The beach and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean are just half a block down the road from this updated, three-story home in Corolla, where you'll be treated to a private hot tub, a fantastic screened porch, and your very own billiard room.

This home sits on a quiet circle six houses up the street from Corolla Beach. A number of conveniences are mere blocks away along Highway 12, including a Food Lion, Corolla Adventure Golf, recreational outfitters, and a number of shops and eateries.

One of the special features of this house is its outdoor space, including a screened porch on the second floor where you can rock in the swing, soak in the hot tub, and escape all the elements and insects. There's also an outdoor shower to welcome you back from the beach, a horseshoe pit in the yard, and sunny decks on both the front and rear of the house.

The interior is full of thoughtful updates, including new floors, an updated kitchen, renovated bathrooms, and beds and mattresses that are all less than a year old (2022). The main living space is upstairs on the top floor, offering gorgeous natural light, a breezy kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and generous, open dining space at the breakfast bar and two adjacent tables.

For entertainment, you can stream movies and play board games in the living room or head downstairs to the game room to shoot pool and watch DVDs. When it's time to turn in, there are six bedrooms to choose from, including two primary suites with TVs, private bathrooms, and direct deck access. A washer/dryer, central air, and complimentary WiFi are provided for your comfort as well.

For 2022, the community pool will be open until October 7. It will otherwise be unavailable for guest use.

We booked this reservation in January, for a July trip. Three days before we were due to leave, we received noticed the reservation was cancelled, due to the home owner not completing construction on site. We had to scramble last minute to try and find a property that worked for our 12 guests, had the same week available, and a within our peice range. Property owners need to be held accountable for issues like this, but I doubt anything will be done.

I really like the area of the house and all the amenities that were provided such as the screened in hot tub and the ample amount of bedrooms. However, cleanliness was severely lagging when we checked in such as finding stains of many of the pillows and sheets, and not finding places for extra sheets, pillows, and towels in a place such as a hall closet. We had previously rented this house before, and a great time then. However, there was a stark contrast in how clean and organized the house was from last time compared to this time.

This home was beautiful. When we arrived, the door was unlocked so me and my mom had to go in before the children to check the safety and security of the home. I was not happy about that. Please remind the cleaning crew to locked the door after they are done. We had to STUFF our trash in the trash cans because the trash was NOT picked up the entire stay. But other then that, it was a great home.

We had a great family get together in the off season. My impression is this was an older home that has been gradually upgraded. Kitchen is gorgeous! Actually has seating AND plates/utensils for as many as the house can accomodate. Beds are comfortable. There was very heavy rain our 1st day which showed a ceiling bathroom leak door leak, company was very responsive. Didn't affect out stay but important for the homeowners. Upstairs bathrooms also need towel bars installed (they're in closets). Short walk to beach.

Just a half block from the beach, and the beach was not over crowded. Close to grocery stores & a lot of restaurants.Resonably clean, could have used more kitchen towels, only one was provided and there wasn't any pot holders at all.The place has had some great updates, the kitchen and master bathrooms are great, but not quite done. There weren't any towel bars in one of the bathrooms (they were under the sink to be installed!) Lower level bathrooms were functional and clean but need udating. Overall, comfortable but there could have been a little more attention to details for the price of the place.
