Nonostante alcune cose da rivedere, Il posto è delizioso specialmente le stanze fronte mare.

Mi è piaciuta l'assistenza telefonica per aiutarci ad individuare il posto che è raggiungibile solo a piedi o con mezzi autorizzati a transitare nella area ZTL, mezzo che ci è stato inviato (anche se a mie spese) per prelevare noi due e i bagagli. Mi è piaciuta la pulizia giornaliera e rifacimento del letto della stanza. La disponibilità a cambiar stanza in quanto quella in cui abbiamo soggiornato i primi due giorni aveva bisogno a mio avviso di manutenzione. La presenza di un mini frigorifero è stata gradita come la presenza di un climatizzatore silenzioso nella seconda camera che è stata sufficientemente ampia da permettere la presenza di due sedie e due comodini nonostante il letto matrimoniale a due piazze (comodo).

Sono già stato presso la struttura qualche anno fa quando era gestita come B&B. Non ho fatto caso che le modalità di gestione sono cambiate. Oggi bisogna avere la consapevolezza che si tratta solo dell'affitto della camera. Quindi niente colazione o altri pasti inclusi (a pare le presenza di due cialde di caffè trovate nella stanza). La stanza che c'è stata inizialmente assegnata (N.14) era troppo piccola da non potere contenere due sedie o un piccolo tavolo. Inoltre suggerirei di mettere un letto una piazza e mezza e non un letto matrimoniale a due piazze viste le dimensioni della stanza. Tollerabile il frigorifero che da un lato del letto faceva da comodino (che ho ribattezzato simpaticamente "frigodino"). Non tollerabile il temporizzatore della luce delle scale troppo corto e con i bagagli in mano è stato disagevole trovare al buio l'interruttore per riaccendere la luce più volte. E' presente un piccolo ascensore, ma per chi soffre di claustrofobia non è idoneo. Nei bagni non ho trovato il classico scopino per pulire i water (scelta aziendale?). Il climatizzatore della nostra prima stanza era eccessivamente rumoroso tanto da scegliere se vegliare la notte per il caldo col climatizzatore spento e le persiane aperte o vegliare per il rumore con le persiane chiuse e il climatizzatore acceso (Serve manutenzione alla camera 14!). Il cambio camera è stato gradito e gli altri due giorni abbiamo riposato e trovato l'ambiente più confortevole e adeguato al soggiorno (e sonnotte...)

It was a short stay and we would love to visit for more time

The room was clean and in a great location . There was a great view of the water from the room

There was no staff at the property to greet us even though we sent the time we were Arriving . If it was not for the very kind person who cleaned the rooms I am not sure we would have gotten into our room without more of a delay . The next day there was no one at the property for check out .Also I was not comfortable about sending pictures of my passport via phone .

Bad communication on both ends-check-in and check out.

Beautiful b and b. The room was nicely decorated and very spacious.

There is no breakfast service-not even a cup of coffee. Aldo was not good at communicating. We ended up waiting for for 45 minutes to pick us up even though he knew when we were arriving. It is a very hard walk down to the hotel with the luggage so you have to rely on him to help you. He agreed to take us back to our car with our luggage at check out but then we were charged without him telling us upon check in which we thought was a bit dishonest.

Very good

The room was all right. Good shower, bed and air-conditioning –useful during my stay in the winter. The bathroom is relatively small, but it’s just okay. The small fridge was also practical/welcome. The Location is good –not in but nearby the centre. To walk around in Scilla is nice anyway!

Nothing significantly bad to remark here. (I didn’t have/ask breakfast so I can’t evaluate that.)

The accommodation was amazing, very romantic and traditional. It was something else! We would definitely stay here again!

LIES - No WiFi and Narcissist Owner. Avoid!

They provide many towels of various sizes and the shelving in the bathroom was great for housing my toiletries.

Be warned. There is no WiFi in the property. The listing is a lie. I raised this in the first night to the owner and he just shrugged and said ‘Oh well’. The position of the property also makes using mobile data hard, as it is an enclosed building. They tried to move me to a different room, but the WiFi in their best room with a sea view was also horrible. Check-in is also terrible. You arrive at check-in time to an abandoned front desk. You ring the bell, no one comes. It was only because another guest told me, that I rung the telephone numbers outside the door. The first got me the owner who said ‘OK’ and then hung up. Another 15 minutes go by, no one comes. I ring all three numbers again and finally someone turns up. As a traveller, there’s no question you’ve travel far. They are also on a huge hill, it’s 100 degrees and you’re carrying luggage. Letting you into the room you’ve paid for is the least they can do. They left me there waiting for 45 minutes in total in their ghost hotel. The owner is clearly an egoist. There are photos of him all over the property. He just wants to take your money and not let you enjoy your holiday. He then takes advantage of his brilliant assistant and gets him to clean up all his messes.

Very good

it’s connected to a hotel opposite the beach so very convenient when arriving by train. The staff were accommodating and not overbearing. unexpected sea view which was beautiful. lovely weekend in Scilla.

you can see the b & b was once a cosy set up. it’s cheap and cheerful and you’re left to yourselves. I think it’s misleading there is no breakfast and the wine bar set up isn’t there in the evening. hopefully they bring these aspects back.

Exceptional

Set in enchanting Chianalea, this tasteful room had a stunning view out to sea (see photo). I had lunch at Le Sirene Hotel, where the owner, chef and receptionist were all very friendly and professional. The food was excellent (see photo).

Lovely little place

It was very charming and quirky. Ideally situated. We had a lovely view of Scilla. We would recommend this property.

We had a problem with the air conditioner and had to contact the owner. He came and sorted the problem.

We loved the location, the room was clean and comfortable though small, but the staff and the terrib

The location is good, in the heart of the very cute Chianalea area.

The staff, particularly at check-in, were unfriendly and unhelpful and we did not appreciate the way orders were barked at the cleaning staff. The parking was very bad, we understand this is because we arrived on a busy festival day but we would have appreciated being warned about this in advance.

Wonderful place. Super friendly staff. Cool ride from where we had to park (no cars in the city centre) to the hotel in an electric car. Made the place feel exclusive. Little town was amazing and hotel over looking the church and the city was everything you'd hope for.

Piacere Puro 🧡

I stayed 2 nights in La Locandiera with my fiance, this was an amazing expiriance. Morning view from our room was stunning, including shine turquoise sea, roof of the church with the cross on top of it and soothing sound of water. Breakfast for first look wasn't good, but I asked for scrambled eggs. Francesco, bought himself eggs and made it for me. To sum up this was a pure pleasure!
