About this apartment rental

I have lived in Sellwood for over 20 years and, in our opinion, it's by far the best place to be in Portland... welcome! If you are coming for work, to visit with family, or simply want to explore and relax, you are sure to find comfort during your stay!

The Space
The private studio is very quiet, offering a cozy space you will quickly settle into. It has been built to match the style of the bungalow home built in 1915. While it doesn't have a kitchen, everything is new... refrigerator, toaster, coffee pour over, and hot water pitcher. All the furnishings, linens, and Smart TV... all are new. Very clean and comfortable, naturally cool in the summer (fantastic insulation), warm in the winter... this space is settled in the magical town of Sellwood. Many have shared that this is the best VRBO they have stayed in. We are grateful for the overwhelmingly positive response.

This was my 2nd stay here and my only regret was that I couldn’t stay longer! The hosts were so accommodating when I requested to leave my luggage a few hours before check in time. I had a lot of expensive medical equipment with me that I needed to get out of my car on a very hot day, and they bent over backwards to make it happen. Thanks for everything! Hope to return next year!

This place was ideal for a visit with my daughter who lives in the neighborhood, and family in town for her wedding. Everything was convenient, comfortable and cozy, just as described!

My stay couldn’t have been better. I was in Portland to work several night shifts, I slept very well during the day, the neighborhood and property was very quiet. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were very good. Easy parking. The neighborhood is beautiful, and although I was not able to walk or go the Sellwood park, it’s just a short walk away. Check in was a breeze, and the host was easily accessible and responsive. I absolutely would stay here again!

When I visit my daughter at Reed, I always look for something convenient, safe and cozy. I won’t have to look again as this will be my go-to for future visits! Great attention to detail and an easy walk to Portal Tea cafe where I spent hours working and drinking the best tea! Highly recommend!

It's a very nice, quiet unit on a tree-lined street, with some great eateries within easy walking distance. The studio is beautifully appointed with lots of thoughtful touches. Every time we thought "I wonder if there's a...", the answer was always yes. 10/10 would return!

Comfy..quiet..meet all my needs..only hitch was the wi-fi for the RokuTV had a lot of buffering issues..didn’t matter a whole lot as I was out the majority of the time..but thought I should mention it..thanks!

Wonderful studio in a great location! Muddy Rudders is right down the street and was great! We were in town for the swashbucklers ball at the Elks Lodge. The studio apartment was a perfect spot for us to crash after the festivities. Very cozy, clean and well appointed.

Great neighborhood just SE of downtown Portland. Easy to take transit to all the things one wants to do. Studio was easy to access and separate from the main house. Greenway access good and commercial strip has everything one wants.

Very nice owners; lovely property, lovely private space. Comfortable, well fitted, home-like. Good walking neighborhood, Sellwood town ditto. I would only say - and this is NOT a criticism, just a possible consideration - it is very, more than, comfortable for two... if those two are a couple. Or two good friends who don't mind sharing the one bed for their stay. Would certainly return if I'm fortunate enough to pass this way again.

Great location to explore Portland and surrounding areas. Great space. Very private and cozy. The kitchenette (microwave, mini fridge & tea kettle/coffee station) worked great for us. Lots of nice places to walk to. The host was very responsive and kind. Great having off street parking. Would stay here again. Thank you.

I had the most pleasant stay at Scot and Trish's studio. Sellwood is a beautiful neighborhood and Scot & Trish's studio is in the heart of all that Sellwood has to offer. A quiet, cozy and tranquil place to lay my head after a day of exploring. Sellwood Park and Riverfront Park are so close, as is the Springwater Corridor Trail. So many restaurants and local shops. Trish and Scot were excellent hosts. I appreciate their hospitality and I'm so glad I had an opportunity to stay in their studio.

This was such a sweet spot to rest and stay while attending family orientation at Lewis & Clark. The studio was perfect and very comfortable. The hosts were lovely.

I enjoyed every moment staying at this charming little spot! This part of Portland is such a vibrant community as well as centrally located, so if you have to leave it it’s about 2 blocks from the Sellwood Bridge and the west side of Portland! I had visitors come several times where we enjoyed a glass of wine or a meal from The Meddling Lime food truck (my favorite) outside on the patio. The rooms are spotless and stocked with everything but the kitchen sink, which I didn’t miss! I hope to stay again on my next visit to beautiful Portland! Scot, thank you for creating this lovely spot and for being the perfect host!

This Sellwood studio was very comfortable and nicely located -- I enjoyed that it was very walkable to lots of shops and restaurants. Scot was very communicative and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a very nice, spacious studio in a great location. The neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing. There are several restaurants within a 5 minute walk, plus an excellent bakery, excellent coffee shop, and a New Seasons grocery store. Two nice parks are also within easy walking distance. Scot and Trish are wonderful hosts. We will try to book this again whenever we return to Portland.
