About this cabin rental
Large and unique cabin with full size arcade games, wine nook, solarium, sauna, and hot tub! You're likely to see deer and other wildlife from the comfort of the expansive deck, while you're soaking up the sun in the summer or catching snowflakes on your tongue in the wintery months. Walk the trails or take a stroll around the neighborhood. Only a short 5 min drive to the downtown village of Shaver Lake with bars, shops, restaurants, and trails.
Fantastic family cabin away from the hustle and bustle of town, but still a short 10-minute drive to the lake and an even shorter drive to Shaver's adorable shops and delicious restaurants! It's a 25-40 minute drive to China Peak Ski Resort depending on weather conditions, but oh so worth it when you return to this cozy space! During the summer, enjoy cornhole out on the deck! The main living area is open concept with enough room for the whole family to enjoy meals, play cards, or hang out on the deck overlooking the evergreens. Downstairs you'll find large comfortable bedrooms and a cool sitting area with arcade games! This one-of-a-kind cabin is ideal for large families or a couple of families traveling together. The driveway is flat with enough space to park a boat in the summer, and a great area to play in the snow in the winter. Located in a gated community just south of downtown, feel free to stroll around the paved roads or take a hike down one of the many nearby trails. Perfect location for your next family vacation!
Guests have access to the entire cabin, decks, balcony, and outside space! There are two living spaces on this property. One is the main house for Airbnb guests to enjoy. The other is an apartment space separate from the main house and above the garage. Thus, guests do NOT have access to the garage as the owner occasionally visits.
Neighborhood description
This quiet neighborhood is the perfect landscape for a quaint stroll through the beautiful trees! Miraculously spared by the recent fire, you'll be surrounded by lush greenery and tall pines. You're likely to see deer, squirrels, birds, and other wildlife. The neighborhood is gated, and the cabins and streets around are beautifully kept and lovely to walk around and admire.
This is a fantastic cabin in Shaver Lake, in a gated community in the woods. Of course, there is potential for snow, wild animals and critters, insects, and other circumstances that go along with renting a cabin in the woods that are out of anyone's control and do not constitute refunds.

House Rules
1. Communication is key! All guests must download and use the Airbnb App for communication. You'll receive check-in and check-out information through the app. Check in after 4pm. Check out by 11am. Our office hours are between 8am-9pm, please communicate between those hours.
2. Honesty is the best Policy! Add all guests to the reservation. Maximum Occupancy is 10 total individuals.
3. No parties! No smoking of any kind inside the home. Removal of smoke detectors is illegal. If you choose to smoke outside, dispose of your butts appropriately. Absolutely no parties or large, loud gatherings at this property. Loud music, excessive rowdiness, excessive drinking or smoking, etc. will result in a $1,000 party fine. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am.
4. Be respectful! When using outdoor areas (deck, bbq, yard games, etc.) and beach essentials, please clean up after yourself so the next guest can enjoy it as well. If something is wrong, low, or out, please let us know so we can fix it. Never leave trash outside, it attracts birds and other animals that make a mess.
5. Have fun! Our goal is to host a vacation to remember. If you don't agree with our above rules, this is NOT the house for you, please find a home that better fits your needs and we'll all be happier! With the exception of things out of our control, we'll always do our best to make sure you have the best time!
6. BE A GOOD SHAVER NEIGHBOR! Guests must pack out their trash during this time of high bear traffic. We have a big trash problem in Shaver, and an even bigger bear problem (they love to eat the trash left behind). There are typically dumpsters at the Sierra Marina during peak season, and at the dump station on Friday and Saturday from 10am-3pm at 42089 Dinkey Creek Road. If you can’t pack out your trash, tie it up tight and never leave it outside.

Cozy, comfortable, peaceful, good vibes/energy; great place to relax and recharge! The spa and sauna coupled with a snowstorm = perfection! Second biggest hit was the classic arcade games! I left holding the top score in Galaxia!
