Check-in was easy. There was hair all over the bathroom floor and tub. The soap dish in the bathroom had old soap stuck to it, as did the countertop next to the sink. The place needed a cleaning, but I arrived late, was spending one night and didn't shower or remove my shoes.

If it wasn’t for a wedding I had to shower and get dressed up for….i would have rather slept in my car in a Walmart parking lot!!! It was an absolute disgrace. I don’t know how this place even still has a foundation honestly!!! I’ve never had to soak a room in Lysol like I did this one and go buy insect traps just to be on the safe side!!!

No phone in a room. Remote can talk TV did not work. Shower sprayed over into the rest of the room. I had used towels to dry it up. When I came back to the room that evening they had not cleaned up the towels in the room. Did not know there was no room service because there was no pamphlets indicating that, no breakfast food . Entry lobby was dirty. And door in bathroom was dirty.

The first thing you see when you enter tge Lobby is a sign that says you can't stay there longer than 20 mins. Very strange. The checkin man was friendly but the hotel is very run down. And there is no tea or coffee facilities in the lobby or room. Just very tired.

The listing claimed that there were pillow top beds, down comforters. The beds were small, old and bagged out. The beds had thin poly fleece blankets. The front desk asked for a 100 security deposit ( but did not charge me for it) The room was small and very grimy with unpainted drywall patches and a weird smell. My kids felt unsafe. We were booked for two nights but only stayed one because it was so uncomfortable.

We arrived and had a very bad feeling about this facility. They were making fake id cards in the parking lit, then took them inside a the hotel attendant took pictures of the id, and she was paid in cash. There were several cars sitting outside, with people in them, nit guests of the hotel. We asked to cancel the reservation and told we could not. We left immediately and stated at another facility. The safety of my family was in jeopardy and DOD really needs to investigate.

This is the single most unclean and unsafe property I have ever stayed in, and that is saying a lot. I am a former service member and have stayed in 3rd world nations around the globe. This was worse than any of those by far.

We were deceived as the photos online looked much better than reality of the conditions. The place is an old, dirty dump. Old and clean is one thing, but old, dirty and creepy is another. There were old mattresses outside & propped up next to entries. We were told our room had a pool view. The pool was empty, dirty with demolition rubble around it. The few people people wandering around the pool area and property looked like living dead. Soon after checking in, we left to find another hotel then came back to turn in the key, sacrificed our pre-payment and additional $100 security deposit that they asked from us upon checking in. It was so twilight zone strange. This place should closed down.

The pictures of the hotel looked good, but when i arrived it looked different. The dining area was closed The game room was closed. The swimming area is also closed. It looked as if families were living there. There was even a man with a pitbull staying at the location.

The price was cheap for a Saturday night stay & close to downtown attractions (~ a 5 minute drive.) Interaction with staff was brief but friendly. Check in /check out was quick - no problems. The faded, front hotel sign read "NOW OPEN", which made me initially think that the hotel may have had some renovations. Overall, the hotel is old, dirty, and in need of many, many updates / renovations. The lady who checked us in told us our room overlooked the pool, I was briefly excited. It did, but the pool was empty w/ stagnant water puddled at the deep end. As an employee, I don't think I would have led with that but would've rather let guests know that the pool was closed or under repair. There was a presence of couple of questionable people on the grounds that always seemed to be hanging outside. I wasn't sure if they were guests, employees, or homeless. As a result, I would not walk around alone. The room was also old and dirty. I spent the first couple minutes cleaning all the high touch areas b/c these areas felt sticky & looked dirty. The bed was comfortable and appeared to be the cleanest part of the room; however, the fitted sheet may have been dirty or stained, not really sure, so we slept over the flat sheet. The hotel was quiet at night, & surprisingly, we slept well. I feel this is an example of you get what you pay for. If you don't mind overlooking these realities for a cheap night away from home, then go for it. As for us, we will not be returning on our next visit.

Everything was great, the only complaint is that the pillows are very uncomfortable and due to this sleep was not good. I would suggest to invest in better pillows.

The pool was empty and dirty. The room had stains on the carpet and everything was old and outdated. There were roaches crawling in the bathroom and there was roach feces on the toilet paper roll. People live in the hotel and they had all of their clothes hanging on the gate surrounding the pool. There were kids running around until very late and there were teens hanging around l. It was a very sketchy hotel. I had no choice but to stay and thankfully I was only sleeping there for a few hours.

Needs a lot of cosmetic work done. Appears to be undergoing a remodel. Tv selection was poor, room needed a facelift but the shower was the bomb!! Great shower great way to start the day !!

This hotel is dirty. There are blaring signs all over the entrance telling what you can't do. Like can't use the rest room, can't be in the lobby unless you are a guest. Front desk agent was not friendly. After I prepaid the room 2 weeks in advance they still insisted on another $100 deposit, which made me furious! The pool had no water. I will never stay in another Rodeway Inn.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this one! The property is disgusting, completely in disarray. Trash everywhere. Drugged up people squatting in rooms. They tried to put us in a dirty room full of garbage and someone's abandoned belongings. Even out Uber driver told us this place is notorious for being the worst hotel around. STAY AWAY!!

This hotel was horrible. Multiple families in our group stayed less time than I did. The room was dirty when i arrived. I spoke with the front desk and cleaning personnel who asked to show them exactly what was wrong while looking at the dirt and large bugs dead on the floor. There were flies all over the room. The toilet was full of garbage, there was smooshed poop on the blanket and hair and dirt all over the tub. After it was clear the cleaning staff had no awareness of clean or dirty, I just left and went to another hotel. It appeared to also be section 8 housing. There were multiple signs reviewing the rules however it was evident they were just for show. Also there is not nor has been a pool in years.

This place wasn’t even worth the low price, filthy, run down, felt unsafe. I didn’t even know places like this existed outside of movies about drugs and murder. Yes, that bad. Would absolutely recommend to pay a little more and go somewhere else.

Filthy. Nothing like the pictures, garbage and hundreds of cigarette butts on the sidewalks leading into the rooms. Large holes in the walls and ceilings filled with tissues. Door latch locks broken in both rooms.

I arrived was greeted by staff and they were a little unorganized and asked me if I had two room’s because someone else with same first name but different last name had a room there as well, asking if I was sure I didn’t book two separate rooms even after spelling out my name. Was given a room it was clean but had a foul musty smell to it. Definitely did not look like the pictures, the AC was broke I asked if it could be fixed but they offered me a room with two queen size beds. That room was initially dirty but ac worked fine, I asked for house keeping and only got my bathroom cleaned because it was the most dirtiest. Overall it wasn’t too bad, but definitely advertised with pictures that are not from the property. It was convenient for the price and being a last minute trip, but I’m not sure if I’d stay there again.

Upon first impressions it is horrible . Trash and debris all over the place . Had to walk around items that were in the walkway . Check in workers were nice , room was so so other then that avoid at all costs . We came in on a Friday night for a wedding had we had time we would have requested a refund and found another one to stay at . They require a $100 deposit and that is only disclosed at check in by papers on the window . People appear to reside there and I believe that’s a cause of most of the mess and trash . They seem to possibly be remodeling so that could be a cause for debris but it’s not acceptable. The pool is not operational either .
