Set off the banks of Big St Germain Lake in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin, Deer Run Resort Unit #9 is a charming cabin with great adventures waiting to be had. Make memories with us year after year. Deer Run Resort was established in 1907 and was originally called Musky Lodge. This private resort brings volumes of history but with all the updates we have made you would think it was built yesterday.

Looking for excitement look no further than the four-season trail system that make St Germain a great destination for all outdoor adventure. Cabin #9 is located within 1.5 miles of all main trail systems.
ATV, bike, snowmobiling, anything all terrain trail needed let's not forget the miles of cross-country skiing trails, hiking trails and walking trails nested within the system marked separately for safety all located within walking distance of this resort.

What's not to love about a resort that offers the best of both worlds. After touring the landscape that offered miles and miles of trails within a short distance from this cabin, come back home and take 30 steps out your front door to a beautiful sunrise/ sunset on Big St Germain Lake that offers the best possible conditions for all your water activities.

Bring all your equipment needed to enjoy kayaking, boating, water skiing, swimming, freshwater fishing. Do your morning yoga on the dock or sand beach if you desire the peace and serenity is calling for relaxation in the summer months. For winter months bring your ice fishing gear snowshoes and any winter equipment used to enjoy the calm solace of the winter months. The crisp clean brisk mornings will light new spark into your day. Enjoy a hot chocolate on the deck all while contemplating the beauty of the Northwoods.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We made a last-minute decision to try to find a cabin for Labor Day weekend, and ended up choosing cabin #9 at Deer Run. This rustic cabin worked out great for my wife and I. We had to contact the Owner for two questions, and he was very responsive and cordial. The property management company was easy to work with and accommodating. The weather was quite warm, so we made a point of getting up early to do walks, hikes and biking. We spent most of the afternoons in the water, which was refreshing. Nice Weber charcoal grill on site as well as a fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Fortunately it cooled off enough at night to do fires. All in all, a very relaxing and pleasant stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I loved studio cabin 9 and the grounds at Deer Run Resort. It's beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. The location is close to town so that made it nice for a quick run to the grocery store, or Cathy's Ice Cream!The few things I found to be lacking were having to bring my own towels, and directives, paddles, and life vests for kayaking/paddleboarding. Those minor things didn't detract from the beauty and peacefulness of the cabin and grounds, or my experience. I loved it and I'd stay there again any time!
