• You are in the mountains, which is what you're here for!! With those mountain views come steep and narrow roads. While the road is paved, when wet and/or snowy these roads can be slippery.
It is highly recommended that you have a 4 wheel drive with good tires. Refunds will not be given to guests who come with a vehicle that isn't suited for this type of terrain
• Speaking of mountains, you're in nature! This means there are all types of animals and critters living in the surrounding woods. One of these are bears. These bears are not afraid of being around humans, and are foragers that are constantly looking for your leftovers to eat.
This means you should not leave items that smell in your vehicle, whether that is food, cosmetics, or anything else. Bears have been known to enter cars in search of their next meal. This also means trash either needs to be kept in the cabin, or in the bearproof trash cans at all times.
Ultimately, the best way to keep nature in nature is to keep your doors and windows closed!
• Shower dispensers are filled with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. If you have specific allergies or preferences please feel free to bring your own
• Please keep in mind this is a home, not a hotel, and if an issue arises we will do our best to resolve it ASAP, but nobody is living on site 24/7
• A starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, dish soap and a sponge will be provided. This may not be enough for the entirety of your stay. If you have any specific brands or additional items that you would like to have, please visit a pharmacy or supermarket in town.

If our family could rate this home a 10, we would! Our Tennessee mountain escape was perfect from start to finish. The ease of entering the home was ideal and the APP to download was an incredible tool to understanding anything we needed to know about the house as well as served the area. With a sparkling clean presentation, our family of 5 immediately felt warmly welcomed and enjoyed all of the home’s amenities - to certainly include the game room and hot tub with an unforgettable view. It felt like heaven to sip on tea overlooking the Smokies and we could not have been happier with our stay. Thank you!!! We made the most beautiful and special memories during our stay.

great property. beautiful house. A little of a drive from Gatlinburg but not bad. Love that they included a toddler gate for the stairs and a high chair. The drive to the house from the main road is not bad at all. The driveway is also not steep at all compared to other places we stayed that were scary.

The check in process and even the communication before we finished the full booking was great. The location is on a moutain so the roads were steep but still manageable. The place is beautiful just like the pictures. The only small detail that could be worked on is a good dusting between guest but other then that the stay was great.

Very clean and nice inside. The weeds were grown up outside. The sign for the property had weeds grown up around it so we weren’t able to see it and we passed the property. Spider webs outside on balconies. Overall very nice and would stay here again.

The cabin was the best part of our trip. It was super clean, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was wonderful with a beautiful view of the mountains. The game room was perfect for our kids and kept them entertained for hours. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing views from the porch. Clean house, just like the photos. My kids enjoyed the large bunk beds and game room downstairs. Enjoyed the neighborhood and accessibility to gatlinburg and pigeon forge. Will definitely come back to this rental in the future and recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful week at Ridgeview Retreat, the mountain cabin near Gatlinburg. It definitely is up on the side of the mountain, and the road in and out feels steep and winding, but it's well paved and we hardly ever saw any other cars. The house is really just 10-15 minutes from both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, which was super convenient. The house is clean and modern and well-appointed. Our 3 kids stayed downstairs on the bunk beds, while my husband and I had a bit of privacy with the upstairs all to ourselves. The kids absolutely loved the air hockey table, and we all enjoyed the hot tub out on the deck every night after we came home from our adventures. Although we could see other cabins on the mountainside, we never heard any noise, and it felt like it was just and the stars. The indoors was cozy too, with an electric fireplace on each level, and a well working thermostat to keep us warm. Would highly recommend!

Location is great, the view from the cabin was absolutely stunning. The cabin was beautiful, perfect size for my family of 4. The kids loved the games. John was responsive in communication and very nice. I did address the cleanliness of the cabin and he offered to send the cleaners right back out. He definitely wants his guest to be happy. Great new cabin in a very wooded area. We had some trouble with a faulty smoke detector but the owner was great about getting it replaced immediately. It’s a little farther outside of Gatlinburg than we realized (20-25 min) but it’s in a really nice and quiet development. The game room was tons of fun. We would definitely stay there again!

This cabin was perfect for our anniversary weekend in the Smokies. It was exactly as described and pictured in the listing. It’s located in the Pitman Center area, close to the arts and crafts district and the Greenbrier entrance to the Smoky Mountains. The view from the top deck was spectacular!
One thing to note, if you’re planning to enjoy some intimate adult time in the master bedroom, the bed makes lots of noise. It didn’t hamper our fun since it was just the two of us. If you have kids or other guests staying at the cabin, it’s just something to keep in mind.
We also had a black furry four-legged visitor. He was looking for food and found an empty potato chip bag at the cabin next to ours. We watched him from the top deck and got some great photos.

We had a great weekend at this beautiful house - which was the perfect house for a weekend away with friends and kids.
