Thanks for everything.

Super friendly owners and a clean and nice place to stay. The pool was really clean and the water had a nice temperature. The owners helped us a lot when our credit card got retained on the first day in Sri Lanka due to a faulty ATM.

Superhostel!!

Heerlijke plek om bij te komen van een 4-weekse reis. Oase van rust! ( behalve af en toe een vliegtuig). Ligt op een strook land tussen de lagoon en de zee. Vanuit het perfecte zwembad kijk je uit over de lagoon. In de tuin is schaduw van de palmbomen. 150 m lopen en je bent op het mooie strand aan de zee. Sunset ! Isha en haar man hebben het prachtig voor elkaar. Super kamer met zitje en perfecte badkamer. Goede Airco en heerlijk comfortabel bed! Isha is een goede kokkin. Lekker locaal eten. Verse visgerechten, krab, garnalen etc. Altijd tijd voor een praatje, lekkere drankjes en/of n koud biertje. 3 kamers. Alles zo goed als nieuw en veel service en aandacht. Topper en aanrader!!!

Toller Abschluss nach einer Rundreise

Der Empfang war ausserordentlich freundlich. Ich habe im Vorfeld nach einem Lunch/Dinner gefragt, dieser wurde mir umgehend bestätigt. Es war die beste Mahlzeit, die ich in Sri Lanka gegessen habe. Wer frischen Sea Food nach Hausfrauenart zubereitet mag, kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und verfügt über eine Klimaanlage. Vom Bett aus schaut man direkt auf die Lagune. Ich würde das Hiru Lagoon jederzeit wieder buchen!

Great place!

I had a fantastic stay at Hiru Lagoon. The room and bathroom were both clean. The room is spacious and the bed very comfortable. The view on the lagoon is very beautiful and the pool is big enough to cool down and have a nice swim. The breakfast was very delicious and the owner surprised me with a fantastic crab dinner. Just wow!

Perfekte Lage um anzukommen oder vor der Abreise. Unbedingt zwei Nächte bleiben. Es lohnt sich.

Eine der besten Unterkünfte in Sri Lanka die wir hatten. Unbedingt dort auch Essen und den gemütlichen Garten mit Pool genießen.

El alojamiento perfecto

El alojamiento perfecto. Habitación y baño muy limpios y bonitos. Desayuno y cena en el exterior con unas vistas increíbles al jardín, piscina y a la laguna de Negombo. Cena de arroz con cangrejo, pescado y gambas muy sabroso y a un precio muy bajo. Trato superagradable por parte de la propietaria y su familia, profesional, discreto y eficaz. Nos gustaría mucho volver a este pequeño paraíso. Muchas gracias.

Een aangenaam en ontspannend verblijf aan de lagoon.

Hiru Lagoon de naam zegt het al ligt pal aan de lagoon, maar ook niet ver van de Oceaan, misschien 5 minuten lopen. Hiru Lagoon is met zorg gebouwd en vorm gegeven en daar zie je de hand in van gastvrouw Isha Fernando. Ze is een echte gastvrouw die iedereen die buiten is op een aangename manier in de gaten houdt. Kijk naar het prachtige zwembad. Er heerst rust, afgezien van de 3 tot 4 vliegtuigen per dag, maar een kniesoor die daar een punt van maakt. De volgende keer zit je er zelf in. Er wordt goed gekookt. De douche is prima en met een goede waterdruk wat niet vaak voor komt. En de bedden zijn ook gewoon goed. Kortom alle voorwaarden voor een aangenaam verblijf.

Mijn opmerking tegen Isha is geweest dat het ontbijt voor verbetering vatbaar is. Iets meer en iets gevarieerder. Meer was er niet om tegen te vallen, want de lunches en diners waren gewoon goed.

Perfect

All was perfect. very good place to stay in Negombo with view on the lagoon. Big room very clean , few rooms and a very nice family We arrived very late at night and were warmly welcomed . It s perfect for your arrival your departure or your stay in negombo

Wonderful stay in peaceful soundings with lovely hosts!

We unfortunately had to cut our stay short due to personal circumstances but absolutely loved our time with Hiru Lagoon. The atmosphere was serene and we particularly enjoyed sitting on the chairs outside our room and watching the bird life flying across the lagoon. The hosts were very kind and attentive and the bedroom was spacious, clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet once the door to the room was shut. Outside, there was a steady and pleasant breeze with well shaded sitting areas and the sound of the lagoon water lapping against the shore. All in all, I would feel very comfortable recommending this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Location is a bit far from restaurants and shops but Uber resolves this and is very cheap and easy to arrange. Depending on what you actually want from your trip, the location may actually be a positive as it was for us (see above comments about how serene and peaceful the hotel is).

This is how vacation should start

Aussergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft. Sehr sauber. Komfortables grosses Bett. Authentisches Essen. Schöne Anlage mit Pool. Wir haben hatten ein hervorragendes curry und seafood zum dinner. Das Essen ist liebevoll zubereitet, schmackhaft und grosse Portionen.

Nichts diese Unterkunft ist hervorragend.

Relaxed stay

The location was amazing, right in front of the Nigombo Lagoon. Theowner was friendly and the food was delicious. I also liked that the hot water for the shower came right out.

Exceptional

very lovely and attentive couple running the place. it’s spacious and very clean right on the lagoon.. you can’t beat the spectacular view 😍😍 definitely recommend it.
