Exceptional
The owner and his wife were amazing, extremely welcoming and friendly. We brought our 2 small chihuahua with us and they we're accommodating! This hotel is great value for money.. location is great, quite area, lots of restaurants near by and only short drive to the beach, bluport and village Market. The rooms are clean and spacious, bigger than most hotels in Hua Hin. The hotel and area is safe and secure.
Nothing.

Very nice rooms, fantastic German food.
Everything was great. Large, clean room, comfy beds, thick clean towels that smelled good. Quiet at night. Great food (try the German Pizza: Flammkuchen!)

Unwelcomed, unsatisfactory service, rude treatment
New & clean property. Nice and unique architecture and a great variety of food. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try the food.
From the get-go, the owners were not very welcoming. When we first arrived, they took a while to attend to us (to check-in) as they were cooking in the kitchen. However, upon coming out, they pulled long faces the entire time without apologising for making us wait. We didn’t feel very welcomed at all. Furthermore, being a “pet-friendly” hotel, we feel that more could have been done to better prepare themselves for guests with pets. They were extremely particular about where our pets could go to the loo (they said outside the entire property only) and where they could roam around. There are things about being pet-friendly that owners should expect, where a mess is somewhat unavoidable but we as owners do our best to clean up after ourselves as well. When we were out for dinner for just 2 hours, the owner had gone into the room unannounced to turn off our air conditioning and he misplaced the remote control (which is how we realised someone had been in the room). This felt like a huge breach of our privacy. When we approached the owner to provide him with some feedback, we were met with a very defensive attitude, where he said everybody loves their food. That’s fair enough but regardless of the point that the service and treatment provided was inadequate and rude. Guests shouldn’t have to feel this way, even if it is their policy that if you’re not in the room, it wasn’t told to us at all since the beginning (check-in had no briefing whatsoever). Lastly, the lady that settled our bill and checked us in was very rude and hostile in attitude. She refused to check us out and insisted that her husband do so instead (we were shouted at to “go there go there go there!”). When we approached her husband, he refused to open the gate for our car to leave, and insisted on checking the room thoroughly (which took 15 minutes). After which, he chased us away saying “Ok go” as if we were not welcomed.
