the next morning, stating the gardener was coming by to cut the weeds. Again, this was my vacation and now a little too late. This should have been done before we arrived. This was a waste of money, and of course we were NOT offered a refund. I would never recommend this place.

We wanted to take advantage of the last couple of days of skiing and as we always do, needed a place we could take our dogs. The cabin was perfect. Gated yard with enough room for the dogs to run around. My son loved his upstairs bedroom. Easy access to everything. We skied, hiked, relaxed and had a great time. My wife locked us out on our second day. We were panicked but no worries. Ron took care of it quickly. If you want peace and quiet and a fantastic place to chill out, this is it.

The cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway, super cute and cozy! Loved the deck & loft area, the pitched roof made it feel more like a cabin, which we loved. The fenced in yard made it extremely easy for our two pups to enjoy their time as well. Rob, the owner was great at responding to any questions we had and we will definitely be returning! The only thing I would suggest, would be some sort of stop sign or little marker at the end of the the top of the driveway....we came in late at night and almost went right off the cliff.
ps. the beds were by far the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in at an VRBO home!!
