Enjoy long-range mountain and Sky Valley golf course views from all 3 covered porches. As you relax in our swings or rocking chairs, you can listen to the wind moving through the trees or watch the hummingbirds fly in and around the porches looking for nectar from feeders or flowers. Cozy enough for 2 but large enough for 14 people. Memorable family reunions. Nature at its finest. Hike 2.2 miles to Rabun Bald second highest mountain in Ga, right out your front door. 70% of Rabun County is National Forest Land around us.
Each of the 3 covered porches has its own spectacular scenes. It's not about how many breaths you take....it's how many moments take your breath away! Enter the living, dining, and fully equipped kitchen on the top floor encompassing the great room with a large wood-burning fireplace. This opens to a large covered porch with a gas barbecue grill and plenty of swings and rockers. TV, DVD, surround sound, Stereo. Spacious master suite with balcony access. Half bath and laundry room are also on this floor.
The middle floor, which we call the "guest floor," has 3 beautifully decorated bedrooms. 1 king entrance to covered porch, another king bedroom, 2 twins bedroom. Large family room with stone gas fireplace, tv, DVD, stereo. Guest kitchen with 2nd coffee maker, microwave, and fridge plus extra round dining table (for puzzles and cards). Covered porch with swing and rockers.
The bottom floor comprises a game room and a large bedroom with a king and queen bed. Professional Air Hockey table, Pool table, ping pong, dart boards, Tv, stereo large bar table with seating for 8 to 10, open up to yet another covered porch with spectacular valley views. The pool, Fitness room, Sauna, Hot tub, and Tennis included 1 mile to the clubhouse.
*The Sky Valley Golf Club exterior community pool and hot tub are closed in the winter months. The interior hot tub remains open year-round.

Had a lovely week at sky valley! This home was perfect gathering place after day of golf to relax and have dinner all together, plenty of space and sleeping options, well stocked and comfortable linens and beds. Great games to keep teens preoccupied, campfire circle. Lots of space to be together or to hide away!

The house and view are incredible, and we had plenty of room for our group. Ron and Amy had everything ready for us upon arrival - check in and check out was too easy! The game room was just an added bonus. We had a fantastic time and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway! Will definitely be coming back.

We had the most wonderful time here and 100% of that is because of this lovely home! It had EVERYTHING we needed and so much more. So much laughter and fun around the clock in the downstairs game room. THIS was the part of the house we absolutely spent the most time. Thank you so much for opening up this lovely home for others to enjoy and make memories in!

Our family enjoyed a quick two-night stay at Sky's The Limit and we are already planning another (longer) visit asap.
+ The home had more than enough space to accommodate our multi-generational extended family of 12.
+ The community is easy to navigate and the home was easy to locate.
+ Ron was very communicative and gave excellent directions to the property as well as clear instructions for check-in/check-out, fireplaces, game room, etc. He also called to make sure we were settled and answer any questions.
+ The home was very thoughtfully stocked - spices, kitchen appliances/pots/pans/baking utensils, a selection of laundry detergents, tons of linens, extra blankets, etc.
+ The game room was the highlight of the trip for the kids (and adults when we could sneak a game of air hockey in)
+ We did venture outside to hike as well as visit Highlands and Highlands Outpost to ride the alpine coaster and tube.
We'll definitely visit again and appreciate the hospitality from Ron & Amy!

The property is beautiful and looks exactly as presented online. The view from the main room and decks is breathtaking! Kitchen is very well stocked. We had every piece of equipment needed to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. The game room was a big hit with our family. We had extended family rent 2 properties at the golf course and we all gathered in the game room for cards, darts, air hockey and Saturday Football on the big screen TV. Location is perfect. Our family enjoyed shopping days at Highlands, NC and Clayton, GA. We also visited a tree farm in NC and cut Christmas trees. Yes, we will return!!

5 star experience all around. Ron was great from the get-go, answering questions before we booked til the time we got there, even checking in on us a couple of times to make sure everything was fine. House and area was exactly as advertised. We would not hesitate to rent this house again.

