Situated within easy walking distance of Settle/Stainforth and Giggleswick, along idyllic rural pathways and within the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Packed with history, this property was built in the 1600’s and was a previous bolt hole for Prince Charles.
Recently converted from the Old Farmhouse and adjacent Farmhouse Barn, both the owners and the National Park have worked hard to preserve this absolute treasure.
This opulent cottage offers exposed beams, original 1600’s flagstone floors and beautiful stonework on display.
On the ground-floor you will find a stunning open plan, spacious lounge with log burner and underfloor heating, perfect for those large family gatherings.
This leads to a cosy snug with a huge flat screen Freesat TV.
The sumptuously grand dining room is located next to living room.
It features another large log burner, flat screen Freesat TV and a huge solid oak farmhouse table that is perfect for those big celebration meals!
Onwards to a lavish kitchen with breakfast bar, AGA (along with guide and Mary Berry’s AGA cookbook!), integrated dishwasher, double oven, electric hobs and all the equipment you could need.
The ground-floor also features a stunningly converted, easy access double bedroom which includes a luxury en-suite wet room with waterfall shower.
These, as well as a ground-floor family bathroom, are ideal for the less mobile.
Upstairs you will find five stunning and spacious bedrooms, all with unique character features including fireplaces, exposed beams, and window seats.
The upstairs bathrooms comprising of a modern chic en-suite and a beautiful family bathroom, again with exposed beams, quirky arrow slit windows and a waterfall shower.
To the rear of the property a large, stone-wall enclosed, private garden awaits.
Perfect for relaxing in the large double hammock, or on the rattan sofas and chairs.
The Kadai Fire Pit is ideal for a large group barbecuing and roasting marshmallows.
However it’s the large luxury hydrotherapy spa is the icing on the cake for this cottage and is to be enjoyed throughout the year!
The mature enclosed garden features a child safe pond and small waterfall and is also perfect for keeping canine friends safe too.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the idyllic tranquility of the prolific local birdsong, including the resident owl!
There is also Superfast-Fibre Broadband throughout the cottage and grounds.
For days out (should you wish to leave) there is direct access to the fells from a public bridleway within metres of the cottage and excellent cycle routes and walks from the doorstep along quiet lanes.
There are also multiple lovely pubs, cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance of the cottage door.
All serving hearty Yorkshire fare with a warm welcome.
