About This Space
As you enter this inviting home, you will find the kitchen to your right and a perfectly situated powder room to your left. The main level also opens up to a large living room, complete with wood burning fireplace and a guest room with a King bed for easy accessibility. A loft overlooks this great room and hosts some cozy nooks for reading and quiet play time as well as a king size sleeper sofa for additional flexibility with your sleeping arrangements.
Downstairs you will find a well-appointed primary suite, with a king bed and adjoining bathroom. Next door is the bunk room with two bunk beds, sleeping a total of 4 in this fantastic room. Across the hall is a full bathroom, with sauna for everyone to enjoy.
The Area
There is something for everyone at The Quechee Club. In the summer months members and renters can enjoy a number of outdoor activities. The Club offers two 18-hole golf courses, Lakeland & Highland, with stunning scenery and conditions. There are tennis courts spread throughout the community with professional tennis lessons and enjoyable competition. Renters can also enjoy the state-of-the-art aquatic center- featuring an indoor & outdoor pool with an active kid's zone. Likewise, you can venture over to the beach at Lake Pinneo and rent a kayak or canoe. Then head over to The Club to enjoy a cocktail by the pool, a meal on Dewey's Deck or fine dining at Davidson's.
In the winter months, Ski Quechee is our featured amenity. Open Friday through Sunday and during MA school vacation week, take the family out for an exciting day on expertly groomed terrain. The mountain is modest and easily navigable for young and old, alike. You can enjoy our wonderful base lodge and après ski gatherings with activities for the whole family. The Club also maintains heated platform tennis with warming huts through the cold months to keep your paddle game sharp. The Club features a full winter recreational calendar including snowshoeing, x-country skiing (a groomed track is literally right out the back door), sledding, skating and much more! Killington is a short 30 min drive and Okemo is 45.
Outside of our seasonal offerings, there is so much more at Quechee. The Club offers a modern fitness center with daily fitness classes and top-notch equipment. Hiking trails are spread throughout the community woods. Quechee is home to a number of special events and wonderful dining experiences. Don't miss out.
