There's an equipped sailing and activity centre, a high ropes course, an archery centre, and fishing, to name a few, so you can up the ante whenever you please. And when it's time to refuel, the panoramic lakeside café and bistro are just a short stroll away. Or jump in the car and blaze a scenic trail down to Devon's coast – the lip-smacking fish and chips will always be worth the drive. Back home, you'll love the light-filled, free-flowing feel of the living space. Flex your culinary muscles in the made-for-action kitchen (complete with a wine fridge to chill your evening tipple to perfection) while others crash out on the oh-so-sinkable velvet sofas beside the fire. Then keep the night flowing outside on that vast private terrace with a soak in the hot tub – the star gazing is out of this world.