The house provided great accommodations for multiple families (us, 4 adult children, spouses, 2 grandkids) with three floors, each with spacious living area and private bedrooms. Each level had a beautiful large deck with the best views we had on a vacation. Top deck had seating for 12 with chairs, tables, rockers and swings, very comfortable and inviting. Middle deck was similarly well furnished.
The spacious dining room table was especially nice for our large group to be able to all sit down together for meals. The interior decor was extremely nice, positive and uplifting, family oriented, comfortable and welcoming. The furniture was well placed and inviting. We enjoyed the kitchen, dining and living areas all being open and connected with the deck. Beds were comfortable with lots of blankets available. The kitchen was well equipped.
The many games were used by all of us. Corn hole on the bottom deck was most popular, air hockey 2nd, then the pool table. Sky Valley was attractive and we enjoyed the privacy as no neighboring houses were visible. The bird feeder was fun to watch.
We have been to several North Georgia locations and this was the best for easy access to towns and hiking in different directions.
A few issues caused us to rate 4 stars to this otherwise 5 star house. However, it is clear the relatively new owners are eager to correct these for future guests. The owners were responsive and eager to address issues, and truly wanted us to have a great vacation!

The views from this property are breathtaking and location is great for attending the many 4th of July week events in Sky Valley and elsewhere. Property is conveniently located in the Northern Georgia area and we easily took day trips to Clayton, GA and Highlands and Cashiers, NC.

The host was great and called us a couple times to assure our stay was smooth. The layout was great for a huge group of friends or 2-3 families. The views were outstanding and the game room is for children of ALL ages! Great kitchen space on two of the three floors. If you have someone who can’t do stairs, they can still enjoy the family in the top floor without any issues. We will be back!!!

We looked at several options but this one met our needs in layout and space, and options of things to do during free time. We were not disappointed!! Fabulous for our team training and get away!
The hosts provided great directions to get there. Immediatelty impressed upon arrival. Walking through the home was a wow experience for us. Breathtaking balcony views from all 3 floors. There is a full bath on each of the 3 floors. The main floor is where we hung out for dining and our training sessions. We were able to use powerpoint presentations to the living room TV. Plenty of space and seating options.
We had 12 sleeping very comfortably. Plenty of blankets/pillows. Towels and even some toiletries were provided.
Everything was well thought out. We had a taco bar for one of our meals. We had everything we needed in the kitchen all 3 days. Didn't lack in anything needed for prep.
The bottom floor kept several of us occupied on breaks between the awesome electronic dart board, the ping pong, air hockey, and billards.
Hiking to Mud Falls was close by. And Dillard House horseback riding & the Dillard House restaurant were nearby. We enjoyed our visit there.
Trash was super simple to deal with the trash compactor located on the main road, so we dropped it off whenever we went out. Easy peasy.
Hope to bring a group or my family for a reunion back again.

Our group of mountaineers were staying over the weekend in this cabin, and we fell in love with it! The pictures don't do justice to this property. The view is truly spectacular. The cabin was very clean, well furnished, very bright and had so much space even for our large group. At the same time, it was still very cozy and homey. The cabin had everything we needed, and the owner was very responsive and great to work with. We visited the beautiful Mud Creek waterfall very close by and hiked the trail next to it. The mountain views were stunning, and we really enjoyed our time at this beautiful spot!

This was our second time to stay here. We made many memories when our children were younger and decided to return with them all as adults. We celebrated my 50th with family fun. I love sitting on the main level hearing them all laugh and talk smack while playing pool, ping pong and games.
The cabin is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Rosemary was even kind enough to call to make sure we all made it in while it was daylight. Cell phones are almost useless there. Thankful for a landline.
The views are spectacular and the area so quiet. The church chimes ringing in the valley is a peaceful reminder to slow down and take it all in. Enjoyed watching all the birds flock to the upper level feeders and even had a visit from a flying squirrel. Definitely a place where our family will continue to visit.

Rosemary and Gerry were such thoughtful, caring, generous and kind hosts. They were easy to reach via text or phone and responded promptly. Thank you for making this a vacation that we will cherish always. The view is SPECTACULAR!!! The large windows really do the view justice and make the house so bright and airy. I love how well stocked this house is. The furnishings and decor are so comfortable and tasteful. I love the antiques and fun memorabilia. The bird feeders were a big hit with us and our two cats who watched them constantly. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. I can understand why people keep coming back. I can't wait for my next turn!

