This was our second stay at the property and it was wonderful, again! The house is large enough for our group of 6 and the pool was wonderful. Very relaxing and a short few minute walk to the beach. The walk is super easy. We used the grill this time and that was nice. We used the beach buggy and took chairs, an umbrella, sand tools all provided in the house. A couple of the things we enjoyed in the area: We also did a sight-sea-r cruise from fort Myers beach for the first time and loved it. We chose the shelling and eco tour because it gave us the chance to snorkel off big hickory key and look for shells. We played mini golf at pirates cove. We loved our dinners at Doc Fords, Dixie fish company, Love Boat ice cream. Thanks for sharing your wonderful beach house!

We had so much fun at Dolphin Run Retreat. The house had everything we needed for a great family vacation. It came equipped with umbrellas, chairs, and a wagon for the beach in the morning and a pool for the afternoon. It was so close to the beach we also went to star gaze a few nights. The rooms were also nice with enough room for everyone to spread out and have a little space too. Overall, we would definitely stay here again next time through.

This turned out to be a nearly perfect place for our family to stay for our Florida vacation. The house is attractive, well maintained, and well laid out for a group like ours. There was plenty of space for all three generations to relax in, with space to share when we wanted to be together, and space to retreat into when we wanted time to ourselves. One of our favorite features was the screened-in lanai, which always seemed to catch a cooling breeze, even on the hottest days. We spent most of our quiet time out there, and ate all our meals out there, too. The young kids loved spending all their non-beach-time in the pool. The shallow end is just the right depth for a six year old to play in without help, and an adult can stand up in the deep end to provide support when the kids want to be adventurous. The adults loved watching them and joining in the play in the bug-free screened-in enclosure. The house is located just three blocks away from a beautiful white-sand beach. Our whole group walked there multiple times a day to enjoy the gentle surf, with waves just big enough to give a convincing "ocean experience" but small enough to allow the kid to play independently. With the beach so close, we even went out on after dark beach combing expeditions, where we experienced a variety of sea life that is not seen during the day. (Be sure to bring head lamps if you plan to do this.) Overall, I can't imagine a better place to stay for a fun and relaxing vacation.

We had a wonderful time at Dolphin Run Retreat. Easy short walk to the beach where we were practically alone. Wonderful sunsets every evening with a nice group of locals and their dogs. The shuttle stop on the corner is quite convenient. We really didn't need a car. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Loved having the private pool and patio. Appreciated the wagon, chairs, umbrella and coolers for use at the beach. We would love to stay here again. It was everything we were looking for.

Jeffrey is an excellent host. He responded to our needs quickly. The home is located near the beach and a short drive to Publix grocery store. We enjoyed the beach daily with beach chairs and umbrella. Wonderful home to relax and enjoy family time. Thank you for sharing your house.

We recently spent 5 nights at this property in Fort Myers Beach, FL and had a fantastic trip. The house was exactly as described on the VRBO listing and was ideal for our family of 5. My children very much enjoyed the pool. Everything was clean and all the listed amenities were available. The owner responded immediately via text message to a few simple questions I had during our stay. You can actually see the ocean from the house for now at least until they finish rebuilding the whole neighborhood and the walk from the house until your feet are in the ocean is literally less than 5 minutes. There is a beach ready wagon at the property which makes getting chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc. to the beach very easy. Publix, a supermarket, is now open and is about a 3 minute drive from the house. The town of Fort Myers Beach is very much still rebuilding however the beaches were all open and are beautiful. The town itself seems to be coming back to life. Several restraunts have opened back up recently most towards the top of the island and we very much enjoyed eating at waterfront tables when dining out.

We loved our stay at this property and it was a perfect location for our family. A short walk to the beach, screened in pool, grill, and screened porch were a few of our favorite things. Laundry on property was a bonus. House was very clean and the manager was extremely responsive. Easy and wonderful stay. The public beach access is just at the end of the street and less than a block to walk. We love it in FMB! This was a great property!

This property was perfect for what we wanted, a family vacation on the beach. The house was clean and had exactly what we needed. The front upstairs screened-in porch was perfect to read a book or do some work. The walk to the beach was really close, less than 5 minutes walking slow, and the shelling was great especially early morning. We really enjoyed the pool. The owner/property manager is a quick text away and answers questions promptly. Publix is now open, as well as the Dixie Fish Company, for an amazing meal, and Smugglers Cove golf. We also drove the 45 minutes to do a boat tour on Captiva Cruises to Cabbage Key and loved that. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home, we plan to be back!

Great home!! The House is really close to the beach. Ft myers beach is still very affected from the hurricane. But this house was clean. Great communication with owner. The Pool, extra room, and half bath all on bottom floor. Everything else upstairs. We Loved the screened in patio upstairs and screened in pool area.

Property was in very good condition, clean and many conveniences such as beach equipment. The only trouble spot was the master show water was warm, not hot, so I used the guest bath to shower. Jeffrey was amazing and gave us tips prior to arrival and during the stay. We would definitely use this property or similar properties again. #FMStrong

The house was very clean. We’ve stayed at several houses over the years and some have questionable cleanliness. Not this house. The house was very clean. The location was great. Just a short walk to the beach where it felt like we were on our own private beach. The pool and outside areas were great for hanging out, eating and playing with the kids. The host is incredibly responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place.

Had a lovely time at Fort Myers Beach. The property was clean, recently renovated and perfectly outfitted for a family. Extra beach wagon, kids games, we could have asked for nothing. It's seconds from the beach. Communication with property owner was quick and efficient and he was exceptionally helpful. It was also nice to see the community of Fort Myers Beach rebuilding and to be able to support those businesses.

The house has everything you need for a great time at Ft. Myers Beach. The beds are very comfortable and the furnishings are perfect for a family gathering. The pool is great and the host was excellent at providing information. This is an exceptional place to stay and I highly recommend it.
