I would strongly not recommend staying here. In reading the reviews for the penthouse on the 3rd floor here in the same 3 story building at 1566 N. LaSalle Drive, I see the owner replied to reviews saying that he had he been notified of problems he would have addressed them. I believe there are basic things that should be in place and not require the renter to have to complain about when they arrive like the place being clean, lights working, plenty of towels and dishes, etc. My family and I were here for 8 weeks and below are all the problems we had to deal with. Additionally, they never got on the phone and expressed any apology and urgency to address everything. We had many issues but here are some key ones. 1. Constant millipede type bugs coming from under the baseboards that we had to kill ourselves. 2. Rodent issues - saw evidence of this one day and they had to close a hole. 3. HVAC Not Cooling when we arrived. 4. Access Issues: The door code (keyless entry) failed one day, and there was no quick response in chatting with the owner/property manager. I had to engage VRBO, who eventually provided the owner’s phone number. This forced the owner to respond but this was not ideal as my son, and I were locked out of the unit. The lockbox next to the unit entry was used to get in as it had the key. 5.Accessibility: While there is a front door to the entrance, it is nonfunctional. Rather than fix this, the owner makes renters use a dangerous and dirty side building entrance.

It was a bit noisy there is a barbershop right underneath that will blast music almost all day. Besides that’s, great place!
