Lakefront home with spectacular views, private dock, abundant outdoor seating, chef’s kitchen, game room, and unmatched master bed/bath! Imagine yourself winding down after a day of shopping and dining in downtown Blue Ridge, a short 10-minute drive from Gleesome Inn.

Soaring lake views abound through floor to ceiling windows in this private nestled 7-bedroom lakefront home. Take full advantage of the multiple outdoor seating areas complete with gas firepit on the entry level deck, lakefront gazebo, and dock with multiple seating. Gleesome Inn is also conveniently located on the northwest end of the lake with convenient access to the Lake Blue Ridge marina for gas and provisions as well as several public boat launches to make your lake days easy and stress free. For those who simply can't get away from it all, there are multiple locations at the Inn to work remotely. BUT, put that all away and imagine spending a day on beautiful Lake Blue Ridge, parking your boat or jet ski at your private dock and resting on the outdoor lounge chairs while watching the sun set over the lake!

As you pull up to the house on the paved driveway, you will realize that you do not ever want to leave. Ample parking, manicured grounds complete with fountain and children’s playhouse greet you before ever stepping out of your car. When walking through the front door, you’ll experience that “inn” feeling as you are greeted by the large lounging area complete with ample seating, a flat panel TV and a floor to ceiling stacked stone wood burning fireplace. It’s the perfect place to cozy up.

Transitioning to the dining and kitchen area, your breath will be taken away as you admire the soaring views across the lake through the floor to ceiling windows. In this open concept room, a top-of-the-line chef’s kitchen with 8-burner gas stove and double oven is sure to please every practicing cook in your party. The grand dining table is sure to be a repeated location for your group to sit, dine, and create lifelong memories. This great room also comes with a second lounging area with wet bar.

Directly off the great room is the sprawling master bedroom. Wake in the morning on the king bed and soak in the beautiful views of the lake through the floor to ceiling windows while enjoying your coffee in the seating area provided in the master bedroom. The master bathroom has no equal. Oversized stand-alone tub with custom backsplash, massive double head shower area and double sink is sure to please.

Moving upstairs, you will find a king size bedroom with a sitting area with TV for relaxing and desk with sweeping views of the lake for remote working. Additionally, there is another bedroom with a queen bed and sofa offering a private reading nook. These bedrooms share a custom full bathroom with tiled standing shower.

On the lower level, find a large common area with seating, lake views, and 70" flat panel television. Slide the custom barn style door to find an adjacent bunk room housing two bunk beds, both with twin tops and full bottoms. Mosey down the hallway and find the shared full bathroom with standing shower and a private king bedroom with views of the lake. This is a perfect area for families to enjoy some privacy while also staying together. Also, on this level you will find the oversized laundry room with a high-end washer and dryer set.

Spaces to relax are everywhere at Gleesome Inn with access to the built in Sonos indoors and outdoors for the entry and lower levels. Enjoy the front porch with rocking chairs overlooking the private gardens and waterfall. On the lake side, the main level deck is where you will find the custom gas firepit with seating overlooking the lake. The lower-level deck offers many plush deck seating options as well as an outdoor dining area with seating for 8. Take the beautiful walk down to the gazebo, which is sure to be a favorite spot for you and your guests. This attractive set up is positioned directly on the lake with seating for 9. Between the gazebo and enjoying the additional seating on the dock, it will be difficult to decide where to spend your time.

To accommodate the 16-occupancy lakefront property, venture past the outdoor fountain and into the guest house boasting a regulation size pool table, comfortable couch seating around a mounted flat panel television and is a perfect gathering spot for teens. Additional sleeping quarters are located upstairs with 4 twin beds and a private queen bedroom. This guest house comes complete with a full bath with shower.

The charm of Gleesome Inn is unmistakable. Between the lake opportunities and the lush accommodations of the property, you won’t want to wait to return to the one-of-a-kind experience that this secluded retreat has to offer.

We live locally and have a boat at the LBR Marina. Wanted a gathering place on the lake for extended family vacation. Excellent location near city center. Quick access to marina via boat. Perfectly equipped kitchen. Can't say enough good things about Gleesome Inn.

Our family group of 11 thoroughly enjoyed our week at Gleesome Inn on Lake Blue Ridge.. Waking in the morning to a beautiful lake view from the huge windows set the pattern for a perfect stay. The house is tastefully and comfortably furnished with everything from TVs, games, and books to a puzzle table and fully equipped bar.. Kitchen has every kind of utensil, large quantities of dishes, and two dishwashers. Outdoors we enjoyed the many balcony areas, shaded dock and, swimming access. The extra privacy of the guest house was a treat, and the pool table and darts there were enjoyed by all. We took advantage of many opportunities in the area--shopping and restaurants in Blue Ridge, boat rental at the marina, the train to Copperhill, and white-water rafting. Also enjoyed the wildlife--deer, fox, birds. Something for everybody.

Beautiful cabin on the lake with a wonderful view and with accommodations that were great for the entire family! We all agreed that we needed to return to this cabin for our next family vacation. Thank you for allowing us the use of your beautiful property.

We had a mini family reunion with ages 18 months to 78 years old. Perfect space for everyone to spread out and enjoy. The lake was perfect for swimming and boating. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more. When we had an issue with the dryer, a technician came out the same day and fixed it.
