Bonne petite adresse familiale

Près du centre-ville sans être dans le bruit et les voitures. Une rue calme. Un supermarché à 5 mn à pied.

La salle de bain commune pas toujours au top et les coqs qui chantent sans arrêt dès 4 h du matin !

L'horreur

Nous a fait payer immédiatement à l'arrivée Petit déjeuner non compris, alors que s'était bien noté que si. On se retrouve avec 2 enfants en basage, sans petit déjeuner, dans un quartier qui fait peur. J'en veux à Booking pour ne pas avoir supprimer ce logement. On nous fait enlever nos chaussures. Sanitaire commun , pas propre du tout. Il pleut dans la salle de bain.( Plafond) Le robinet du lavabo ne tient pas. Les photos sur le site et leurs notes avaient influencés notre choix. Mais quelle taudis. Très mal fréquenté, dealer dans la rue, cachette de drogue dans le buisson devant l'entrée. Simple ventilateur, alors qu'il fait très chaud.

séjour original au milieu des résidents à proximité du centre ville 15mn à pied.

Accueil très convivial. Chambre spacieuse et lumineuse.Patio extérieur agréable et ombragé .Cuisine bien frigo et micr-onde.

Bon rapport prix pour un voyageur solo.

Le lodge tout en étant excentré du centre ville est proche de l'embarcadère et de la mairie où se trouve le terminal des bus. Un supermarché est à proximité permettant un ravitaillement au moindre coût . Vanessa, la gérante du lieu, est gentille, adorable et à su trouver des solutions à mes besoins. Encore merci !

Il manque de papier ou tissu essuie-tout après vaisselle, se laver les mains...

Handy if you need to stay in town for a short stay

The staff were lovely and for tahiti the price was reasonable as the dorm rooms only have two beds so it's was basically like a private twin with shared bathroom. The shared kitchen was handy and had the basics, although the nearby supermarket had ready made meals which was a great option for cheap tasty dinner. It's close to town, perhaps 10-12 mins from the water,.and 15min walk to the port.

The beds were not comfortable, the mattresses were so thin and the base of the one I slept on was like a hospital bed with wheels and the metal bars could be felt through the mattress. The shared bathroom was reasonably cleaned although we stayed two nights and bin wasnt emptied or bathroom cleaned in that time. Towels aren't provided as part of dorm price. 150pf per towel if needed.

Endroit chaleureux, je recommande vivement

L emplacement est parfait : proche du port, du centre, de l aéroport, du marché de Papeete, des locations de voiture, d un supermarché. L accueil est excellent. Vanessa est une personne d exception : arrangeante, gentille, investie dans son travail. Les chambres sont propres. La colocation est spacieuse. Je n hésiterai pas à revenir.

Tout etait bien rapport qualité prix excellent. Les coqs font un peu de bruit le matin, mais c est partout en Polynésie !

Good for one night stay

The lady looking after the reception was lovely

We had to wait 30 minutes outside the accomodation to check-in at 2am in the morning .the lodge wifi was not working to communicate to her.

Okay for a couple of nights.

Location - close to ferry terminal and city centre. Dorms only have 2 beds - I got a 2-bed room by myself for 3 nights. Staff was nice and helpful.

Bathrooms and kitchen could be cleaner. Both fridges did not really keep my food cold. No lockers.

Clean and welcoming dormitory with a great family feel, right in the centre of Papetee!

Hime Lodge is a great little hostel pretty much in the centre of Papeete. It is a 5 min walk from the town market and other great shops. It is a ten minute walk away from the coast and the marina front. Vanessa and her family are very welcoming and really helped to show me around Papeete and the wider island. The accomodation is simple, but clean and comfortable. I thought it was excellent value for money and would recommend to others looking for somewhere to stay in Tahiti.

I would like a few more decorations about the place. The internet is difficult to connect in some extreme parts of the gardens. The internet service in Tahiti in general is not strong.

Incredible host & good atmosphere in Papeete

Nicely appointed, clean rooms with basic but decent shower/bathroom/kitchen facilities. Short walk to Papeete Markets, ferry terminal and bus stops. The Host, Vanessa is an absolute wonder woman, and made the stay like a second home

A little bit of neighbourhood noise, but nothing that you wouldn't find elsewhere in the city. On the flip side, You might catch some beautiful singing from the nearby church too!

Friendly owner.

Rather a backpacker hostel. Overpriced for low standard. We had a room at ground floor adjacent to a court yard with very little daylight. Attention: No air condition! Included breakfast minimalistic. You have to wash the dishes! You can find accommodation with more value for money in Papeete.

Nicest host in town

The breakfast was basic: bread, jam, tea/coffee that was very inexpensive and convenient in a clean kitchen w/fridge available also. The location is a short walk to the ferry boats for Moorea, food trucks, restaurants, the marina, and a quick journey to the airport. Vanessa is such a kind and helpful host. She is hard working and goes beyond and above to make visitors feel welcome and offers a clean, pleasant stay that makes it less expensive to see a beautiful island. She has plenty of info for activities, local events/food spots and travel tips. Wi-Fi was good also. I recommended HIME to a fellow traveler I met on another island, and he ended up staying there after his visit to Moorea.

There is no A/C, so keep that in mind if it is something you need. There are fans in the rooms, which was fine for me. The location is in a residential area, so it is possible there might be noise on the weekends from the neighbors.
