Doncaster visit

The room was perfect, the location was super perfect, the self-service unbelievably professional. Clean house. It was perfect and worth the 38 pounds.

The bed was not comfortable. I think the mattress needs changing coz it breaks your back. TV stations were poor. Suggest you upgrade to use Netflix.

Clean, quiet and cosy would happily stay there again

Breakfast not provided due to the nature of the accommodation being an apartment not a bed and breakfast. However for free I was upgraded to the kitchenette room which meant I was able to cook my tea and breakfast. The facilities were lovely and clean and they had everything you required to cook a meal. There is also a one stop a few steps away for if stayers want to pick up something.

There wasn't anything I disliked as such. But the touch check in was a little bit temperamental at all. But after a few uses became much more straightforward.

Everything about the building is excellent value and kept up to a very good clean standard.

Clean and not bad for the price.

It was very clean, and the locks on the door felt secure. The location was pretty convenient, within 20 minutes walking distance of Doncaster city centre, so convenient for that.

I should have read the description more carefully as the shared bathroom came as a surprise. However, I didn't meet anyone else staying and it was ok. Coffee sachets were provided in the room but no tea, oddly. The kettle also wouldn't fit under the tap in the bathroom so it was difficult filling it.

Exactly as expected - good value for the price

Good instructions. Good price for the amenities - double bed comfy, shared bathroom clean

It would be good to have a a couple of hooks somewhere in the room, as nowhere to hang coat/clothes

Disappointing

Area is fair

The place wasn't that bad but the strong smell of paint and the chemical used to clean the room was unbearable. The smell of the chemical was on the bed and I had to sleep with the window open all night. I think if they aired the place out and allowed cleaning with job toxic product it sound be so bad. The check in was difficult as the code was wrong and I had heavy bags.

We left after an hour to find somewhere else to stay.

The non smoking room reeked of smoke. Cigarette ash on the furniture, cigarette butts on the window ledge.

It was very difficult to contact the agent/owner and I had to wait over an hour to get the code

It was very difficult to contact the agent/owner and I had to wait over an hour to get the correct door code as there was an error in communication. I had driven 3hrs so waiting another hour sitting outside in my car was frustrating. Once I had the new code, everything was fine. My suggestion would be to answer the phone when your tenant is calling you as it's possible important as it was for me. Also, there was no apology from the person communicating the code and everything was by text or email. My phone battery had died and I had to ask the owners of the chip shop to charge it. Anyway, the accomodation was clean and the shared bathroom was fine. Very cheap for a central location and easy on road free parking. Will book again.
