Beautiful hotel, great location and lovely rooms.

Great location with fabulous views. Lots of bars and restaurants close by.

Pool area was lovely with comfy sun loungers but was missing sun umbrellas which meant it wasn’t possible to enjoy the sunshine or the pool area for more than fifteen minutes. It’s possible that this is the intention of the hotel to minimise the time spent there but I’d say that’s unlikely. More likely is it’s an oversight, but a rather large one in my opinion.

Un vrai séjour de plaisir, détente en famille

Cet hôtel est vraiment très bien, les chambres spacieuses (chambre familiale) petit déjeuner vraiment copieux. L’établissement est moderne, très propre, piscine vue Océan ainsi que les chambres, même si elle ne sont pas toutes face à lui. La salle de fitness a du bon matériel.Je recommande vivement cet établissement. Possibilité de bonnes balades digestives le soir. L’emplacement est très bien

Le service voiturier un peu cher mais il y a un parking en face et à coté de l’hôtel

Never Again…

Location to beach..not a lot of restaurants to choose from in walking distance when you don’t want to deal with the valet constantly.

Valet, was the worst, massive issue on way in, no carts for our belongings, loads of valet who could of found us one, I had to follow another guest to their room to get one. ( told guests staying overnight like to keep in their rooms). Finally got cart and car was valeted …so had to wait to get car back out to unload.. room was noisy, then valet LOST keys the morning of checkout, 40 min we searched, tried to get Marriott manager involved, she refused to see me, she finally came out when my husband made it so she had to, was going to make a scene… she said it has nothing to do with Marriott who contracts with valet company….well Marriott contracts with them so fault rolls to Marriott. I was disgusted by her unprofessionalism…. Worst run Marriott I have ever stayed at. They said they found keys in the drawer, which was a lie..I helped rifle thru the drawers to find keys, keys were not in drawer….A valet from night before came to help “ look” for keys, which leads me to believe he had keys on him by mistake and it was a cover up. I hate being lied to…..We stay at Marriotts all over the world and will never ever stay here again…horrible valet service, horrible management….not to mention, the door to the beach , which is open to valet cars is always unlocked, that is not safe…… we will also contact Marriott directly regarding this issue.

The only real concern I had was that my balcony door would open unexpectedly. It was rather unsettling when coming back from an outing and seeing the door ajar.

Nice clean and quiet

I love the fact that the rooms were clean and the property was very clean as well.

I requested a partial ocean view room, needless to say I ended only being able to see the building beside us, and my price was not adjusted. The bed was so hard, not comfortable at all. I would have liked to not have to fight with people going to the beach for a parking spot. The only other option was to pay $28/day to valet park.

On the beach, close to shopping, and food. Great location. Very clean property. Valet parking, breakfast included. Nice staff.

Crowded. I would suggest arriving on a week day less crowded. Breakfast is from 7-10 but if you do not go early food is gone quickly.

IT WAS FANTASTIC

SpringHill suites has a clean, luxury stay. The staff was very nice. The pool and bar was really nice with great staff. The veiw is amazing. The location is near lots of local restaurants on Jacksonville beach.

The breakfast food was good but more variety would be better. There could have been lids for the drinks on the breakfast bar to carry out. There could have been breakfast grits for the breakfast bar.

Pros and cons

Close proximity to access beach .. and easy access to beach..chairs and umbrellas..

Nosie from all over the lower levels and the doors from balconies swinging all night banging from people leaving them open over night hours. And young children have parents who don't care an let their children run banging on the walls and jumping. You can hear from below level. Complaint was made . Nothing was the result...!!!

Having to go to the ER at 2:00 am there were staff with a wheelchair at our door and at the valet pa

It was close to the ocean. The Sunbar was right near the ocean.

The roudy noise after midnight and the racing car making a lot of loud sounds late in the night.

See above! We had a good time but over crowded and delays on elevator were all the time !

The location was good and bad! Good location close to good restaurants and on the beach very close to the pier! Bad thing was bars are also across the street and every night they close at 2 and it was very loud and busy in our room with music playing loudly and young adults screaming from partying etc! Most nights we didn’t go to bed until 2:30am because of this!

See above! But also the homeless are all around the building at night! They were pan handling and some asked for our leftovers which ofcourse we gladly gave them! Also over crowded with people everywhere which caused delays on elevator!

Beautiful hotel and staff, surroundings felt unsafe. Will not return.

Hotel was amazing, staff was amazing. Food was wonderful!

The homeless population camped out on every corner, side stairwell exits, front and back…following and approaching us several times, made us and my elderly parents feel unsafe to walk outside the hotel gates and on the beach. They were camped out under the beach pier and constantly surrounding hotel exits. It’s unfortunate for all involved. We will not be returning because of this.

There was so many gnats everywhere in our room, and in the hallways. There was a restaurant in the hotel, so you would assume they would have a menu in room, but they didn’t, there was no phone list in the room, the laundry didn’t take credit card, it takes quarters and that would’ve been okay but there’s no machine to make change, we rented a family room for 5 people and a toddler and there was only 3 towels in the room, no sheets to make up the trundle bed that the room has, my family used the pool and there was no towels at the pool, my wife asked for towels for my kids and was told that they would bring some out, after 40 minutes and no towels I went to asked and was told that they ran out, and had to wash more.
