Our cottage includes a detached bonus space equipped with a smart TV, Wi-Fi, sofa bed, pub table with 8 chairs, and a cabinet full of games for game night! With windows and sliders on all sides, it is the perfect indoor/outdoor space to enjoy lake life.
Leavitt Beach, and all Meredith beaches, are usually reserved for residents only since you need a parking permit to park at all town beaches. However, our guests have easy access as our cottage is only a 2 minute walk away. No permit is required for walking to the beach.
We are located in a safe, quiet family neighborhood. We ask that you respect our neighbors. Parties are strictly prohibited and loud noises should be avoided after 10pm.
When the water levels are high, use the onsite canoe or your own kayak to paddle right from the cottage out to Lake Winnipesaukee via the water inlet on property! Note: this feature is not guaranteed. Water level can vary greatly depending on Mother Nature.
We do allow one well-behaved dog per booking. All pets must be approved in advance, so please message us after booking so we can go over the rules. For multiple pet exceptions, please message us prior to booking.
Your hosts, Sarah and John, will be in touch with you prior to your stay to make sure you have all your questions answered. Sarah and John are always happy to help and answer any questions throughout your stay.
Our location is ideally suited when visiting downtown Meredith. Five minute drive to downtown and Mills Falls Church Landing, three minutes to Center Harbor. Ideal location if you are attending a wedding nearby. If you have never checked out Moulton Farms, only one mile down the road, you must! Their produce is so fresh and mostly grown right on site. They bring in local dairy (try the chocolate milk!). Sal from Sal's Seafood will bend over backwards for his customers. And of course, do not leave without a bag of hot Cider Bellies donuts!
