This unique, chalet style house, enjoys a very central location In north Denver, minutes to downtown Denver, walking distance to Regis university, close to numerous trendy restaurants in the highlands and Tennyson Street. You are close to a lot of hot spots and action packed entertainment. Property is located a few blocks to highway I-70 with quick access to the western slopes, ski areas and many other mountain activities.
5280 Tennyson is a beautiful chalet with cabin feel to make your stay a memorable one.
A wood fire pizza oven, BBQ grill, along with 2 hammocks round out the huge backyard for your outdoor enjoyment.
The massive front porch has great views of the mountains, which makes an excellent spot for your morning coffee or evening cocktail.

The yard (front and back) was full of leaves, debris, and weeds. Inside was clean. Only one of the two showers worked so 4 adult women had to shared one small shower. I communicated with the property manager asking if there was a trick to turning on the shower. They responded that it’s the first they’ve heard of it not working. I replied that the knob wouldn’t turn at all. I never received another response. Luckily we were only there another night. If I visit Denver again, I’ll stay elsewhere.

I booked what I thought was going to be a nice rental. When we arrived, we were not able to gain entry to the property because the keypad was not working. I immediately called VRBO and spoke with Solange, who said she would contact the host but could not reach him. While continuing to walk the outside of the property trying to get in, we found that it was not clean at all. There were globs of dried up food all over the outside furniture. I told her we were going to find a place to stay. I sent a message to Shawn, the host, thru the VRBO app telling him we were going to find a place to stay. Oddly, he wrote back "Trying to check in at 10pm and already complaining about everything under the sun. I'm glad you are not staying at my property. I will contact VRBO in the morning." REALLY?! This was unexpected and a very childish and unprofessional comment for Shawn to make. I paid to stay there and could not gain access. Furthermore, it was not his concern when we arrived. The only prior communication I had with Shawn was to ask if his home had central a/c because most homes do not. And his did not. Otherwise, there were no more messages sent to him about his property. VRBO stated they do NOT refund when renter cannot access property! Only Shawn could do this. But he stole my $530 because I was not able to access his property. VRBO doesn't allow posting pix and screenshots, or I would have posted the conversations here to show. I would absolutely NEVER recommend this property :-(
