This is a cute cottage that is in a great spot. It is clean and is perfect for anyone staying with pets. Our puppy enjoyed the fenced in back yard.

We were so happy to find this pup friendly accommodation that’s close to the MCRD where my brother and his family is stationed at. We loved it here and it was so convenient, the backyard was the best and so cute. We will definitely be back here!

Charming Port Royal home was perfect for the family and our dog. The home was updated with all the amenities and a wonderful back yard for our dog. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to returning to this cottage!

Cute little house. Could have been cleaner as the counter in the kitchen was sticky and I had to wash pots before use. Could not use the outside table as the cushions were wet and really dirty. All in all though we had a nice time

We enjoyed our stay at The Happy Cottage. It was close to the activities we came to Port Royal to do. It is dog friendly with a great little fenced backyard and cute little fire pit. The bed in the primary bedroom was comfortable with lots of pillows. The kitchen was a bit of a challenge...very small, no dishwasher or garbage disposal so dishes have to be done by hand. If you eat out a lot or aren't staying long, then it's no big deal but we don't eat out much and stayed the week, so it was slightly annoying to have to do dishes and it wasn't as well equipped as I'd hoped (more big bowls needed) but we made it work and would not be a deal breaker to rent there again, though more dish soap provided would have been helpful because we had to go by some...there wasn't any. It could use a bigger coffer maker also...a two cup pot just doesn't cut it. There are also some minor deferred maintenance issues: the vent in the bathroom is filthy, the door handle to the 2nd bedroom was loose, the can opener in the kitchen doesn't work, the sink stopper in the bathroom doesn't work. None of those things are a big deal...just sharing so they can be repaired.

We really enjoyed our stay. The fenced in yard is huge. Big enough for the puppy to get our her zoomies and play fetch. The house was spotless and well equipped. Would like to return next year.

We needed a place for a few nights this cottage was perfect. We did not bring any dogs with us however when I got there I realized how perfect the cottage would be for my little dog. The cottage is super close to Parris Island and a few really good restaurants. It was clean and had a great outdoor area that was fenced in so you could sit and let your pet run. I would stay here again.

Great neighborhood, cute house, loved the wooden (not chain link) fenced in back yard/patio/firepit area. Our little dog could be outside with us and not see the other neighborhood dogs. Bonus! Has a paved driveway which not all houses in this area have. Easy access for walking or biking the Spanish Moss Trail. We enjoyed our stay very much and will book here again.

Close to everything, Hunting Island pass to use, kitchen nicely stocked for cooking, the backyard was great! Unfortunately, it rained while we were there and a lot was closed, so we relaxed and i cooked meals for us. Very comfy cozy.

We had a great time staying at the Little Cottage. Just the right size for my hubby, myself and our 2 dogs. The dogs loved the backyard. We had some great food especially at Fishcamp on 11th street. Lots of fun shops near fishcamp especially Mrs. Bs.

This little place is absolutely wonderful. Close to everything but the location was so quiet and peaceful. It was very clean and just as advertised. The fenced bark yard is great! Wish we had more than 2 days to enjoy this little place. We would definitely recommend and plan on a return visit.

Renovation & yard were amazing, every little detail covered. Kitchen & bath are very small (no DW) but functional. Host provided note directions for everything! Having lights on auto timer when we returned at night was so cheery & appreciated!

This was a very cute little place. The beds and linens were clean and comfortable and exactly what my family needed after hours of driving. No issues with the WIFI or the appliances. I'm glad we didn't bring the dog as the privacy fence has been knocked over, with a little pile of wood up against the breach to hold it up. The dog would definitely have gotten out. The water pressure is low, but in a way that's a good thing because the tub wasn't draining right and we had to keep plunging between showers. The overall cleanliness was a bit lacking. Sticky counters and cabinets, dirty dishes, blackish fingerprints on the bedroom doors, stained carpeting, and extra "special surprises" of a half liter of bourbon in the cabinet and a partially eaten rice krispy edible on top of the refrigerator. Overall it was adequate because we didn't spend a lot of time there. And that's a shame because it really is a cute little place, in a nice convenient, yet quiet setting. Especially because it's so very close to Parris Island, and we were primarily there to bring our Marine home.

The Little Cottage was perfect for our family of 3, plus 2 dogs. House is updated, clean, and backyard space is great for hanging out and for dogs to play. We will definitely stay again when we return for our next family reunion.

We were pleasantly surprised by how well decorated and organized the property was. The outdoor area was amazing and a great spot to hang out with everyone including our pup! We kept repeating how great the place was and how they had thought of everything a guest could want or need. Wish we could have stayed longer! I only gave 4 stars for cleanliness because there were tennis balls and other dog toys under a lot of the furniture which made our dog go crazy trying to get them.
