Breakfast was simple but good. Hotel has a terrific location with great next door restaurants and friendly staff. Even a little bar.

Superb

A unique place, with a wonderful, personal service and a beautiful garden in Monteriggioni. A good base in Monteriggioni for trips to Siena and the towns and villages close by. We recommend Ristorante Le torri in Monteriggioni, reservation ahead recommended (when weather allows, ask for table in front of the restaurant with view to the towns Piazza. We also went to see Verrazano winery (app 45min by car), the wine & food experience they offer (booking online available) is recommendable, great tour, good wine, great food in a very nice setting. Also for a drink or a glass of wine and some cheese/meat platter go to Pit Stop 17, around the corner.

Monterrigioni is a small and the owners have made the most out of the available space but with some limitations, a pool is there, but not for swimming ;-)

Perfetto!

We’d first seen this hotel 16 years ago and I’d always wanted to stay there. We stayed for 4 nights, it was clean, staff very helpful, perfect location. The pool was lovely and refreshing and quiet. Local restaurants all lovely. Good continental breakfast. Lovely view from our room.

Nothing at all, really minor issue hairdryer in bathroom wasn’t great but fine as I’ve only got short hair! The spa by the pool wasn’t in use and just needs cleaning and setting up for the summer - didn’t cause us any issues at all

A wonderful and unique experience

This hotel is situated within the fortified walls of Monteriggioi, so to stay there is very unique. You drive in through the walled gate. Quite an experience. The property has a large car park behind their building, it is quite amazing considering the small size of Monteriggioni.

The initial instructions regarding the parking arrangements could have been clearer but a quick phone call solved that.

Nice stay in medieval walls.

Gently old fashioned and relaxed. Friendly hosts. parking at the hotel. Quiet at night once all the tourists had left town. Good breakfast.

Pool is smaller than it looks on pictures. Hot tub not in action as we were right at season end.

Historic town and building but the hotel owners and staff made the trip for us

Francesco and Francesca were fantastic and their staff exemplary- nothing was too much trouble. They really made our trip and would recommend it to anyone. The hotel itself was so authentic and the walled town of Monteriggioni was spectacular.

This was everything we'd hoped for and more. A real highlight for our trip.

The view out the window was amazing. Staff were incredibly helpful. Room was comfy. Tasty breakfast.

It'd be nice to have extra pillows in the armoire (with the blanket). But it wasn't a problem not to have them.

Absolute gem of Tuscany!

Stayed here with my wife on our honeymoon. This hotel is an absolute gem of Tuscany! The hotel, staff, and location are absolutely fantastic! Francesco, Francesca and Eric are phenomenal hosts who went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. Overall, an absolutely incredible and unforgettable experience. Would certainly recommend and we will definitely be back!

We had asked if we could store our bags after check out at the time of booking and were told this would not be a problem but the guy on reception on the day told us we had to leave.

This was our first night in Italy before the wedding and we could not have found a better place.

We liked the location, walled city and the room was great. The breakfast was amazing out in the back garden. We wish we could have stayed longer. The desk clerk was very helpful.

There is nothing that we didn't like. Everything was great.
