The place is nothing more than a coverted, small bedroom, making it very small. No parking whatsoever, can't even pull to the door to unload bags. Next time I'll pay the little extra and get a real hotel room. All check in, room codes, questions need to be done online......hopefully you didn't forget your phone, and have a good data plan.

Internet didn't work and the staff was no help

Climbing 4 flights of stairs with luggage was awful. Very clean and great location. The room was humid. The towels were small and hard. But I understand to keep costs down there maybe some perks that you don’t get in a hotel. Overall the experience was good
3.0 / 5.0
My initial impression upon entering the room was that it was cozy, albeit smaller than anticipated. While the location was excellent, I found a few aspects less than ideal during my stay. Despite the air conditioning running continuously, the humidity indoors remained uncomfortably high, causing my clothes to feel damp. The humidity was unbearable, it was difficult to dry off after showering and it was noticeably more humid inside than outside. Additionally, the bathroom towel provided was smaller and thinner than expected. While the room had its drawbacks, the convenience of the location was a definite highlight. However, considering the price of the suites, I expected higher quality amenities.

This place is run by 'robots.' Do not expect to find any human or personal contact when you arrive or if you have any issues. There is only one language that they understand: MONEY. We were told the unit would only be available at 4pm! No place to put our stuff before then. We were asked to leave though by 11am! Again no place to store our stuff. I asked for ONE hour extra and was told that I would be charged $25 per hour. Needless to say, if you need anything or have a problem, you will never speak to anyone cause no one is there. Everything is automated. They also request $300 in advance and expect you to leave the unit the way you receive it! Cleaned thoroughly. Avoid this place at all costs. A total unethical place.

This property was booked but I couldn't utilize the apartment on this date because my phone was lost later to be retrieved by another person after the date of this booking.

I really enjoyed staying at your Suite at 40 Temple St. The building had such an inviting entrance. The room was wonderful. Great night's sleep. Very nicely appointed. I would definitely stay here again!
I look forward to staying at some of your other locations too!

Small and old room, although bathroom was nicely renovated. Blinds do not block light - recommend eye mask. Carpet had burn marks. A woman was vaping and toweling herself off by the front door who did not like a resident, but someone from the streets - I quickly unlocked the door and closed it so she would not follow me inside.

Excellent stay in a convenient part of town. Love that everything was online and easy from booking, to checkin, property entry codes to checkout. Will stay again!

The problem is that you need to be very careful about what you tell them about check in I told them 530 I got there at 5 and the code they gave me apparently would Not work until 530 so I had to wait outside in the street and called them twice before they issue another code

Great location! Cozy - perfect for resting after a long day of taking in the city.

Nice place, good location, easy to reach out for assistance. The lock didn’t work as the instructions stated and our fridge didn’t work, They resolved both the issues during our stay.
2.0 / 5.0
Clearly an overpriced property that offers nothing other than a place to sleep. It is what it is, which is fine. Just waaaaayyy too expensive for what you get. Be a part of the solution, don’t contribute to the problem.
3.0 / 5.0
Overpriced for the service that you get. Complicated check in system.
4.0 / 5.0
Excellent location, it was clean and has a small kitchen (what we needed!). I saw review people complained about locker beep, it's indeed was a bit annoying, but similar to police siren sounds which no one could control. The biggest problem for us was a too soft mattress, so if your back is sensitive to this, you are rather to be prepared. Another inconvenience was only one chair in the room, so for 2 people, it was really weird to have a meal: one had to sit on a bed.

Well located. Beautiful building. Beautiful district.
However, the refrigerator did not work.
We were two people and there was only one chair to sit on. Very small room. Broken wardrobe door.
The noise of the automatic lock was too loud, it woke us up. The cleaning could have been done better, hair that didn’t belong to us in the bathroom.

The property was clean and very convenient however it is very small. The water in the building is inconsistent and hot water in the shower only lasted 2-3min. The host was very responsive and the price was affordable.

Don't have power washing going on right outside the window at 7 am.

My particular room was super tiny, but it was all i needed as a traveler going alone. I can see how others would be cramped in it however. Great location! Smack dab in the middle of all youd want in Boston!

