this hotel had very good reviews, unfortunately our experience was totally different

location was ok. staff recommendations for restaurant was good

poorly maintained, breakfast was poor, coffee was bad, when asked for different kind, they wanted extra charge.

We loved this hotel , and we highly recommend Valeni for a place to stay for your vacation . the lobby and bar are extremely pleasant to sit and have a drink at all time (great view ), very rich and tasty breakfast , the Staff is also very nice and efficient, Thanks.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, amazing breakfast

The whole place was beautiful, nicely decorated and relaxing. The breakfast was really amazing, we told the hotel in advance that we are vegan and the chef went out of his way to prepare some delicious dishes just for us, couldn’t have asked for more. Our non-vegan friends said the regular foods were also delicious. The staff was also very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The spa is really nice too.

The location, the view from the room, the welcome in the reception, parking

the bed was not comfort, the stairs inside the room, it was very hard closing the door of the shower and the toilets, some lights didn't shut down (above the two painted pictures. the quality of the food in the breakfast. the hotel claim that it is safe to drink water from the taps but the water was with chlorine test they didn't refresh the coffee and the cream in the room the 2 coffee cups was dirty

Rooms could be better. Bathroom wasn't very clean when we arrived.

Paradise on earth

A great place for couples. Not too far from village center (by driving). Very friendly staff. great view. Designed with great taste.

1. Maintenance issues: When we arrived we found 2 faults with the shower. We reported the front desk that told us that it will be fixed the next day. On the next day, when returning to the hotel in the evening, the front desk told us all is fixed. When we used the shower again we found that nothing was fixed :(. My guess: the maintenance people have mislead the front desk with false information. 2. As a SPA hotel we were surprised that the Sauna and Jacuzzi are not free at all times and that massages were not available at the time we visited.

beautiful views over the valley. some of the furniture already show that the hotel was built some time back but it is still very comfortable. we tried the spa as well with a nice sauna and a huge jacuzzi. the art work decoration very tasteful

Nice experience to explore Pilio mountain.

The hotel is very well located near Portaria village. It's quite and all the facilities are new and modern.

The toilet requires a separate dedicated room with a proper door.

Exceptional

Great Location 5’ from the center of Portaria. Very nice hotel, nice rooms even the Standard type of room is like a suite. Spacious and clean. Breakfast is delicious with homemade pies every day. A must to try is a massage treatment, masseuse is the best!!! Excellent value for money!

Beautiful Hillside Retreat

Everything else! There's not much to fault. We were lucky to have arrived 1 month after the completion of the new pool area which is breathtaking. The rooms are excellent and all of the other facilities were perfect.

Restaurant was average. There are many better options for food in the local towns of Portaria and Makrynitsa. I think this will improve with time though as the staff seemed quite new.

Great hotel with a fantastic pool and view. Very nice spa facilities and friendly staff.
