Giornata rilassante in campagna

Le stanze sono assolutamente silenziose perché la casa è posizionata lontano dalle strade ad alta percorribilità, ed è totalmente immersa nella campagna umbra. Ottima colazione fatta in casa.

I just wish we’d had more time to stay longer!

Beautiful location with amazing views, and very friendly and helpful hosts, who have given careful attention to every detail, from the manicured lawn and gardens to the delicious breakfast. The early morning walk up to the village was a pleasant start to the day, and a dip in the pool to cool off at the end of the day was very refreshing.

This was our favorite accommodation during our 2 weeks in Italy.

San Carlo was intended to be a stop along the way during our travels from the Amalfi coast to Venice but it was so wonderful, we are planning to visit again for a longer stay in the region. The host was very nice and helpful, the room was large, comfortable and charming. The property was tranquil and beautiful.

Feeling at home from the first moment

Beautiful location with stunning views. Hosted by a very warm family, who make you feel at home from the first moment. Delicious and fresh breakfast in the mornings. We stayed for five nights and enjoyed it very much. From the B&B you can easily discover Italy’s charming towns. Being only 5 minutes driving from Citta della Pieve offers plenty of dining options.

The bed mattresses are a bit on the firm side, for the rest nothing!

Exceptional

This is an exceptional place with really dedicated staff. The whole family went the extra mile to make our stay special. They allowed us to use their washing machine and gave us great tips for restaurants and things to do in Citta della Pieve. They make sure you really enjoy your stay. The property is sorounded by olive trees and has a spectacular view across the valley. Also the pool area is clean and tidy and a great place to relax and view the soroundings. Breakfast is also very nice and includes freshly baked cakes, bruschetta and other tasty things. Also, breakfast is set up in the garden and you have a great view already in the morning. Rooms are spacious and super clean. They are fitted with mosquito nets which is really helpful in August.

Great place with a view

Absolutely amazing villa with a great view! You can use pool anytime and enjoy the views outside in the sitting areas. Rooms are nice and clean. There is possible to park your car under the roof so your car is nice and cool in the morning. Breakfast was delicious (traditional italian). Friendly and helpful staff. Place is hosted by a lovely Family! In outside there were different lounge areas which was a big plus for us. We would reccommend it totally and would visit again!

Calm hospitable b&b in a lovely position

The staff were really helpful and went the extra mile after our long hot journey. It's in a wonderful position down a long drive just outside Citta del Pieve, with nothing but beautiful rolling hills to see from your room. Nice pool too.

Rural country house close to the Umbrian-Tuscan border

Beautifully renovated and decorated house in a wonderful setting with an amazing panorama of Citta della Pieve or the surrounding areas. I liked the way the house retained its original style. The room and bathroom were also large. We had a very good, restful sleep at nights. Citta della Pieve is approx. 2 kilometer away so you can easily “jump in” for dinner or whatever. The location is optimal not only for exploring the nearby places of Umbria, but also for the southeastern part of Tuscany. The property has a well-kept garden/yard. Breakfast is also served here. The pool offers refreshment on a hot summer day. The members of the family running the accommodation were very kind. Breakfast was fantastic with a variety of sweet and savory food and fruit.

A fan would have been useful for on hotter days, especially in rooms facing west (like ours), but this is not a critical issue.