I loved this place!!!!

Located in a great area, steps from the state capitol and a 10-minute walk to downtown. Had a problem with some leaks during a rainy time, never had anyone come help out with it but was told I would. Overall, it's a good place to stay - heated bathroom floors were amazing. Decent bed. The beeping to get in and out of the building and rooms is very loud, so if you're a light sleeper you will wake up every time someone comes or goes. Nothing that made me wish I hadn't stayed there, overall really great, just a few things could be done to make it an AMAZING place (which it has the potential to be)

Great location. Nice building. Basic but reasonable room. Not the most comfortable bed. Uncomfortable desk chair. You can hear everyone and everything from people in the hallway. Bath towels are atrocious....the towels alone will keep me from ever returning.

Great location! Comfortable, historic charm, and very reasonable. Close to delicious food, fun bars, and historic sites! I would definitely stay here again.

Great spot for sure. Convenient and close to everything downtown. Very clean. Just be prepaid to put a deposit down for security. Make sure to read your email with communication for your passcode for keyless entry.

It was amazing , great location to see a concert at the garden . No stress about walking far back to the place .
4.0 / 5.0
I liked the ease of using a door code to enter the building and the room, since I arrived from a flight after midnight it was nice to not have to deal with any people or make special arrangements for a late check-in. I did receive a lot of emails and texts ahead of my trip asking me to fill out arrival surveys and departure checklist and upload my ID - and this was all a bit stressful. I was busy, so it made me feel like I might have forgotten to submit something and I worried that I wouldn't be able to get in the building. Everything was fine in the end though. First floor is brutal with the loud beeping of other people entering the property using the door codes, but I guess if you're just there for 1 night it's not a big deal. The bed was very uncomfortable too, but otherwise room had everything you need. For my purpose of just needing a few hours in a room between flights, this was good value.

The location was central to the most interesting historical sites in Boston. It's an easy walk to many of them. The street and building are very charming. The room includes a mini kitchen so you can makes some meals there.
The room was cold and it took a long time for the room to heat up. Changing the towels and linens, as well as cleaning, are extra costs and not really worth it. I paid for extra towels but they only replaced some of them.
5.0 / 5.0
Personally liked the fact I could check in online. Made the whole process fast and easy. The only part I didn’t like was that people were not respectful of the quiet hours and no smoking policy.

Small, pricey, but cozy. Nice to walk to TD Garden for the show. If you got the $$ it's worth it.

Adorable cozy studio room with very functional setup. The street is charming and was an easy walk to everywhere I needed to go.

The photos of the place look nothing like the actual room. Based on photos, I expected a table on which to set my computer and got a glorified ottoman. Broken lamp. The WiFi tried to install malware on my computer. There were lots of kitchen utensils that had food particles left on them from the last guest.
It took a tremendous force of will not to adjourn my trip and book a short notice flight out of this place.,

On a cute tiny street in Beacon Hill, with a teeny park right beside it. Nice little room, great shower. However, nightstand and sink in cooking area were not wiped clean. Also, the building has limited control over the heating apparently (city regulations and old system), but I was too warm and found out you can get fans only AFTER I left, the info was hard to browse on a cell. Finally room 4 has the head of the bed right against the wall beside the entrance, so you can hear every beep of people entering. It's a good place, has character, but definitely some quirks/issues.

I loved how beautiful this street was and the easiness of going in and out of the property. With my plane coming in early and leaving late, check-in/ check-out was a breeze. I actually recommended the property to my Lyft driver.

To enter the condo, I was told I will recieve a 4-digit code 24 hrs before my arrival by email. I RECEIVED NO CODE.
Arrived at between 5-6pm and called the only number Maverick Suites showed. No answer. I could not use the condo on the first day. At 9:45pm that night, they send me the code and said that they had forwarded in to Expedia. Why would they do that when I made the reservation through HOTES.com. I stayed the second night but I asked Maverick how I should proceed to be refunded for the first night I did not use. NO RESPONSE. I now turn to HOTELS.com for this information how to be refunded. Please send me an email with your response.
