About this house rental
This newly constructed lake property is the perfect getaway if you are looking to enjoy a quiet/relaxing stay while being close to all things lake related, grocery store, and restaurants.
We offer a 90 minute sunset cruise, weather permitting, for all our guests (8 people max) with a complimentary bottle of wine as well as chilled bottled soda and water.. The rate is 150.00 and is paid outside of VRBO.
Please note that this house is not "childproof" or "wheelchair accessible." There are stairs to the 2nd floor with cable railing, no railing on any porches, and there are stairs at all 3 home entrances. Also, this is a smoke-free home. No smoking in the house or on the porches/lanai.
On the main floor, there are 2 guest rooms that each feature a queen bed, night stands, dresser, and ceiling fan. 1 of the guestrooms has a door directly out to the back lanai.
The main bathroom is located off the hallway of the main living space between both bedrooms. It has a tub/shower with a shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser and a 48" vanity. Towels, washcloths, bath mat and hand towel supplied.
The master suite, which is on the other side of the main living space, has a lovely lake view from the king-size bed. There are 2 nightstands and a large dresser with a smart TV. The bathroom features a double vanity, walk-in tile shower with shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser. There is a walk-in closet for your use with an ironing board/iron available. Towels, washcloths, bath mat supplied.
On the main floor, with 10 foot ceilings, you will enjoy the open floor plan with a large round table that seats 6 and island seating for 3. The living room has 2 very comfortable couches and an accent chair. Soft throws are within an arms reach if wanted.
Our beverage/coffee bar has all you need for coffee in the morning and cool drinks throughout the day. An under-counter wine/beverage cooler with complimentary water bottles has been installed for your use. The Keurig is hard plumbed. No need to add water! Just drop in your pod and go. A French press is available, as well as a full pot coffee brewer, which is in the pantry. We have starter pods and coffee filters onsite. Wine glasses and coffee mugs are located at the coffee bar.
The kitchen is stocked for your cooking/eating needs. Just bring your ingredients, which can be purchased at the nearby Publix grocery store 2 miles down the road. The microwave is located in the pantry. Small appliances include a toaster and blender. In addition to the refrigerator ice maker, the pantry has an under-counter ice maker for days you might want to fill up a cooler.
A high capacity washer and dryer are available for your use. There is detergent and softener sheets available.
Upstairs, challenge your friends/family to a game of ping pong, watch a movie on the large sectional, or enjoy reading a book and gazing at the lake from the window bench seat. There is a small round game table, if that is your thing. For additional sleeping, there is also a twin day bed with a twin trundle upstairs with linens available. A half bathroom is upstairs.
If you prefer to relax outside, the lanai fireplace or outdoor fire pit is the perfect place to wind down each evening while enjoying your favorite beverage and the lovely view of the lake. Firewood is on site for your enjoyment. An outside TV is mounted above the mantle. There is an outdoor gas grill and a separate charcoal grill. Extra propane for the grill is in the storage building.
4 on-site kayaks can be launched from the water's edge on our lake access lot. Life jackets provided and are in the shed. There is also a kayak and paddle board rental place about 2 miles away at The Landing.
There are 2 marinas within 4 miles of our home. .
A convenient cut through driveway makes it easy to get in and out if towing a boat trailer and there is ample parking for 2 vehicles.
Beach towels are provided based on occupancy.

Wonderful home. New, clean and great location. The house was very comfortable and the covered patio with tv was a great spot to watch the Olympics on a rainy day. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and dock. It was too hot to use the fire pit but it is a nice feature. Appreciated the flowers and cookies. So sweet. Definitely recommend this house.

This home was perfect! From every detail, to the location, the cost, quality of workmanship, comfortability, having everything we needed for our stay, and more, to the owners, Jackie and Marcus and the personal touches from greeting you and their hospitality and their neighbor, Richie, and the delicious cookies- I can’t say enough! We have stayed in a lot of places and this one by far topped them all!

Normally we stay at my parents’ nearby lake house, but a huge family reunion meant we needed more beds than were available. This house was a perfect, close-by spot for two adult couples and two teenagers. The house is new and beautifully maintained. It has all the amenities you could want— beach towels, fire pit, outdoor TV on a shaded patio, kayaks, thoroughly stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and modern, well-equipped bathrooms. Communication with the owner was easy, and he was flexible and super communicative. Met us at the house for check-in and a walk through, and left us with all the information we needed— WiFi login info, check-out instructions, and tips for appliances were posted around the house in convenient locations. The house is not on the water, but has easy access via a neighbor’s dock, and the peekaboo views from several spots in the house (and wider views from outside) make you feel like you are right on the lake. We love this part of Lake Norman, and this is a wonderful house for enjoying it. We will definitely rent this home again when the family house is overflowing. Thanks for a great stay!