The three floors were perfect. Grandparents on first floor, daughter and her family including two teenagers had 2nd and bottom floor with pool table and ping pong table! View is amazing and house was fully stocked for our needs. We rebooked already to go again!

My wife and I, along with our adult children & spouses, (plus 2 grandkids), were all impressed! Rosemary has done a phenomenal job with this gorgeous home! Very clean, extremely well-equipped, comfortable beds, sheets, and pillows! We loved Rosemary's very talented touch all throughout the home. And, of course the view is amazing!!!! We had a great time at this home! The 10 and 11 year olds loved the ping pong table and pool table so much!! The views were amazing! We enjoyed the mud creek falls hike and the Rabun bald hike as well! We never found a great place to fish but it was also really cold while we were there. Probably not the best fishing weather anyway. We enjoyed using the hot tub near the pool also. The house could use some updating when it comes to decor and such, but it was still VERY cozy and the bed my husband and I slept in was very comfortable! We so enjoyed our stay and Rosemary was an excellent host! Thank you!

I can not get tire of this property. the owner its great. the view is Magical. and the pure Air that only the mountains can offer. including the water falls. or horse riding by the creek. this place had healing properties for the soul. thank you for the opportunity. we can not stop thinking of coming back. it is awesome.

We were very happy with our stay here. The house has lots of living space for various age groups. The young grandchildren enjoyed the game room with ping pong, pool and darts. We all enjoyed the large family room on the top floor that has the kitchen open to the rest of the room. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking implements, staples and spices. The decks on every level give wonderful views of the mountains. We are definitely coming back next year!

Our group of 12 just left to come home today after a week of vacation. We had ages 6 months to 68 years. What a fantastic home! Each one of us rated it a 20 plus! The home is just gorgeous. Everything you could possibly need was available. I have never stayed in a rental home that was stocked so well. Everything from paper towels to dishwasher detergent was provided. We had access to the country club and pool, which was beautiful and we spent many afternoons there. We actually walked to the pool one day (it is less than a mile), but it was not an easy stroll. The home has room for everyone with 3 separate living rooms and the 3 porches were the most popular spot for all of us. Thank you Rosemary for checking in with us and sharing your fabulous home. Hopefully, we will be back.

Great house for anyone. My elderly rat terrier gives the main floor 5 paws and Rosemary is super nice. Plenty of fun games, puzzles and books. Pool table and ping pong were a hit with our adult kids. Be prepared to be 10 minutes from groceries. We made a planned trip to stock up for the week. Plenty of resteraunts within 30 minutes. Note:. Pool is not walkable. Golf is great.

The house was great for our group of 9, 5 years old to 81. Plenty of room to spread out or all be together. The top porch was the favorite morning gathering place, with its fabulous views and bird watching, especially the humming birds. The table was big enough for all us for meals. We brought a slow cooker but there was one at the house. We had a pool tournament and a ping pong tournament. The hiking in the area was excellent. The WiFi was completely adequate for 8 cell phones, 4 iPads and 3 computers. One person needed to stay in touch with work and had no problems. We would recommend Cupboard Cafe in Dillard, Goats on the roof in Tiger, definitely The Ugly Dog in Highland, Annie’s Cafe with live music on Friday and Saturday in Scaly Mountain and especially the Dillard House. Even one afternoon of rain was memorable, sitting on the top porch watching the clouds and rain move in, the mountains in the distance disappear. A great week.

As homeschooling moms, we brought our seniors to GA for a fun, relaxing getaway before they graduate in May. The cabin was beautiful; the three floors gave everyone space to enjoy their activities while in the cabin. The property had all that we needed and more. We enjoyed riding horses in the river at the Dillard House, Black Mountain State Park, Mud Creek Falls, snowtubing (in the rain) at Spivey Mountain, the Cupboard Cafe, Goats on the Roof, and Tallulah Gorge State Park. Thanks to Rosemary for being a wonderful hostess!
