Hotel was terribly understaffed. Those who worked there were wonderful

Almost every thing

The breakfast was terribly understaffed. I felt really sorry for the one very nice young lady who was trying to keep food available for 100s of people Much of the time during the 30 minutes we were there, the food was taken by the first guests, waiting in line for everything to be refilled. Literally there was no food available for most people who were standing around waiting. We finally left and went to a nearby restaurant

Location when visiting the Ark was perfect. Clean hotel and comfortable beds. Free breakfast exceeded expectations.

Clean, the room was well organized. great breakfast and the pool was great for kids

The only thing that I can even think of is, really not crazy about barn door on bathroom.

Very clean hotel, excellent breakfast, very friendly staff, overall excellent experience!

The location was perfect to go to the Ark Encounter, you were able to walk because it was right next door. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices, with a very comfortable area to eat it. The entire Hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. One night we sat outside in a sitting area where there was a gas firepit. The entire experience was excellent, and I would stay there again if in the area.

CONFORTABLE PLACE

I trip with my son to visit the Ark Encounter and found this great hotel with a view of room 327 (you can see the ark ) good breakfast, coffee 24 hours available; I will return with my husband now; 3 days is not enough to visit Kentucky; near the hotel are two excellent restaurants 8 minutes away, CRACKER BARREL OLD COUNTRY STORE-1131 fashion ridge rd, dry ridge and KELLIE'S HOMESTEAD-1108 fashion ridge rd, dry ridge.

On my trip, I only had three days to visit this place. I want to see: Mammoth Cave on my list, places to eat great chicken, eat derby pie, and enjoy the mint julep; I will return with my list rs

Wonderful, clean, neat and delicious breakfast.

breakfast was always ready and hot. The staff maintained the food--there was always plenty. The Inn has a policy of not having the room cleaned unless it is 4 night stay. That was not a problem at all. It leaves the staff to be able to take of the other rooms. When we needed something all we did was ask and they were very helpful.

Great Location, Great Staff, but Clean needed some work

We had planned to go to the Ark Encounter the next day so it was very convenient to be 5 minutes away.

I am not really sure if our sheets were new when we got there because they had way too much human hairs on the sheets.

Truly hard booking in at the desk (took about 30 minutes, which meant we couldn’t swim) and the pool temperature was cool not pleasant. Not the cheapest option, but then charged another $5 for parking????

Met Expectations

The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Overall the hotel itself was nice and clean.

The $5 parking fee. This was an unepcextednfee I encountered upon check in that should have been wrapped into the total of the stay. Also, you should not have to pay for parking when you’re staying there. That’s ridiculous.

Ok, will not come back until trying other hotels in the area.

Location to Ark and inside pool

For the money the bedding should be updated and added touches. It is a nice hotel but I pay a lot less for even nicer more updated facilities. I am assuming since location you feel you can charge more, which is fine but provide the extra in quality towels, bedding etc. Breakfast was lacking- offer a more generic scrambled egg and regular and chicken sausage- another station for waffles and more selection for muffins, yogurt. Again, for the price- you need to offer better.

Great room, staff, location, terrible shower

We liked the size of the room, the breakfast offered, the gate access to the Ark. The staff were very kind, helpful and friendly.

The shower was horrible, too little water and we had to use extra time to rinse soap off which took forever. The pool was very cold, and I thought there was supposed to be a hot tub according to the website.

It was a great stay except for that last night.

I enjoyed being able to have breakfast at the hotel and it was delicious. We came to visit the Ark and being able to just walk from the hotel was very convenient. We also visited the Creation Museum and the hotel was about 35 minutes away.

We had a nice stay our first 2 night, but the 3rd night was horrible due to some inconsiderate people. Apparently a big group of people showed up drunk around 10:00. they were being loud in the hall and some were partying above us until around 1:00 in the morning. Me along with several others reported it but the girl at the desk was working alone. The cops came and ran them out of the lobby but they just went to their rooms being loud. I know this isn't the hotels fault but it made for a long night with kids not sleeping well.

I would stay again or recommend it to a friend but I would look for a better price near by.

Staff was excellent, friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. I did think it was a bit pricy. Breakfast was well done and fresh.

The pool was cold. Even the kids in it said it is cold.

The room was big, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very attentive and the breakfast was very good

The public mens bathroom in the lobby was for one person. Most hotels have multiple stalls in the bathroom so that more than one person can use it.

Was a great stay, everything was great. Beds a bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast is the only thing I wish

Trip was to see the Ark, and you’re as close as you can get without sleeping in the parking lot. It’s great after a full day of walking to just turn right out of the parking lot and take another right and you’re back at the hotel. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

The breakfast was kinda pointless. Never had eggs, sausage only one day out of two, no bacon any day. Only thing they had really was bagels and waffles. They should offer way more options for breakfast. Only other breakfast options are about 15-20 minutes away.

It was wonderful

The breakfast and location. Everybody was very friendly.

The only issue I had was my hair straightener would short circuit the whole room. Maintenance came and even tried to plug it up and turn it on in another room, but it did the same thing. I was appreciative for him to try to resolve the issue, so it made it even less of a big deal