Upon check-in, we were welcomed personally into the home, toured the property, and enjoyed the freshly baked cookies. The house is stunning! The hosts thought of everything, including providing soap and shampoo in the showers. The peacefulness of the area spoiled us. My sister and I enjoyed the neighbor's dock for sunbathing every day. Kayaks were a big hit with the men and boys of the group. We will be back!

Newly built home with all the amenities you could ask for. Quiet, relaxing space with plenty of room for our family. Back porch view of yhe lake is better than the pictures! Tucked away, but not out of the way from stores, restaurants. Proporty Managers could not have been nicer! We had a fabulous time, highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay. This house was impeccable and Jackie has the best taste. She didn’t miss a thing in the house and the view to the lake was amazing. We loved sitting on the back patio’s with a fire and a movie at night. It was so relaxing. The girls are already talking about coming back next year. I highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was even better than advertised. Enjoyed visiting small town Main Streets in the area. Really appreciated the extra touches like fresh cookies and sourdough bread. Hope to go back in the summer.

A beautiful super clean and newly remodeled home with a view of Lake Norman. The kitchen has everything you would need and more. We really enjoyed the outdoor fireplace as it was cool in November. The owners provided all soaps for bath and kitchen, paper products, wood for the fireplace etc.. We were greeted with chocolate chip cookies, fresh pastries, and fresh eggs from the farm. The home is close to the state park which we visited twice for hiking. Plenty of shopping nearby. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing time away!

This home has everything you could possibly need for a wonderful lake vacation. The home was just built this year and you can tell. It's gorgeously decorated, has a great location and view on the lake, is in a great neighborhood and is basically a ranch with a bonus room upstairs (so those of us who want to avoid too many stairs are in luck!). The owners are fantastic and respond quickly should you have any questions. We would definitely rent this house again should we be in the area.

We came to stay for a family wedding and everything was perfect. This weekend was special to us because usually we are traveling with 4 little boys that are very active. Instead we got to sit on the Lanai for many hours with my parents and brother/sister in law, shared many laughs and memories. We were supplied with ample amount of wood and the outdoor furniture was so comfortable. The house was perfectly set up with quality beds, pillows and linens. We felt so at home while we stayed. Thank you Marcus and Jackie for creating this beautiful place to stay!

Marcus & Jackie have mastered the art of hospitality! We've been renting vacation homes for over 30 years and they go way beyond what is expected of hosts to provide an exceptional stay. The attention to detail exceeds expectations. Their beautifully decorated lake house is new and perfect in every way. They provide quality linens and towels in addition to comfortable beds and furniture. The location is close to grocery stores, restaurants and parks with walking trails. The outdoor lanai with the fireplace was a great place to enjoy the lake view, read and watch TV. We enjoyed all the amenities and would highly recommend this property for a relaxing vacation. Our family vacation over the Labor Day weekend from Thursday to Thursday was a wonderful stay on the lake with access to four kayaks and a one day rental of the owners pontoon boat. The only negative was the oppressive heat in the mid 90's and humidity, something out of the control of the owners Markus and Jackie. Both made our stay a most enjoyable one for our family of six adults, two children and two 10 month old twin boys.
My wife and I arrived first and were met by the owners who welcomed us and showed us everything we needed to know about their new rental home. Jackie designed the house and did the interior decorating and Markus built the house. The three bedroom, two and half baths and huge upstairs TV/Ping Pong room with a large couch and trundle bed fit our needs perfectly. The open house layout, outside porch and large fire pit area, was perfect for morning coffee and evening s'mores.
The owners boat rental was great for exploring and enjoying the lake. Markus met us with the boat at the house dock and explained all safety and boat features. He was thorough and told us the full tank of gas would last all day, which it did. We all had a wonderful day on Lake Norman and I fully endorse doing this either for a half or full day. It was well worth the added expense.
I fully recommend this rental and would definitely rent again. 5 stars all around! Great job Markus and Jackie!

this Lakehome is PERFECT! We loved our stay. The beds and pillows were comfy. the house was immaculate!
