Good hotel, but bad beach

The hotel itself was good. Kitchen was really useful. Stuff is polite and helpful. My kid really liked Cubby bear quest, and Cubby Town shops and bars were really cute—looked like toy lego shops.

The worst thing here is not the hotel itself, it is the sea — it is literally useless, since even with tiny waves it closes with the red flag. And there is now way to ignore the ban, because Dadonghai beach is packed with lifeguards and security. The stupidest thing was that we had a chance to compare Sanya Bay beach and Dadonghai beach the same day, because we moved to Ascott from Holliday Inn. There were same waves on Sanya Bay beach, but is was fully open (or at least no problems with lifeguards), and on the same day Dadonghai beach was closed, and lifeguards were physically preventing swimming (shouting, grabbing hands etc.) Eventually we had to go to Xiaodonghai beach by taxi every day. Not the best seaside vacation to be honest.

I will be back to stay if I go to Sanya again. This will be my first choice.

The location was great! Pretty close to places that we want to go. Love the beach at Dadonghai Bay. It’s just five mins walk away. The breakfast was great! Love the hot soya bean drink and the good variety of food to choose from. The apartment was spacious and clean. Love the swimming pool too. Brought my mum and mother in law for a swim. The lifeguard was very attentive.

Прекрасное уединённое место для красивого отдыха

Прекрасный завтрак - вроде бы не очень большой шведский стол, но есть всё, чего хочется - и, главное, очень вкусно. Каждый день 4-5 видов фруктов, спец. блюда (лапша), жареное, варёное, паровое - всё, что нужно. Приятный тихий уголок - это не где-нибудь в Дадунхае, место очень комфортное. Закрытая территория, все услуги входят, почти никого в бассейне, вообще, мало людей. Шикарные номера, как апарты тоже огонь, только посуды мало. Прекрасные кровати.

Мог бы быть получше интернет, ну и, конечно, слабо совсем с английским (и с русским тоже :)) - один молодой человек говорил, и то с грехом пополам. А через переводчик - не всегда есть должный контакт. Но всегда во всём старались идти навстречу и тут же реагировать, и проблемы возникавшие старались решать максимально быстро - персоналу зачёт (кроме языков).

Comfortable stay for our family, will return.

The apartment worked perfectly for our family. Quite clever design as the two apartments can combine into one large 3-bedroom apartment. Facility is new, clean and modern. Kids play area is decent.

The breakfast area can be a bit bigger..and food selection can be a bit better. The staff needs to speak English if the hotel targets on foreign guests. The outdoor swimming pool is touch cold for winter cold days. It’d be good if it has a heated spa area.

Perfect nice and clean place to stay for a family holiday.

It was really clean, that staff was super helpful and friendly and the breakfast buffet was amazing. We stayed in one of the little flats with view over the ocean and it was perfect for a family holiday.

Хорошее месторасположение отеля, хорошие завтраки, отличный вид из окон, шумоизоляция, удобные ванные комнаты

Немного не удобная система хранения, шкафы неудобно открываются, уборка только поверхностная, под кроватями пыль. Тяжелая система бронирования, Букинг напрямую не общается с системой отеля, В итоге депонирует 100% денег и на месте еще необходимо оплатить 100%. Мы уже уехали, а депозит еще не вернулся. Это очень не удобно! Приходится резервировать сумму дважды, а отель не дешевый.

A spacious apartment of great value

The apartment is spacious and quiet with a very nice ocean view. It is well equipped with various facilities including big TV, big fridge, washing machine, cooking utensils, etc. The staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast is exceptioinal, beyond our expectations. The restaurant serves classic and tasty southeast Asian food.

The only minor drawback with the apartment is the relatively inconvnient location. The closest convenience store or supermarket would be around 10 min walk.

Прекрасный номер. Хорошее расположение отеля. Тихая, почти не проезжая улица и, одновременно, пляж, торговые центры и харчевни расположены в пешей доступности. Качественный сервис. Хороший завтрак. Дружелюбный персонал. Пытались реально решать возникающие проблемы, даже выходящие за их компетенции. Топы даже англоговорящие. Русскоговорящих нет от слова "совсем", но нам и не нужно было.
