Will not stay again due to noise and lack of sleep

Bus stop outside

Other residents were very noisy, walls were very thin, lots of shouting all hours and loud TV. Did nt get much sleep. Only 1 mug and 2 hangers in the room. Rang owner and somebody brought another couple of hangers and a mug. Kitchen was filthy, did nt use it. Garden was unkept

TV was a mere decorative object because it is not cable connected for one to use. Mottled noises and pixelated images on screen. No shaver plug socket Car parking on the main road Electrical connection was with extension lead placed on the floor, definitely a safety risk. Kettle provided but no socket on the workup so had to be water had to boiled on the floor placed extension cable. Very soft mattress on the bed capable of causing back pain. No noise cancellation on the walls because one could hear other occupants clearly.

An acceptable property for a short stay.

The room had what was needed and was good for the price.

I arrived and the key for my room was missing. I was told to go for a coffee and they would pay for it but I was never compensated.. Apparently, the cleaner had an emergency but decided to take the key with him. I was not informed four several hours and had to call the contact several hours later. No details on the WiFi use either. Security for the keys to the house is a health and safety risk. The box was left opened on many occasions and anyone can grab the keys. Digital codes would be safer.

Scruffy exterior

Room itself was nice/clean and there was a kettle. Selected as it was cheaper than a nearby hotel. Bus stop close by.

Exterior of property was a big disappointment, it was the scruffiest house on the street. No mirror in bathroom and could feel the springs in the bed. The front door wasn’t always locked by other tenants, would be better if it was an automatic lock for more security. It took time to figure out how to turn on the TV, a sheet of paper with instructions would have been useful for where to find the button and how to use it, as it wasn’t just to turn the tv on but also used for volume and changing source. When messaging the owner about this they were not very helpful and I had to work it out by myself. Personally I would not stay here again and would opt for a hotel in the future.

it was very nice, love the comfort and layout and a lot of space

the only thing was that the sink in the bathroom was way to small and the glass shelf above it was poorly placed because I kept hitting my head on it when trying to brush my teeth

Great shower, fridge, smart TV & kettle also location was perfect for what I needed.

There was no shampoo at the property. Mattress and pillows could be better. Drilling at 8am in the adjacent room was annoying and the curtain was not long enough to cover the patio door so woke up too early to sunlight coming in the room.

Disappointing

The bed sheets looked clean. The toilet was clean. Nothing more.

Hairs in the bathroom, uncomfortable bed, room was next to the road so was very noisy. Only one big light in the room.

very clean inside the room, fan available for the hot weather and a really good size

front of the property let’s it down a bit but don’t let it put you off staying as the room was excellent

Simple accommodation

Simple but generous sized room, excellent shower, fridge and sink. Chair. TV. Access to back garden. Good price for en suite room in the area. There is no additional charge for towels and bedding and WiFi is available. Very close to bus stop and nearby shops, Orpington centre.

Dangerous hot tap in bathroom. Inadequate bin and rubbish flowing onto the street. Back garden very messy, could be a great asset. Room clean but cobwebs above the bed and garment packaging by the bed.

The last resort

Some were to sleep for the night.

1. Could do with front of property, looking tidy and garden area maintained. Along with refuge bins on display, no lids and rubbish strewn all over front of property, due to animal wildlife, fox's and seaguls, getting into rubbish.😵‍💫 2. No tv chanels avaiable, had no acsess on arrival, as key in key lock box had been taken by other occupant. Resolved after 20 minutes, after contact made contact with the person who had the key. Still not good upon arrival, stood outside waiting.🙈 3. Tiny sink in bath room, with shelve directly above, could'nt wash properly in the morning or brush teeth. No mirror, and bathroom had no frosted glass, so you was on view to all the world, poor.🙈 4. Bed's in total need of new matteress's, old and well past there sell by date. Had to make do with sofa bed which was hard leather, no confort at all, had serious bad back for 2 days plus.😢 5. Window glass in bad need of a window cleaner, not been cleaned in years, could barely see through them.🙈 6. In need of new curtains and blinds, looked like someone had donated some second hand pass downs, very old and tired.😪 7. This is certainly, no stylish home from home, this is just a place to attempt to get a night's rest, but, BEST OF LUCK WITH THAT....☹️

Accommodation was very clean, well equipped, and in very good condition. Bed was comfortable.

Superb

The room was on the 2nd floor and was very clean. It's been newly refurbished so everything was nice and clean

Maybe a few more cooking utensils in the kitchen like plates pots and pans and more cups and spoons.

with alittle more thought it could be so much better

the location, the responsiveness of the staff to a checking issue we had and it was clean

the bed was uncomfortable, the lack of sockets around the kitchenette area.. you couldn’t plug the kettle in.. the extension cable running across the bathroom door….the bathroom layout, no mirror and a very small sink…… but worst of all was the noise into the early hours from the flat above keeping us awake

Good value room

Staff member was really friendly, easy to check in and out, relatively quiet location and close to Sidcup. It was good value for money, very simple and reasonably decent room with the essentials.

No WiFi, and bad signal. Unfortunately the router in the kitchen had incorrect password. The bed needs changing (Room 1), and there are a lack of sockets for phone charger ect, had to unplug the TV to boil the kettle.

Exceptional

Me and my partner travel for work. Every now and again we treat ourselves to staying close to work and saving time. So we book an air bnb. I must say this one has been, by far, the best. From the customer service, which is available 24/7, to the cleanliness of the room. It was nice to come back to a warm, cosy and clean room from a long day of work outside.

Disappointing location and facilities in this studio flat - a real shame.

it was modern and clean.

The location wasn’t ideal - in the middle of a council estate. I wasn’t sure that my car would be safe left on the road. The garden at the front and back were overgrown and had some rubbish in. The drive was overgrown and could have been cleared for parking like the next door property. The description of the facilities was incorrect - no washing machine, or carpet. Also, the TV didn’t work , and the fridge wasn’t switched on. There was no kettle in the property , and I discovered that boiling water came out of the kitchen tap and so used that for a hot drink. There should have been instructions on that. Also even though there were a couple of mugs and glasses, there was no spoons for stirring the hot drink. I definitely won’t be staying there again. If it was equipped better and the garden tidied up then I would consider staying there again.

Hospitality, kitchen and even the room were beautiful sincerely worth every penny.
