No. 53 Frederick Street, Guest House in Edinburgh City Centre is situated on the second and third floors of an original Georgian townhouse dating from circa 1820, in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town.

Breakfast is available at our discounted rate with our neighbours Rabble, full details will be provided after booking. These guest houses are self-catering, and self-check-in properties.

The Space:
Room 6 is a beautifully decorated family room on the 2nd floor with 1 Super King and 1 Single bed, a period fireplace, views towards Edinburgh Castle and antique furniture, as well as a modern en-suite shower room.

The cosy and friendly Edinburgh Guest House is just a minute’s walk from Princes Street, with stunning views of the New Town, Princes Street, and, from some rooms, Edinburgh Castle. This is an elegant and spacious guest house, typified in the welcoming open hall with feature bow wall and staircase to upper floor.

We offer all the comforts and facilities that the discerning traveller visiting Edinburgh for business or leisure expects. The newly decorated bedrooms are each individually designed to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible, having all the modern conveniences but still retaining a classic environment, including magnificent original carved Adam fire surrounds Scots pine panelling, cornicing and en-suite shower rooms.

Our Guest House is right in the heart of Edinburgh’s City Centre, just a stone’s throw from George Street and Princes Street and a 10-15 minute walk to the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle.

Getting Around:
Edinburgh Waverley Station is within easy reach, around 15-minute walk, or half this by car. Both bus and tram services on Princes Street and York Place, offer regular connecting transfer to Edinburgh Airport. Haymarket Train Station, is within 20-minute travel time, and there is now a convenient tram stop at nearby Murrayfield Stadium.
